Ojukwu wrote in the condolence register that Awolowo was the greatest President Nigeria never had.

In my case, I'm alive and and strong, but it may be from the above that I am the greatest teacher, or pastor, that Nigeria has missed.

Those people are great at explaining.

Retiring as a classroom teacher/ pastor or passive lecturer could also be in the books.

Boomer stock
It's done over 300% in 1yr
~50% in past 6months.(excluding dividends)

It still matches or bests most of the chosen riskier, volatile growth, and so called higher rewarding assets in Ngx.

But I get you though, you probably seem to enjoy the thrill of stock movement or latest trends. I thought sth big was inherently wrong with the stock.

Correct observation.

Going forwards, If the results turnaround steadily towards growth, with dividends streaming as promised in the rights marketing, the price will continue to resist falling.
Quite hilarious.

Now it's being resisted from coming down.

Ok we are watching, this wiskid of a guy , since the day he disrespected fela ,I just hate his wack music the more.
heard seun kuti and his sister was Insulting wizkids parents continuesly on stage before the provocation got to him.

I don't know how true, but I won't blame him entirely if the story is true.

I think he was just trying to get back at Seun aura for aura and fell into their Trap.
Cuz Seun kuti knows the value Nigerians place on their Father. Knows how the backlash on Wizkid will be.

Probably why Wizkid delayed till reply him initially. But unfortunately, he couldn't stand it.

If Seun kept his beef to Wizkid and Wizkid alone, then Wizkid outburst should be blamed 100% for stepping out of line.

Heishere:
The reason NCR is skyrocketing is because of future earning capacity. CBN released a circular that banks must have 1 ATM per 5000 cards by 2028. This means that there will be a proliferation of ATMs across the country soon, hence more revenue for NCR. It is also going to cost banks. The degree of the cost to banks will be determined by the deployment model they choose I believe. I don't why our regulatory frameworks are backward and always summersaulting.
Going by the recent Q4,2025 loss.

I assume:
They contract these deployment and maintenance services out whenever there's a requirement.
And they may not have a substantial dedicated team.
COGS almost always at par or exceeds revenue.

NCR still have low margins from the top line. Even loss on Gross profit like recent Q4.

They haven't proven that cost of maintenance, deployment of services of the Machines are harmonized and thus scalably cheap with more deployment.
Which isn't healthy.

eps for q4 2025 is a loss of about N4

The stock NCR moved from loss to profit in the FYE and made good revenue...
That's something
Also considering the OS which is just 108M, with the substantial shareholder's holding over 73% of it, I don't really see them releasing it just like that.....

dapix:
See the financials of a N200 per shares company, it is well with us in this market o!!!
Proof of supposed NCR "Magic" (my perspective)

POINT 1
NCR moved from -₦20 to +~₦2 that's technically a +~₦22 EPS jump.

A substantial amount of its losses for 2024 FY was FX realised-losses NOT company operations.(check again).
NCR Q4, 2024 EPS alone was ₦4!! the FY 2024 losses diluted/downplayed the significance of this ₦4 EPS alone.
Pointing to a brighter 🔆 2025.

POINT 2
By my estimate on average in NGx:
A company with an EPS of ₦2 with a MOAT status and between 1-3bn OS will be trading at average of
x10<-->x15 of EPS.

Therefore, A company with an EPS of ₦2 like NCR with a MOAT status and with 0.1bn-0.3bn OS should therefore be trading at least average of x10 of x10 of EPS of those within 1bn-3bn OS= x100 EPS grin
Hence ₦2 EPS = ₦200 share Price grin
(The "scarcer" the share, the higher the Share price proportionality principle; subject to free float grin).

POINT 3
Also, if NCR could make ₦4 in
quarter 4, 2024, it means it's normally projected annualized EPS aside FX losses should average ₦15-₦20 For FY.
Placing its share price between the x10-->x15 EPS range= 150-200 range.

The Almighty abracadabra of NCR from first principle...Proved grin

Let me just say it here so that e go leave my mind.

Since TOE entered Seplat I never get myself.
If I dey there when him dey plan enter, I for no gree make them let that man enter.
I for ask him to first arrange Transcorp into a good dividends paying company. No be to dey declare excellent result all year round then come dey pay kobo kobo dividend.

Transcorp don dey become jijo stock.
I think Elumelu id looking for that one company he can transform to be a cash cow to fund other businesses in Heirs Holdings and other sectors as Dangote has done with DangoteCem.

That cash cow has to be close to a MOAT or has a guaranteed minimum returns.

I think he has tried it with Transcorp Hotel, but not enough returns.
The next company is Transpower, hence the Listing but the debt in the sector isn't helping matters.
Transcorp is not a stand alone entity. It aggregates the net returns of his holdings, which may not help matters.

Seplat being dual listed gives it international presence..
Guaranteeing returns to develop his oil assets and wells from Heirs holding as well as Heirs other subsidiaries(Insurance, TransAfam, etc).

Otedola has been doing it, latest with Geregu to fund Fbank. And in Forbes List.

BUA is doing it with both BUAfood and Buacement to fund his refinery and in Forbes list.
Dangote Did it with DangCem to create short-medium term liquidity fund for his refinery and in Forbes List.

Elumelu Probably need Seplat to transform Transcorp and other entities too as well as enter Forbes top list.

But he will need a further increase in his stake to 45%-50% with a higher dividend payout rate from Seplat to do the cash-cow magic for him with Seplat.

Just me, my conspiracy and I grin

Panadee:
Unfortunately, I can't edit the picture but the word corruption there is in quote oo! Lol
I believe Market Makers actions can be justified at times.
Though it's still subject to abuse. Not entirely defending them.

Take a case of PRESCO, when it was said that their farm was attacked few years ago or the governor has revoked their CEO.
These things can pull the market price down by retailers driven by panic or unverifiable news.. (except PRESCO was already a high cap stock with less liquidity)

Also, without MM, people can conjure news and spread, so as to pull a stock down or up.
Before any debunking by the Organization, it may be late or price takes time to claw back allowing the mischievous people to take positions while it lasts. This can also affect credibility ot NGX as a whole.

Also, I believe companies use their market price via Marker capitalization to drive businesses and win contracts as the case may be. If their "enemies/rivals" can cause undervaluation by taking SP down to create bottle necks in the contract negotiation process.. MM can rescue such companies.

Then again, a company might want to go into the debt market, via commercial paper or bonds and present a forcasted market return, sell their forecasted enterprise value using market capitalization amongst other metrics to get a favourable Interest rate and get a buy-in from creditors..
....It will be fool-hardy if the share price rises up to the forecasted price before the deal is even made.. This can happen due to leaks and tip offs, driving the share price higher before the debt is even deployed issued and deployed to create organic growth.

MM working on be-half of the company will have to depress their share price that is rising or tending to rise to prevent retailers affecting their business operation strategy through inorganic rise in price.

In this cases, I think the MM are correcting the price rather than manipulating the price.

These are just my assumptions

But I get that abuse also coexist. It's how to regulate it that matters for NgxRegCo.

Who produced the cars and gadgets? Roadside technicians or graduates?
Unfortunately, the production aspect is not applicable in this part of the world, especially when it comes to sciences, tech and medical.
And this is majorly why people school, to make money via production.
Unfortunately, most end up in maintenance just slightly above vocational skills(if-at-all)
Comparing cost of acquiring as well as career-pay-package for both,
The financal commitment doesnt make schooling justifiable compared to vocation.

Unless one goes to uni just for awareness or literate sake.
Which unfortunately is not the case for majority.
People go for much more that.

Last year they earned N16.71 and paid out N2.50 as dividend; That's approx 15% pay out ratio. This year I am estimating that they will earn N10.67. Using the same pay out ratio I am expecting N1.60 (remember they didn't pay interim). Given my entry price of N22.90 I am looking at a yield of 7%.

Now, it is also very possible that with all the forbearance issues clarified and the Macro economic environment looking positive, they might decide to pay out more. After all retained earning is up about 40% from last year (N28 per share).
Last yr bumper pay from Banks na capitalization effect.

This yr for Access na still Dividend competing with Acquisition spree..

No assurance.
