watch what u put on, it matters alot. Dnt wear anythn that wl expose ur body.

Note that as u fast, everypart of u fasts.I urge us all 2 be steadfast in our worship.

Hey Lukmond, Ramadan is just lyk any other month, nothing lyk public holiday wld be observed. The public holiday Allah willn will be 4 Sallah, which Inshaallah will come up 11th or 12th, thats Thurs, so whenever the break comes up, u hv 4 days break,ok?

Dear Brother, Ramadan is a holy month set aside for fasting. Its a very Holy month whr all evils(spirits n Devils) are tied up  to allow a free flow of worship. Its a very rewarding month where each good act of worship is multiplied by 10 n subsequently multiplied into 100s, 1000s n infinity.  Its that same month that the Holy Qur'an was revealed.

The actual date of Ramadan depends on when the moonis sighted, if this month called Shaaban ends on the 29th,the new moon 4 the holy month would be sighted that nyt n  fastn will commence the follown day whc is 12th of September, but if its 30 days,the moon wl be sighted that day n  then ramadan wl commence the following day whc will be 13th of Sept. It all depends on when the moon is sighted ok.

So Ramadan will commence on either 12th or 13th of September. But ill be announced all over the Radios n TVs once the day is confirmed.

Any Kanuri chap here, itll be a pleasure to share the sweet cultures of our dear ancient city?

Ill rather accept if u say that the Hausas r more wen it comes to selling tea rather than drinking it.

Sum tribes prefer to take 'palm wine @ their leisure moments, others fura da Nono( a desert 4 the Fulanis), others Kunun Gyada( a desert for the Kanuris), so also shayi(Tea) 4 the Hausas as u prefer 2 say it.

Kanuris are highly respected people in Northern Nigeria. They are people that value very well their culture. Their ladies are excellent when it comes to caring for their men n cooking as well. They are usually called the Calabar gals of Northern Nigeria.

One difference they make is their pride that makes them 2 be despised by other Northeners, while it cld be so easy for a Hausa man 2 walk up2 his Neighbour n ask for somethn he doesnt have, a Kanuri man rather prefers to sweat n work as low as cutting grasses n selln them. To him the word beg is out of his dictionary. Am not sayn thy dnt beg, point of correction, they do, but 2 a great minimum.

Yes Sienna, i actually noticed that i hv a kind of a congestion when i eat Beans, u cn imagine. I saw my doc n he said its quite possible but that i shldnt stop eatn the Beans. Guess wat i did, i eat my Beans n take Franol immediately, or use the preventive inhaler first then eat my beans. Surprisingly am ok now, i eat Beans without any prevention.

But do u think that was a good advice thou am better of with it?

Av come across those inhalers as in the Blue one whc is the relievn one and also the preventive type. I guess i misused them then as a result of the constant usage n was stopped completely by my Doc, who diagnosed another called becotide, cld that be the purple u were tryn to say?

My attack is less frequent now that av really found out wat my allergies are. But being in an environment with different attitude towards the ailment, i decided to seek 4 mre advice.

U said its occurence is very rare, wat do u do wen it attacks u by the way?

Hi all,

Jst need ur advice. I am Asthmatic n my Doctors say i have a unique Asthma. Reason: While most people r triggered by Dust, Smoke, Cold etc, myn is trigerred by Heat. Most asthmatic patients, infact 99.9% of the patients hv wheezing sound in their chest when u listen to it but myn is absolutely silent.

The problem now is, only my Doctor knows my case and believes so. There r moments i hv an attack n doctors administer an entirely different treatment instead of the normal one. 4 that, i always move wt my inhaler so that the Doc can knw wat the problem is. Most tyms the delay knocks me off completely n makes me unconscious.

Cn u proffer any advice on how to  handle my case better.

You can save like #50K or thereabout, get a Bike and get a trusted one to be an 'Okada man'. Daily he'll bring a balance of #300, in a week itl be #2,100.
