Dsalvo:and you wouldnt allow the so called radical and Yoruba hater to go into the contest freely experience defeat for his unworthiness |
Godfullsam:u re just a political kindergarten that rides on sectional and myopic sentiments at the detriment of ur own growth. Those that hoped to feast on the Anambra state funds who were unfortunately from Obi's camp masterminded the various strikes and impeachment processes because Obi wouldn't allow them feast on the state resources they felt was their turn. Obi elevated and upgraded the Anambra state university making their workers earn more than their I UNIZIK counterparts a federal university till today. He upgraded health facilities, clinics and hospitals above national status. Amaku general hospital then was like obscured primary school and he upgraded and modernized it to almost a world-class hospital, a UNTH and their workers earning above their federal counterparts at Nnewi federal teaching hospital |
pedel:You must be in kindergarten to think Tinubu chosed Shettima of all people. The same northern power-brokers at the end of the day settled for Shettima and if you are knowledgeable in the power play and the politics of the north and Nigeria you should know what that means |
Dsalvo:the choices of others that resulted in preventing eligible voters from coming out to vote in Lagos to favour a particular candidate right? |

These were non residents whose visit to Anambra then ended at UNIZIK junction. I was a student then in UNIZIK and we were sickened by what we were seeing. Some people carrying coaltar in buckets pouring them along the edge of the road. However, what we never knew then was there were massive development going on simultaneously in the 178 communities in Anambra,. The UNIZIK junction mentioned is a federal road but that road is of no economic importance to the state. Obi ofcourse made sure that road was very motorable though we were expecting some beautification. From that UNIZIK junction there was a road by its side that goes to Eke Awka, market, Obi modernized that road from UNIZIK junction and getting to Eke Awka he dualized the road from Aroma junction up to Nkpor, almost 100km long which am not too sure about the length so do not book me for exaggeration. Then from that same UNIZIK junction down to Onitsha, the economic hub starts after Umunya and he upgraded that axis from Umunya down to Head bridge with a long double lane flyover at Nkpor and multiple flyovers at Upper Iweka. Obi changed the face of Anambra forever and I sincerely don't think any governor can ever equal his performance while leaving huge amount of money for the successive government with so many investments and assets |
Ruthless70:Obi is definitely not a saint but he managed the cleanest administration in the history of Nigeria governance |
dangotesmummy:because he is working for the north and spoiling the southern chances |
Chimok:Shettima is the northern choice |
Tinubu supporters how far |
It's a long time fact that Yorubas have this palpable fear of Igbos. They have this eternal fear that Igbos given any slightest opportunity will forever dominate everyone. Is this fears and concerns true? Been an Igbo man with a sound historic knowledge of the Igbos past and present, I definitely plead to differ. The average Igbo man loves freedom and wouldn't want to be caged or limited by anything or anyone. He wants a level playing ground where he can favourably compete and showcase his prowess and what he got. In doing this, he would always want yo carry others along and this penchant to carry others along is the biggest problem of the Igbo man because the leadership of the other divides do not want that. They are used to dominating their people. In the ancient Yoruba and most northern kingdom's there are wide divide between the leaders (rich) and the commoners. The commoners are majorly meant to eat the crumbs or wastes from the rich. They were eternally meant to serve the rich. In most of these kingdoms you have families that have held the position of chief servants for many generations and this applies to other positions link chief cook and even the smaller positions. These practices were infused with deities and traditions that they were created in such ways that anyone that goes against those committed sacrilege and it became the cultures of these kingdoms that no one dared alter them. These kingdoms were centrally-controlled The Igbos on the other hand due to their nature for freedom wouldn't allow such practices. Historically, everyone has equal say and rights in the society. No one lords it over another. Administrations were organized in groups of organizations where anyone who wishes to be part can belong to as long as u meet the requirements. These organizations were split in hierarchies but works together under checks and balances to avoid domination of any sort. There were no Obas or Emirs or Igwes(kings) that control the rest of the people. Thats the meaning of Igbo enwe Eze(Igbo doesn't have king) One of the biggest problems faced by colonialists in governing the Igbo people was lack of central administration which were readily in place in Yoruba, northern and other kingdoms even among the minority tribes. The amalgamation of the nigerian territories and the other kingdoms having come in direct contact with the Igbos and their ways and tradition created serious concern among the leadership of the other various kingdoms. They didn't want the igboman's ways and tradition to affect theirs, the colonialists as well didn't want such. To be continued or anyone with historical knowledge can continue from here |
It's really sad and very unfortunate seeing some youths supporting APC out of tribalism and sectional sentiments. Sadder that most of these APC supporters are poor people whose future are continually mortgaged by bad leadership which has become the hallmark of APC administrations |
I hope he will be strong enough to be even sworn in before he finally tires out. I think Northern plan is already working out |
As he has gotten what he wanted which will fortunately be withdrawn, he is no longer claiming to be for the people. People have as at today continue to buy cash at exorbitant rates and the situation doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. |
How do one describe the helter shelter by APC goons in trailing every Obi's move to nail him. They vividly know Obi has the capacity and required evidences to claim his mandate and today they are more worried than ever. Obi will win his case before May 29 |
Chimok:I see Obi winning his case against Tinubu and APC in the shortest time |
They ve continued to run helter shelter, even frightened of any Peter Obi's Shadows. They ve become more scared of Obi now than even before the election |
What's wrong with Obi in continuation of a campaign he has transversed the length and breadth of the country asking Bishop Oyedepo who has became a friend in the same journey to rescue Nigeria and Nigerians from the demons that have continued to suck the life out of Nigeria to help him in his mission.. Is that close to Tinubu assembling fake bishops to endorse him or is that as bad as running on Muslim-Muslim ticket to get the northern votes. This country and her people are so sick |
trutharena:Nigerians are terribly sickened people, What is wrong with Obi in campaign continuation asking bishop Oyedepo who have made public his support for Obi |
There is no doubt the game plan of the north. Tinubu is obviously not in the equation. The plans are well laid out. Right from the primaries to the campaign proper, the naira-note policy, fuel hike and then the elections . The election and the results manipulations are all geared towards the laid out plans. We all know those around Tinubu can't do much for him. It has always been about the north and Shettima is the choosing one and if the worst comes to the worst, north will settle for Atiku. South should ve United behind Obi. This is what Obasanjo and Pa Adebanjo were all fighting against but those southerners mobilizing for Tinubu were either working for the northern plan or are simply political novices. |
Injera:Are your eyes paining u |
Chimok:at 87 Tinubu should be taking care of by relatives and not the one to now take care of over 250million Nigerians. |
Or the overdose they administered him to keep him fit during the campaigns have finally started its effect?. Make una leave Tinubu alone to enjoy his old age in peace |
Even after Obi has been schemed to the 3rd position, Tinubu men have continued to have sleepless nights over Obi's every move. Why are they not attacking Atiku who was given the 1st runner up and who has also gone to court in the bid to upturn the INEC's declaration |
As he was claiming during the campaigns about the old notes. He should ve immediately he was declared, would ve summoned Emefiele with immediate effect and tell him to cancel the policy among other compelling issues. Understandably, he wouldntbghat because he is a deadbeat president-elect |
God1000:so they would graze in people's farmlands. You ain't got sense chacha |
It's very funny and foolish at the same time for someone because of some tribal attachment claim we own Lagos. Even those who hardly see what they eat and those who have not left remotest part of Ekiti and those who even haven't been to Lagos are all laughably claiming we own Lagos because they heard so. The real Lagosians to me are those who own properties, businesses, investments in Lagos. Those are the ones who control Lagos in their own different ways and limitations. They have more rights. If a Yoruba lives in a rented apartment owned by an Igbo , been a Yoruba will not stop him from paying rent and been thrown out of the house under certain circumstances. So u youths should stop fooling around and get a life. |
Or are u waiting till the swearing in which may never come. I wonder if ur Urchinism is ever gonna end because that term describes hopelessness, poverty, joblessness, idleness, foolishness etc and that's the hallmark of Tinubu supporters.. |
Corona22:u re neither here nor there. Probably enjoying the attention ur little thread is generating |
Pat081:Dont be eternally immature and myopic. Igbos are travellers. They travel even to the core north where poverty have its headquarters. They go there, make all the money while the locals watch them enviously. |
CXLVII: |
Omooba77:Tinubu's evil and shadow is now chasing and tomentingbhim that he and his band of thieves now hallucinate. No hiding place for the wicked |
Tinubu if he finally succeed in becoming president which i feel the chance is becoming slimmer should really do something about the extreme poverty in the south western states of Ekiti, Ondo, Osun Ogun Oyo and some Yoruba dominated slums in Lagos. Outside core north, southwest is another region poverty is on the very high.side |
