So I just lost interest and stopped & following. Didn't know it had risen again to as high as 13% Ok. No indication earlier. Hence, didnt know the context you were coming from. Noted. |

mikeapollo: If you have the money, buy as much of Oando as you can. But you have to be patient until at least next year. The gain will be massive when they declare their results for FY2023 Oando has had some governance challenges in the last 10 years or so in the board room (management/shareholders), SEC troubles, forex losses and interest on loans etc. that affected their performance in the past. They seemed to have turned the corner with the declaration of profits in FY2021 and acquisition of ENI/NAOC which could be a gamechanger. Also, a look at the share prices of its peers on the NSE....that should tell you that OANDO can potentially sell between N500-100 in the next few months, especially when the buyout offer is rejected at the AGM ordered by the court. ₦500!! Fear God nah |

falcon01: OK its nothing serious though but let me put it this way, you can flog me with wires or even cut me the first hit is very painful the second hit is also painful but not as the first and the third not as the second then in your mind you disconnect from your body, there is this rush you feel you can feel this chemical taste in you mouth flowing from your head through spine to your nose to the ridge of your mouth and you feel a certain urge to cough its not that you won't feel the pain but it kind of feels normal at some point it starts feeling good. Now I'm not saying its thesame as burning yourself but what I'm saying is some certain pain can be ignored or enjoyed. Weird..but i get you.. I have also seen some one and few others, bring down hot cooking pot from fire with bare hands.. A pot cooking for almost 2hrs or more sef! Kind of heat resistant folks.. |

In another perspective on the merger document The statement "new ordinary shares of DSR" in both cases, emphasis on "new"This signifies DSR has swallowed the shares of the others and now the King Cobra 100%. |

phoinix: Not the same thing. If I had 100,000 units of sugar before restructuring, my new sugar will be 69,900 units. My units will be diluted, but the listing price of 100 naira will boost the value of each stock above what it is right now. Hmmm.. tend to agree with you somewhat. since they officially called it a merger.. Integration of others will naturally dillute ones controlling share Otherwise its outright buyout. DSR buying out two other companies.. |

yMcy56: Oga Customs check well...... The result was released and dumping started down to 24.40/24.60 before it reversed mainly due to the merger news. I can remember full offer @27.20 or so, the following day, it went further down. I picked small @27, 25, and hoping to be picking down the lane.....but the news came 2 days later, then it made U-turn up....
Result released on 30th July... Merger news came on 1st Aug..
I can remember you hinted us before result was released anyway. The hint and insider activities took it to above 30 before result came. You tried sir. Heard of Merger before the result though . Remember I referred you to the speculations done mid-July betwn Customstreet and Pa Emma way before 2nd Quarter released results... Maybe you are referring to the official notifications on Ngx by each merger company.. |

kolaish: I beg to disagree though. The outright removal of subsidy was a big mistake from the present government. The government was just too much in a haste and messed it up. Subsidy removal without local refining to reduce the cost of AGO and PMS is a blunder. The presidency should have partnered with Dangote Refinery to resolve the issue before taking that decision. Think of the colossal loss caused by the high cost of diesel for the manufacturing sector, viz-a-viz the high cost of transportation caused by removal of subsidy on PMS on the cost of living of the people. If the government is not careful in reducing the effect of subsidy on the populace, then they are sitting on a time bomb.
Remember what sparked and started the arab spring; Mohammed Bouazizi burnt himself in Tunisia and boom, all the arab nations were on rampage. Nigerians are just waiting for a spark and then......
It seems you have forgotten how the endsars movement crippled the economy. Don't ever under estimate what the people can do. Not really a mistake to me... They needed to test reality.. See outcomes for themselves, both loopholes and actual price of products as someone said above.. All these while before subsidy removal, it's just projection of prices by experts in various sectors and probably over bloated payments of subsidies in some sectors..now reality has shown where it's been too much and where it's been too little. If they go back, there should be major fixes. Federal University intervention is gone with students loan in place, etc. Subsidy payment won't be that much I believe and streamlined to few essentials. Otherwise as @Agbalowomeri said.. It's finished!! |

Workch: I don't think that engagement is constructive. It will never make any sense to me that Nigeria cannot pay more than 30k minimum wage It's constructive from my end.. He used facts without calling out any politicians or insulting names or any form of bias.. Simply known facts he used .. You only had to show or indicate your fact or reasons are more superior than his.. Caveat: I also don't agree with him that our population is a yard stick why we can't pay more than #30k minimum wage- (Quantity)Nigeria can pay much more than twice if we cut loopholes.. Though I tend to align that population is a strong contributing factor in Quality delivery and sustenance of Dividends of Democracy in Nigeria.. |

VeeVeeMyLuv: My dear you won't understand, things are getting worse. People no longer move about because they can no longer afford the most basic needs such as Transport fare, transporters hardly see customers these days, in all these, earnings remains the same.
If they can't move about, how can productivity be facilitated? How can they go to farms? Won't there be food insecurity? Ooh Oh, I now get.. These are justifying reasons why he he has to haul insults, even when called to order, if it was unintentional and out of frustration at first. Hope u will also understand if I call you names as well? It's cuz of those reasons you mentioned |
