I don't need to go searching for others with varying opinions on Jesus death because I know that SOME exists amongst the Islamic religion just as SOME Christians do not believe in Jesus' crucifixion. But others reading this post can research on SHEIKH IMRAN HOSEIN a Muslim and scholar on Islamic studies who preached Islamic and also led Islamic prayers at the highest governing body in the World-The UNITED NATIONS for 10 years!!! and see his popularity, publications, international exposure and learned level on Qur'an and Islamic studies and find out he must definitely have followers which justifies my use of SOME MUSLIMS which is hard for some people to admit (maybe on a public forum) I understand either ego or blind defense of religion which is popular across various stauch Religious adherents. It's OK, it's difficult to be fully open minded on belief systems especially on religions matters. I understand the blind defence and refusal to accept publicly that some things exists even with proof as sometimes it pierces foundations of one's Faith. But it doesn't mean you should change your belief but open enough to come to terms @least within oneself that the reality exists while still maintaining what you choose to believe. |
AntiChristian:My point all along is some belief otherwise, which you are struggling not to admit ![]() I am not forcing you to change your belief, just to see for yourself and admit(within yourself if not on a public forum due to ego) that DISCREPANCIES THAT ALIGNS WITH CHRISTIANS EXISTS AMONGST SOME ISLAMIC RELIGION PRACTITIONERS THAT JESUS(ISA) WAS CRUCIFIED so you don't come to a Christian thread to kinda mock their crucifixion and death belief of Jesus as though the Islamic religion is 100% in unison, when infact some are not as proven with my video for the rest of Nairalanders reading in future. you are the one that seem to be in denial here and thus subtly promoting bigotry , for denying popularity and learned nature of the islamic Scholar with publications and international exposure, desperately using English grammar nuances, accusing me of "holy spirit" revelation, despite my physical proof, now "bigotry".. I have brought proof but you struggle with it with obvious deflections.. |
AntiChristian:Lol.. keep on the denial. At least others can see it. I also posted his popularity and fellowship with images and links. So others reading the thread know it will definitely be more than 1 Muslim who believe in such. For someone with such popularity, publications international relations and a prolonged Islamic studies, You and I know it can be inferred he will definitely have followers. And there are others sheikhs out there. You don't need to mask your disgust or bitterness for such belief by denying it doesn't exist amongst some Muslims that some believe Jesus(Isa) was crucified. Just as some Christians in the 2nd century believe Jesus was never crucified and another person was in his place.Yes I agree some Gnostic Christians believe he wasnt crucified and despite that, I don't agree with them, I don't struggle to deny the reality that they exist like you're doing with yourself and Islam. But its OK, some people try to project oneness and unison of one's belief in a public forum to defend it against another even if one know personally that differences exist within. |

Truthseeker10:Did you not see where I also wrote: "Jesus is a Son of God as found in the Bible"? |

@op you have a point, it's always worth reflecting on. I don't believe It seems complex and can easily be explained fully. I believe it is complex and can only be explained to a certain point and the rest is just believe by faith. thus it's a Mystery. Mystery of singularity of Jesus' identity. Jesus is a son of God as found in the Bible and just like the rest of us humans in a literal form. We're all children of God-both sons and daughters of God. But somewhat Jesus is a SPECIAL kind of Son who came directly from God without the sin of Adam and need not any form of baptism unlike the rest of us. 2)Heavenly Beings--Their possessed abilities aren't usually associated directly with God's unique Almighty prowess, Authority and Power, like wielding a sword, appearance and disappearance of Angels, praise singing, messengers, etc Yet Jesus still possess unique Godly abilities only attributable to GOD: forgive sin, raise the dead, rose from the dead himself, conquered hell, can authoritatively answer ones prayer, calm storm, professes the Godly word "Before Abraham, I Am", Only sinless human ever existed as confirmed in the Qur'an as well,etc.. I leave it as a Mystery of God's doings that can't be fully explained. |

MrEar:Word!! "Anything that is true stands the test of time" |
AntiChristian:1. he obviously has followers and adherents and you know this and how teachers and preachers operate across religions lines. 2. The fact the thought exists shows he may not just be the only one, he's just a pointer to others sheikhs or private believers who may exist. everything can't just be on the internet or probably out of my reach. 3. Dont reduce the obvious physical reality and possibility to some English nuances and linguistic semantics just to feed your ego to be right. |
![]() CorrectionFLuid:"can't even use it properly" ![]() |
MrEar:-Standards that has been in use by other faithfuls? without new insight or additionals Standards that hasn't stood the test of time? Is that how Jesus operates His standards? Especially on standards he initially opposed? What a standard! |
EmperorIsaac:Lol.. To be fair to him, He didnt give a particular day or hour. He merely reduced the time horizon to a measurable estimate. ![]() |
