[quote author=kay29000 post=61954007]100K bill? That is too much. My business is strictly online, and my laptop battery is strong, so I buy 1k fuel at the beginning of the week, and by weekend, I buy 500 Naira fuel extra...that's all. 1K5 fuel for the week. And I switch on the gen at least 5 hours daily. Please note that I use that small blue Gen (I Better Pass My Neighbor).[/qute] What's the nature of your business, lemme drag my mind back from were it is going. |
A suspect has been arrested in New York after people were reportedly shot by the driver of a car. Police said they made the arrest after responding to "reports of shots fired" near the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan. They urged people to avoid the area as a major emergency services operation was under way. Unconfirmed reports on social media suggest a man drove at cyclists in a cycling lane before opening fire. The suspected driver, 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov, had handwritten notes pledging his loyalty to the Islamic State terror network and shouted "Allahu Akbar" after the crash, law enforcement officials told Fox News. Saipov, who was shot by police, was taken into custody and remains hospitalized. The suspect had a green card, a source told Fox News. Saipov came to the U.S. in 2010, and, according to the Associated Press, has a Florida license but may have been living in New Jersey. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/world-us-canada-41825577

KADUNA – The governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El Rufai has vowed that no amount of threat from labour union would make his government back down from sacking the 22,000 teachers who failed competence tests and replace them with 25,000 new qualified ones. But reacting to the threat in a network radio interview in Kaduna, governor El Rufai said rather than threaten to go on strike, the NUT should be embarrassed by the incompetence of its members adding that “there is no bigger evidence of the crisis in our society than that a union whose members failed a Primary 4 examination thinks it can create problems over the issue rather than be a part of the solution. “Everybody knows that we will not be deterred in doing what is right for the future of our children. The NUT thinks this is about politics, making a public show of opposing what they know to be right. Shouldn’t everybody be embarrassed by the test results? Where is the sense of shame? I hear some people say the pass mark for a Primary Four exam should be 60%; the same people say the state government has no right to test the competence of its employees. There is no bigger evidence of the crisis in our society than that a union whose members failed a Primary 4 examination thinks it can create problems over the issue rather than be a part of the solution. ABUJA-THE Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Cardinal Onaiyekan, has said Monday’s sack of Mr Babachir David Lawal and Ayodele Oke, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, respectively by President Muhammadu Buhari was not enough by the president. He insisted that President Buhari must go beyond Monday’s sacking of Lawal and Oke by prosecuting them according to the country’s extant laws. The Cardinal said not going beyond their sacks would make other people susceptible to temptation of corruption knowing they can only be sacked from their positions after stealing.
