I know her, she will mistake my kindness as an attempt to woo her back. She takes things for granted a lot & I've already vowed never to spend a dime on her prior to our encounter at shoprite. I'll never woo her back but if she shows enough remorse I might consider her and it would be strictly based on mutual respect
well i hope it works for you,

What do you think her feelings for me now, will be like? Will she hate me with me with passion or regret how she treated me ab initio??
you bid her good bye for good, true she messed you up but trust me you will later regret that act. You loved her and still does, i hope you don't try to woo her back cause she will make you pay worse although God has the final say. You would have played nice even if u didnt pay for perfume atleast finish up nice show by lifting her, she knows u r no fool and will still respect you more. Atleast it would have helped to put ur mind to rest cause you still love her.

Education / Re: Top Reasons While IMT Students Love The School by ChikezieU(m): 12:05pm On May 01, 2016
Imt is sweet but bitter for the lazy
sweetboiy:

1 You will ask your friends..how far
with reading? They say they haven’t started…only for you to get to
the library and find out they
have a permanent seat.

2 If you think true love and a virgin is the only thing that is hard to find, try
looking for your Academic Adviser, HOD or Director when you need his signature on a form or on your file.

3 In IMT you don’t need to go far for any workman. right in your lodge, you have student(s) that is/are electrician, painter, carpenter, designer, plumber and even intra-campus keke driver.

4 IMT Computer Science students can configure free browsing on small Nokia
torchlight phone and install whatsapp on their room televisions.

5 You get to class as early as 6.30am especially in ur ND1 First Semester only to see that all seats have been occupied with bags, lip-sticks, books and other belongings. You start asking yourself if ghosts are offered admission too.

6 You have already prepared food but to eat it is another obstacle because you
are already late for lectures.

7 Lecturer: Only 10 students in
class today? Tear a sheet of paper for your quiz, turns to the board to write but before he turns back, the class is full to the brim.

8 Come to Night Class during exams, you will see different levels of
reading -scaning, skimming, jaking, craming and lots more.

9 It’s always funny when exam
supervisor says SUBMIT!! And many
students suddenly develop that
super-human ability; answering
3hrs question in 50seconds.

10 IMT girls have different categories of boy friends viz Quiz boy friend, Exam Boyfriend, Agbugbu Joint Boyfriend, Assignment Boyfriend and even Keke driver Boyfriend.

11 IMT lecturers can teach on Saturdays, Student’s week, Ash Wednesdays and even on December.

12 Inside campus, you will see tens of students with nicknames like 001, Rector, HOD, Campus 1, Campus 3, PaPa, Configure e.t.c.

IMT sweet die!

The same governors that worked with yaradua also worked with GEJ. How come they didn't harass yaraduayaradua? How come they couldn't force OBJ? Soludo confronted NOI below

“I hereby challenge your attempt to blame others for not saving for the rainy day. It is not a virtue when you are quick to appropriate all the credit when things are going well, but shift the blame when they go wrong,”

You blame the state governors, who, according to you, have taken the federal government to the Supreme Court – not that a Supreme Court judgement forced your hands. For your information, the governors have never agreed to savings and always threatened court action even under Obasanjo. Why did we save under Obasanjo but not under Jonathan? Two keywords explain it: leadership and integrity.”

http://leadership.ng/news/408685/soludo-fires-okonjoiweala-n30trillion-stolen-watch

It wasn't any law that made GEJ and NOI not save....it was simply a lack of political will and she's now bold enough to admit the truth.
two key words "rascality" and "rule of law". Pick one

Was there no opposition to savings during obasanjo's time? How come they saved?

Soludo said political will and character.

Now NOI has come out also to confess political will.

Whom should we believe? Soludo and NOI or Anonymous you?
thats not the reason for you to see respect for rule of law as cluelessness, you should be calling on the rascality of the Governors not the Presindent seeking for second term not knowing he would be betrayed

Properties / Re: Aluminium Vs Asbestos Roofing Sheets. by ChikezieU(m): 8:20am On Mar 06, 2016
Aluminiun is better, but except for fire resistance and long life span of asbestos, aluminiun is better cause as asbestos is aging its particles(on the surface mostly) starts to fall apart which is dangerous, the particles may find its way into ur mouth or eyes mostly by fetching water from it. My conclusion is go for a high gauge aluminuin it last long as its durable, but in areas prone to fire asbestos is best.
Religion / Re: The Tri-unity Of God And The Work Of Salvation. by ChikezieU(m): 1:30pm On Feb 29, 2016
ifenes:
There is no trinity. It was a lie cooked up by the Vatican. When the Bible was created in 325AD Constantine had 1700 Scholars help him create the Bible. Once the Bible was created 1400 Scholars violently rebelled the creation of this Book. Emporer Constantine had the 1400 Scholars Executed, the last 300 remaining Scholars agreed under the fear of death to create this book.

What happens next is absolute Sacriledge, the Spanish Inquisition was created, anyone who denied the Church and Jesus Christ was to be put to death, so free will was under attack again. Many men , women and children we burned at the stake, many mavericks , many spiritual Healers, many midwives, many scholars, many scientists, many great thinkers, for not accepting trinity and Jesus as their savior. I don't understand how this topic reached front page!
please any history book or source to prove this

I have enjoyed this topic longer than i expect, it has being intresting. One thing is to send a message another thing is to decode to ur understanding, so may rap it up by saying...behind a successful man their is a strong woman(wife or mother wether you acknowledge it or not) so both gender need each other to peform their responsibilities. Parents should not contribute to public nuisance by not educating them (both academics and home). Enough Money or not, build ur family give them the best u can and entrust everything to God. HAPPY SUNDAY

Well...you r right
Seventeen:
i dint miss anything. I know exactly what op is saying. His argument is that it becoming more of a waste of money to educate a girl since 'most girls' (whatever u guyz mean by dat cos i dont agree) will still look for rich guys to marry instead of being self reliant and make their own money. My argument is that there is more to education dan ending up being rich and all that. If we hv to ask dat ridiculous question op is suggesting we ask our female children b4 we decide and make up our mind whether to give our daughters education (so that it doesnt end up being a waste of money) then the same should be asked a male child too, cos as much girls who are out there looking for money with their 'bodies' after their parents hv supposedly wasted money to train them (as op put it), are also many guys who are also graduates looking for money who have resorted to 419, yahoo-yahoo, armed robbery, pimping, rituals and lots more. So i can safely say dat educating both males and females have the same risks and problems. Ur Male child who u spent money to educate culd still end up useless. The quest and obssecion for wealth is another issue on its own and it affects both sexes. The last thing that should be on the mind of a father or mother before carrying out any duty as a parent is ur childs gender. Just do ur duty as a parent, pray for ur kids whether male or female to make u proud, leave everything to God and hope for the best.

You missed the line the op is not against educating girls, moreover he said "most of the girls"... Not all
Seventeen:
God! What did i just read? I cant believe that In this age and time, young enlightened ppl like the op and those liking his post are of the opinion that educating a girl child is a waste. Plz parents, if u can afford it, educate ur girl child, theres more to education than ending up with a good job and getting rich. Infact may i use this opportunity and medium to celebrate my Dad as i always do, everyday of my life. We are 6 girls and our only brother who is the last and the only one still in uni. As a matter of fact we are the ones paying his fees now cos we hv asked our parents to relax and enjoy themselves. We are all graduates and am proud to say we are all outstanding in our various fields, some of us are professionals some are not, but thats not even the remarkable thing about us. I bet u, u would never meet a group of beautiful, smart, witty, confident sisters with very high self esteem like us. Infact when our husbands come together, the unknowingly talk endlessly about us and compare us like its a game of who married the smartest sister. I thank God for our parents that believed in us especially my Dad who never considered us lesser humans because we wr girls. We are not rich (that kind of world definition of rich) our husbands are not rich either but our parents are reaping the fruits of their labour. Even my uncles hv made envious statements to my dad on several occasions. I can tell u that he raised better children and is a prouder father than most of them who had more of boys. My friends always say that i cant hv a conversation without mentioning my dad, and its true because i just cant stop celebrating the man.

Abeg give ur children, whether boy or girl the best education u can afford, make una no mind op.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How I Messed Up Job Interview Today... Please Learn! by ChikezieU(m): 9:19am On Feb 06, 2016
Sorry
jayhumble:
I got a call from one of the telecom companies yesterday afternoon regarding an application I put in as far back as November last year. Anyway... Fast-forward to the interview. I woke up very early and prayed, cleanup and get set. Tho I'm a self employed software developer but who wouldn't want to work with a big telecom company or any government offer? I applied for Web Developer position and when I got there... I met about 5 other applicants; it took forever for the GM to show up since the HR teams said they can't proceed with interview without the authority of the GM. Since 8:30am when I got there... The GM didn't show up until 12:15pm...Well, I still didn't mind cuz I was enjoying the AC and free WiFi. All thanks to the front desk lady who gave me the WiFi password cool cheesy I was already crushing on the bae and hoping to y'knw get close once I get employed haha wink.... OK... Fast forward to GM arrival.
The GM checked the list of invitees and gave the HR greenlight to interview us. We were given a very technical online timed test and somehow it was just 2 out of 6 of us that made it to the interview stage cuz after the test, they told me and one other dude to wait behind while they told the other guys that they appreciate their interest blah blah blah we will call u talks (discharging them)
The HR team interviewed the last 2 standing and we both made it past the interview stage and then we were taken to the GM's office for final stage.

GM: Oh just two of you made it here...

Me & Guy: Yes sir

GM: Ok so do you have any past projects done by You? I want to see your past works on Web Development.

Guy: I didn't come along with my flash drive sir, I was hoping we would have our competency tested on company's system.

Me:.... Silent as I watch guy trying to bail himself out of the rope thrown to his neck!

GM: Oh you are not serious... You mean you never have a thought of coming along with you past projects? You wanted to convince us verbally? Oh no we don't work like that here... Go get your past project and come back next time.

(that leaves me as the last man standing meanwhile I have turned on my laptop and started digging out all the websites I built for people and all Web application jobs I ve done in the past from Java to php to ASP. Net and html css)

GM: Young man I see you are all set to present your competency. Let me see what you have to offer

Me: moved closer to his desk and showed him my works and he was quiet impressed. He called someone from the software support department to come and check me out and the dude asked me alot of questions you wouldn't know if you are not used to Web applications development just to know if I am truly who I say I am.

GM: Ok we have an on going project and I'll be glad if you can assist the software support department in executing the project cuz we don't have time.

Me: It'll be my honor sir. I have always have passion for software development and it would be a plus to exhibit my capability for this company

GM: so I'm sure you want big money for salary now

Me: I care more about skills and experience sir. Money will come anyway

GM: (he became very free and less official) We actually need 2 people but with your works so far I'm sure you can do both jobs cuz we need graphic designer and Web Developer and most of your websites comes with photoshopped graphic designs with the slides. I hope the owner of those jobs paid you well. You must be a big man ooo

Me: (Felt comfortable and lose guard my official mode thinking we were just gisting). Most of those clients don't pay me good, I didn't enjoy working for them

(Na so the man change everything for me and everything went 360 in a blink of an eye)

GM: Haha so that's how you will say someday that our company don't pay good and u don't enjoy working for us...

(Well, the rest is history...) he already had the Secretary preparing my employment papers so I can start on Monday but he halted everything and called the HR department in front of me informing them to source for a new Web Developer. The rest is history...

Lesson : Regardless how excited or confident you feel during a job interview, Do NOT EVER EVER tarnish your past employers or clients even if they made you go thru hell, just lie that you enjoyed them and wish you were still there....

Well I came back home in A very depressed mood and I thought I should help a potentially vulnerable person not to make such mistake.

I hope I feel a bit better after pouring my heart out.

Better teach ur kid the plain truth if you truly love her, than whipping up defence
covbrand:
When you educate a woman, you educate a nation. Irrespective of what happens after school, education is crucial to development, and who is better at passing knowledge than women. Most of you don't know how difficult mothering is, that's why you can talk this way. Not everyone is made to be career minded even most men aren't. So therefore what she does with her certificate doesn't matter, what matters is you give her quality education that YOU CAN AFFORD.
