EME first lady, Niyola, who is still sad after she learnt that her 22-year-old friend Karabo Mokoena,
was murdered and burnt to death by her abusive ex-boyfriend, Sandile Mantsoe, in South Africa. Niyola, who took to her Instagram page to write on the importance of speaking out and walking away from violent situations, instead of lying to your family or friends about his evil, wrote;

"This is so hard for me but my friend would have wanted me to help someone through this . I have seen domestic violence first hand and I always stood against it but this time I will do what I can to pull as many people into this fight with me. This guy Sandile not only murdered My friend, he burnt her beyond recognition and had his mother and sister help him clean up . If not for the CCTV no one would have known.

Don't be fooled about anybody's supposed family / friend's support and pacifying. When it comes down to it, they will protect their own. Women I beg you, don't protect that man by lying to your family or friends about his evil , inhumane ways . Speak out !!!! If you know he is bad for you , don't say his family loves you ... RUN !This one has been charged with pre-meditated murder, and a bail hearing in 2 weeks but we won't rest till justice is served.

You too can get justice even while you're alive , and you can get your life back before it's totally lost. If your husband hits you, call the cops, or call someone you know and stop dying in silence. There is an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the World Health Organization announced Friday.

The epidemic, which is currently small, is in Bas-Uele province, near the northern border with the Central African Republic. To date there have been nine suspected cases, three of whom have died. The first case dates back to April 22.

Dr. Oly Ilunga Kalenga, the minister of public health, informed the WHO of the outbreak. Testing of samples from five of the sick was conducted at the country’s National Biomedical Research Institute.

The outbreak is caused by the Zaire species of the virus — the same strain that was responsible for the massive West African outbreak in 2014-15. In some respects, that is good news. A vaccine to protect against the Zaire virus was tested and found to be effective in the West African outbreak and supplies of it have been stockpiled.

The first teams of epidemiologists, social mobilization, and risk communication experts as well as specialists in hygiene and sanitation are expected to reach the outbreak setting by Saturday, the WHO statement said.



The Democratic Republic of Congo has experience containing Ebola outbreaks. The first known outbreak of the deadly disease occurred there in 1976, in Yamuku. A total of 318 cases were recorded in that outbreak, including 280 deaths.

The country has fought seven outbreaks before the current one; the most recent was between August and November of 2014, and involved 66 cases.

In the early days of the world’s experience with Ebola, outbreaks in DRC numbered in the hundreds of cases — which was large at the time. But the three outbreaks in DRC in the past decade involved fewer than 100 cases each.

The largest known outbreak of Ebola was the 2014-2015 West African epidemic. More than 28,600 people were infected and more than 11,300 died.

According to a Facebook page dedicated to Pastor Adeboye's of the Redeemed Christian church of God news, the Pastor who is currently in Bauchi State visit to the Emir of Bauchi's palace, was turned down by the monarch.

According to Stealth Scouts NG, Pastor Adeboye has only visited Bauchi State twice and that was in 1999 and 2004. The news site, also went further to disclose that while the Governor and deputy Governor of Adamawa State were present to welcome the General Overseer of RCCG when he visited the State, the Governor of Bauchi State was nowhere to be found when he visited.

Even Jesus Christ was rejected, so who is PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE that he can't be rejected in the Emir's palace or by the State governor?
This didn't deter PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE as he still used the opportunity to touch two churches within the state and even attended a wedding; hopefully the couple didn't meet on Facebook'.

She slayed right?

Coming after 82 Chibok girls were freed in exchange for Boko Haram prisoners on Saturday, the legal practitioner who stood as the negotiator, Zannah Mustapha, in her interview with Reuters alleged that some of the girls who are still Boko Haram enclave, refused to be freed.

He went further to disclose that some of the girls have been radicalized.

"Some girls refused to return. I have never talked to one of the girls about their reasons. As a mediator, it is not part of my mandate to force them to return home”he said

A former All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant, Blessing Agbomhere, who was expelled from the party for an alleged 'anti-party' activities, was beaten at the airport yesterday while on his way to Benin.

Blessing, who spoke to newsmen, accused the former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, of being the face behind the assault, as he had

Blonde model, Molly Cavalli, who took part in a glamorous underwater shoot was bitten by a huge shark. However she was brave enough to jump into the shark cage, to swim in the sea with the terrifying beasts in just a swimsuit.


But within seconds, the blonde model was left in agony as a shark broke through the wide bars of the cage and took a bite out of her ankle.

A terrified Molly screamed in terror and pain as she was quickly brought to the surface

Nnamdi Kanu yesterday, visited the Biafran cenotaph hilltop located at Ngwo in Enugu State.. The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, who was recently released after meeting his bail conditions, offered prayers to some of the fallen heroes that fought on Biafra's side during the civil war.

He was seen kissing the feet of Biafran fallen heroes at the Biafra Cenotaph.

“Nnamdi Kanu arrived Biafraland just now and has just finished praying to the Most High as the Cenotaph at Enugu.

“Mysteriously his convoy arrived at the Cenotaph exactly 12 noon to commence the prayers.

“Whenever Nnamdi Kanu enters Biafraland, he would first go to Hill Top Ngwo to pray at the Cenotaph before proceeding to his home to see his parents and his people. He has paid his customary homage to the memory of our fallen heroes”, a source hinted.

Earlier yesterday, we brought you reports of the fire incident at Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu's palace. We also reported that people are pointing towards the 'snub' incident, that happened between the Oba of Lagos and the Ooni of Ife.

The spokesperson of the Ooni's Palace, Moses Olafare, who described the incident as a sad one, disclosed that the Ooni, Enitan Ogunwusi, is not happy with the fire incident.

Premium Times also reported that Moses went further to disclose, that the only thing they can do is to sympathize with the Oba's palace.

“We are not happy over the fact that the palace of Lagos king got burnt, we can only sympathise with the palace on the development.

“People are entitled to their own views. But what people say doesn’t mean that is the position of the palace.

“What happened is mere coincidence and should not be traced to the incident in Lagos, we send our sympathies,” he added.
Recall that there was a statement credited to the Ooni of Ife's palace, in which it was alleged that the Ooni's palace will all upon the Spirit of Ancestors on the Oba of Lagos if he fails to apologize, a statement which Ooni of Ife threw out as untrue.

President Buhari's media aide, Tolu Ogunlesi, who is also Head of Digital Communication for the Nigerian President, has slammed @Blacktolive, a Twitter handle which celebrates anything concerning black excellence, for celebrating Esther Okade, a 13-year-old British-Nigerian who is set to earn her PhD by 2018.

Esther Okade came to limelight in 2015, after a CNN report revealed that the British-Nigerian youngster was one of U.K's youngest college freshmen, after she enrolled at the Open University, a UK-based distance learning college, in January 2015 at the age of 10 and was on top of her class.

Tolu Ogunlesi who took to Twitter to disclose how he feels about Esther Okade's celebration on Black to Live, said that he sees nothing worth celebrating there, and further asked what a 13-year-old will be doing with a PhD.

Ex-Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, who was a guest on "The Platform", a church programme that is held every year in Lagos, told Nigerians that he has worn one watch for over 17 years. According to him, why will he keep a watch at home, 'whose time is it keeping' he asked.

Nigerians who never believed this, dug out photos which confirmed that the ex-Governor has worn different watches before now. A 47-year-old fake police officer, Gregory Anyasodo, from Owerri North, Imo State who was arrested by operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command for extorting people in Oshodi area of the state, has confessed to collecting N125,000 from one of his victims, a trader in Oshodi.


The unsuspecting victim, Emmanuella Joseph, had approached RRS officials stationed in Oshodi to report Anyasodo’s threat to arrest her and confiscate her hand bag containing N125,000.
A search around the area led to the arrest of the suspect and the recovery of a radio that looked like a walkie-talkie and a police identity card, which portrayed him as an Inspector with the number 14873, attached to Lagos Taskforce and Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

Confirming the crime, the suspect acknowledged seizing the trader’s bag. He said:

“I have been in the trade since December 2016. I came to Lagos before Xmas in preparation for The Lord’s Chosen convention in Lagos, which was held in February, 2017 at Ijesha.

My early coming for the programme was for me to seize that opportunity to look for job in Lagos. When I couldn’t get a job, I ventured into impersonating the police.
I have been arrested 6 times in Owerri for impersonating WAEC and JAMB officials. I am a father of six. I left my wife with six children when I was coming to Lagos. I have been sleeping in hotels since I got to Lagos.

I make between N10,000 to N15, 000 daily parading myself as police officer and extorting innocent people. What I do is move closer to them and tell them, mostly traders.

I show them my identity card and I threatened to invite my colleagues if they failed to settle me. I am sorry, I have not sent a dime to my wife in Owerri to take care of the six children I left in her possession but occasionally, I call her."

Yesterday, one Opemititi aka 'Queen Stunner' was accused of being the one behind Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe's alleged marriage crash. The lady was accused of having an affair with Mercy's husband, Lanre Gentry.

The lady's niece has already reacted to the report via @subdeliveryman, claiming that her Aunty is not a hoe, as she will be getting married soon. She also disclosed that Queen Stunner, and Mercy Aigbe are good friends. However she confirmed that Queen Stunner, has saved Mercy from being beaten by her husband.

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja 11), has disowned a statement credited to his palace on what happened between him and the Oba of Lagos. The Ooni who restated his respect for the Oba of Lagos in his statement said;

Friday disowned a remark credited to one Tunde Awoyemi who claimed to be the palace Director of tourism that the palace of Ooni would invoke the wrath of ancestors on Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu if he fails to tender apology for snubbing Arole of Oduduwa at a public function recently.

Ooni Ogunwusi insisted he would continue to hold Oba of Lagos in high esteem and continually give him respect not only as one of the foremost traditional rulers, but also as an elderly Oba.

In a statement issued by Oba Ogunwusi's director of media and public affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare, "the palace of Ooni is using this medium to dissociate Ooni of Ife from the statement credited to Mr Tunde Awoyemi and we have said it repeatedly that we have no official reaction to the issue of Oba Akiolu".

"Kabiyesi Ogunwusi is committed to his peace and unity agenda, which he has embarked on since he ascended the throne of his forefathers. We refrain from reacting officially, with a view to avoiding fanning any ember of discord as Oba Akiolu remains​ respected monarch and the Ooni had established a very robust and healthy relationship with him before his installation as Ooni of Ife".

"While Ooni would continue to sustain the relationship with Oba Akiolu, we want to state categorically that the remark credited to Tunde Awoyemi was not authorised by Ooni and should be disregarded by all Nigerians both at home and in diaspora".

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan's spokesperson, Reno Omokri, has reacted to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu's release. Reno took to Twitter to disclose how relevant Nnamdi Kanu is in the lives of Nigerians, shading Joe Igbokwe, who is Lagos State APC secretary.

Recall that Joe Igbokwe has has written epistles before now, blasting Nnamdi Kanu for coming up with the Biafran idea again, years after civil war.

Earlier today we brought you reports that Mrs Taiwo Titilayo Momoh, was arraigned in an Ebute Metta Magistrate court for attempting suicide by jumping off 3rd Mailand Bridge, and was granted 500K bail. Reacting to this report, Ex-President Goodluck Spokesman has slammed the 'state' government for the arraigning the lady in court.

According to him, it is an archaic law that is against the principles of natural justice and needs to be taken off our statute books.

He further wrote;

"A government that does not care if Fulani herdsmen kill us has the guts to charge a woman for attempted suicide! Are they angry she cheated herdsmen off her life? This is a tragedy of justice! They have not charged the killers of pastor Eunice Elisha who was killed in Kubwa, 15 minutes from Aso Rock Villa.

They have not charged the killers of pastor Eunice Elisha who was beheaded in Kano in broad daylight. They have not charged the killers of Southern Kaduna minorities. But it is Mrs. Titilayo Momoh who is overburdened by a debt she can't pay that they can try for attempted suicide. What a hopeless government!"
