Very good development. All those who participated in one way or the other to compromise Nigeria should be treated as enemies of the state irrespective of their tribe, religion or ethnicity.

Let's just imagine Dasuki was an Igbo or a SS person, our brothers and sisters from the East would have started crying blue murder. PMB will pursue all cases on their merits and demerits and not on where you come from or who you are.
oga don't imagine any nonsense. We don't know the full story yet, and moreover Dasuki was one of the soldiers that arrested Buhari at gun point when his military regime was toppled. Don't drag ethnicity into this

Good Intentions and He is Good So Far"(16 per cent): How did they measure the intention of the President? I have flipped through the needs of Nigerians and the promises of APC, I couldn't find "Good Intention" as part of our needs. I am equally much confused on "He's Good So Far". Good in what sense? I think these people were out to insult us. This is ridiculous. Can't stop laughing at this,

Politics / Re: SGF: New Deal For South-east Over Ekweremadu-tribune by ChikezieU(m): 1:19pm On Jul 11, 2015
Who is that
true-born Igbo that would ask his own to quit
a seat to have another when the North is
already having numbers one, three and four
citizens? What number is DSP and SGF on the
protocol list that one would have to go for the
other for the Ndigbo to have a say in this
administration? But we know ourselves, those good for nothing wealthy businessmen and gullible politicians will succumb to this trick and will want to dissuade Ekweremadu from the DSP position and when he refused as he would they would want to rubbish his name claiming he is selfish while they (the coalition to dissuade Ekweremadu) are truly the selfish ones. This is exactly our problem as a tribe. We are watching, Our beloved DSP has come to star and will deliver the services needed of him to the Federation and Igboland.

Politics / Re: WAR Is HELL - A Message For All Those Calling For War! by ChikezieU(m): 7:54pm On Jul 07, 2015
Pangea:
Everyday people talk about starting another war without remembering that war is hell. Thank God for the War Journalist who helps us remember. One such a Journalist is the Frenchman Gilles Caron who first saw war as a French soldier in Algeria and hated it so much that he stopped fighting and spent the last 4 months of his Military service in French chains.

He then went on to fashion photography which he found boring and returned to the front this time without a gun but with a camera and has given us some of the most thought provoking photos from various conflicts including our own Biafra.

My favourite ( if we can call it that ) is this one of wounded Biafran soldiers being left by their mates as the battle turns and the Federals advance.,

Just as you see the back of the fleeing Biafrans you can take inventory of the fright and horror of the surviving wounded soldier in his eyes pleading with the remaining troops ( Caron included ) not to be left behind to a certain death.

Instances like this made Gilles Caron drink heavily and you sure can’t blame him because I would be shooting heroin just to be able to go to sleep.

So as you rattle your swords and gnash your teeth crying for war…remember this side and that the young man on the ground is someone’s son, brother or even a Father. Worse still he may never get to be a Father.

go to hell with your post, you simply wrote this because you believe a certain people have had enough of ill treatment. No one is afraid of war unless your right has not been trampled upon. I quiet agree that a call for war is a call for casualties, but who will suffer the most and who will be liberated?

Zoom off to hell with your idiotic rants, how many senators represented South East. Even if Ekweremadu is not meeting up to expectations, how many of the Senator's representing South East made half the impact of Ekweremadu. Some of our Igbo brothers are hypocrites they accuse another of selfishness while becoming a Judas, this is exactly the reason why we are being trampled upon.

Ephemmm:

Must you hear everything at once? Until the killing of Osama, did you hear about the intelligent efforts being exerted by the US military in the public domain? It is only gullible like you that believe that security affairs is a matter that must always be in the public domain.

For your information, security is not about carrying guns and making unnecessary publicity which can further give the militant news clue about their mode of operation: it is about having intelligent information at hand that can lead to curbing the menace of such irreprehensible act.

How can a serious army be taking 'selfie' in the battlefield? How can a serious intelligence be posting ' we are now in sambisa' on facebook? This shows how level of maturity and things will continue like this until we learn.

If Jonathan has taken serious step from the onset, we would not be where we are today. insurgency is like a sore in someone's body: the earlier you cure it the better. Whether we like it or not, insurgency has gained ground since the days of Jonathan: if he has been serious the same way he was serious three weeks to the election, things could have been better than this.

May God help us.
good try, brother secrets are kept from you because they don't want you to know the true story, of course completely bought the fact that Osama bin Laden was killed by America, but let me tell you this, Osama died long before or probably still alive. America has no clue of his where about. So don't even tell me you were fooled by this latest lie on Boko-Haram

Dannyset:

I never talked about amnesty and I will never will. And I never said the bombing should stop either. Now tell me, those who were protesting against BH killing in the South East, what did u think they are doing? They are simply sending a message that the killing is bad and it's not acceptable. These are ways u can also fight the menace and at the same time not stopping the bombing.
What PMB did their was to condemn the act and also carry it to the mosque to openly preach against it. What u hav bn doing on NL is to preach against it. U hav never carried a gun to fight against it. PMB is slow towards it, I agree, but what he did wasn't out of order.
ok let's give up the fight to find a common ground, I can we are on the same part but fails to agree with each other, Am not falling to their trick. He preached that because some Muslims were slaughtered at the mosque, what was his past statements, moreover we preach here on NL because we are civilians so if you want civilians to carry arms allow them the use of arms or arm them yourself.

Brother abeg check all our argument and tell me who mentioned or talked about amnesty. Stop fooling around.
really, low cunning lunatic. Of course I checked and your very last comment tried to say that every necessary method has been adopted and non has worked and how you translated the latest Buhari's statement to be an effective tool. Who are they fooling when he had the time to preach against it he never did and instead he indirectly promoted it. You talk of truth didn't you, main the truth and not mixing things up
Politics / Re: Why Tinubu, Akande Boycotted APC NEC Meeting by ChikezieU(m): 5:06pm On Jul 04, 2015
No sir, they boycotted the meeting because they are no longer in charge, some people from the North has high jacked the party while some one is sulking. Next time if there will be next time he won't draw plan to wrestle power without clues on how to manage them. Who ever thinks he can dictate for the Notherners is a fool
