John Adeyihas been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.The clergyman was kidnapped last Sunday evening around Okwungaga village in Okpokwu local government area of the state while returning from an outstation assignment.Adeyi’s abduction happened barely a week after the release of a medical doctor, Godwin Abah, who was kidnapped at his private health facility in Otukpo.Abah, a medical consultant with the Federal Medical Centre,Makurdi, was said to have regained his freedom shortly after his family paid N3million ransom to his kidnappers.Sadly, there have been several reported cases in recent times, of kidnap or attempted abduction of perceived rich people, especially in Okpokwuand Otukpo, two of the nine local government areas in Benue South senatorial district,as known as Zone C.Family sources said the abductors of the clergyman, who is also the parish priest of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Okpoga, headquarters ofin Okpokwu, had promptly demanded for N25 million ransom which they later reduced to N10 million.Adeyi’simmediate elder sister, Mrs. Mercy Adeyi-Onah said at the time of this report that the family had been in contact with the kidnappers who have cut their demand to N3 million.“We are praying and communicating with the abductors. We pray thatwe will be able to lay our hands on the money and give to them for the release of our brother. His life means much more to us than the money they are asking for,” she said.Mrs. Adeyi-Onah explained that the family was also in touch with the church which hasmobilised a search party into the bushes around the area where the priest was abducted to seek for his rescue.Daily Trust learnt that the kidnappers intercepted the cleric’s vehicle and at gunpoint brushed aside his driver, seized Adeyiand whisked him away.The area where the priest was abducted was enmeshed in violence that nearly snowballed into a communal clash only a week ago as suspected hoodlums hacked innocent citizens to death.Benue State police spokesman, Moses Yamu, who confirmed the kidnapping, said he was not aware of any ransom demand, adding that the police were working round the clock to rescue the priest unharmed.

Saraki just filed a case in court asking the CCT chairman to disqualify himself from handling his case due to the chairman's corruption case. Interestingly, Saraki has refused to resign or step side and face his prosecution in court for a case everybody knows he is guilty of, yet he keeps denying and telling gullible people that its all political witch hunting.
Well, the CCT chairman has no known corruption case against him and will obviously chairman the court proceedings to the end. We must fight and get rid of corruption if Nigeria will be great again!

After the man who accused the CCT chairman Justice Umar Danladi of asking for bribe from him and collecting same through his PA, failed to provide his phone for investigation and the Judge also said his own phone has been missing since 2012, EFCC under ex-President Goodluck Jonathan came to the conclusion that Justice Danladi cannot be prosecuted based on mere suspecion.So, those saying Justice Danladi is on administrative bail are liars. No case against him

It is already obvious that the useless Danladi Umar of the CCT is biased so I am not expecting any sensible judgement from him,he can as well deliver his Tinubu written judgment tomorrow for all I care.Unfortunateley for him and his paymasters, this case would still be adjudicated up to the supreme court before it is rested.

The main thrust of my argument which I am sure the supreme court will interpret very well is section 3(d) of the CCT act which was not complied by the CCB before rushing to the kangaroo tribunal

the sction stipulates;

Section 3(d) of the CCB Act states that: “The functions of the Bureau shall be ….to receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of this Act and where the Bureau considers it necessary to do so, refer such complaints to the Code of Conduct Tribunal established by Section 20 of this Act in accordance with Section 20 to 25 of this Act.

“Provided that where the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or non-compliance, no reference to the Tribunal shall be necessary.”

The CCB was supposed to get back to Saraki and reconfirm the declarations stated in his form. This was the same premise upon which Tinubu was freed.Danladi umar obviously acting out a script by his paymasters have already overruled himself on the Tinubu Judgement.But how these portion of the act is interpreted by the supreme court is what will finally decide the case
