Politics / Tinubu's Presidency Will Not Benefit Yoruba People In Any Way by Chimok: 8:25am On Mar 24, 2023
It will end in the regrouping of the elites, who gets this and who gets that. The average Yoruba as usual will not be part of any equation or considerations talk more of the poor. There will not be provision of basic amenities for the people but continuous siphoning of the commonwealth

Politics / Yoruba Youths Have A Lot To Learn From Igbo Youths For A Better Nigeria by Chimok: 5:52pm On Mar 23, 2023
In recent years, youths from Igbo extraction have been at the forefront agitating for a saner Nigerian society. The Nnamdi Kanu's led movement intensified because of bad governance. The bad governance worsened in 2015 immediately General Muhammadu Buhari took over as the number one citizen. Since 2015 till date there have been three excruciating recessions in Nigeria which are/were majorly due to terribly bad governance and these have deepened the poverty rate and other maladies in the country.

Igbos historically are known 'confronters' of societal failings and injustice. During the the colonial rule Igbos were majorly the only tribe that posed serious difficulty to the colonialists. Even Americans, Canadians, Indians etc all easily succumbed to the colonialists. It was in Igbo land one can hear of Aba Women Riot of 1929 etc.

Igbo youths have been maimed, incarcerated and killed for their struggle for a just society where everyone can live freely. As I stated before, IPOB movement led by Nnamdi Kanu gained prominence as a result outrageousl bad governance led by Muhammadu Buhari and within the period Nnamdi Kanu have raised the consciousness of his followers who are mostly Igbos. Someone like me hated the man Nnamdi Kanu so much because i saw him as a confusionist, an anarchist and warmonger. Something happened in my life that I had the time to listen closely to his crusades and movements . Through him I became much more enlightened about Nigeria and the entire Nigerian system. The ordinary Nigerians fighting him are doing that out of ignorance just like i was. His crusade is beyond Igbo's freedom. It extends to Nigerians, Africa and to the rest of the world. I personally see Nnamdi Kanu as a messenger of Divinity.

During the recent presidential campaigns and finally the elections Igbos in particular if we will be sincere for a moment can tell just want a better society not just for them but for all. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu once contested for the office of the presidency in 2002/2003. He failed to get reasonable support from the southeast because he didn't come up with a practical plans, objectives, solutions that will engender liveable and free Nigerian society and he failed in that ambition. Some other Igbo men have equally tested their prowess in this venture but failed woefully in the southeast. Peter Obi became the only Igbo man that got this support of the Igbo nation simply because he stood as the only candidate willing to risk it all by confronting this demonic system called Nigerian leadership. The leadership over the decades have perfected and continue to perfect the system they are running today which has nothing to do with religion or ethnicity but elitism - the superiority of the elite against the ordinary people of Nigeria. This is what Nnamdi Kanu's crusades and movements are all about to enlighten Nigerians for a New Nigeria

The New Nigeria have already begun and it needs the youths of Igbo and Yoruba to lead this movement. Igbo youths are already on. Minimal percentage of Yoruba youths are also on but needs larger percentage. A good percentage of Niger delta youths are also on.

This is our last chance to save this country called Nigeria.

one thing I have come to understand about this ob_dense movement is that they are easily swayed around ,but just like before as they have failed ,they will fail again .see them already loosing numbers and evaporating into the thin air.
Peter Obi has gotten all the numbers he needed and do not need them anymore. In his reclaimed Anambra mandate, everyone abandoned him on the legal process and he was the only one remaining with his legal team.
Obi at this point doesn't need the numbers anymore. All he needs is the legal team and he will surely claim this presidential mandate
Politics / Why Do Majority of Yorubas Diishonour The Selfless Yoruba Leaders by Chimok: 10:44am On Mar 22, 2023
The only leaders that enjoy maximum respect among the Yorubas, especially Yoruba youths are the corrupt ones that steal and destroy the destinies of these same youths.

Olusegun Obasanjo, Moshood Abiola,, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, even the young man GRV all mean well for the Yoruba nation and the Yoruba youths in particular but these youths have shown less respect to these humanists but decided to continue wasting their lives on the mandate of those who have continued to impoverish and make their lives living hell

Politics / What Are The Legacies Of Buhari As He Leaves Office by Chimok: 6:56am On Mar 22, 2023
I have thought Buhari would employ the recent election as the only and important positive legacy for Nigeria and Nigerians. There is no gain saying that Buhari's legacy is filled with negativities - sufferings, killings, acute corruption, irresponsibility, lack of direction, extreme inflation and under his watch, Nigeria experienced the worst election in the history of the country.
Buhari in my hunble opinion deserves life imprisonment where he would have one leg hung and be dangling upside down for the rest of his life.

Politics / Any President Of Southern Extraction Can Only Survive With The Help Of Igbos by Chimok: 7:08am On Mar 20, 2023
Right from history the Fulanis want to be in total control regardless of who is in power. For any southern leader to make any meaningful headway and progress he needs those that can confront and control these excesses. The Igbos from time have been the only tribe in nigeria that can confortably do that
The Yorubas in particular have this palpable fear around the Fulanis. Been significantly in Buhari's government, yet they couldn't make any meaningful impact or progress.
The major reason Buhari's government failed is simply not allowing the Igbos at the helm of affairs. Obasanjo and Jonathan ofcourse were well aware of this and thats why their administrations were practically ran by the Igbos

If eventually Tinubu succeeds in taking over from Buhari which is becoming slimmer by the day due to glaring evidences of gross manipulations of the electoral processes he can only compose his government with the Igbos practically running the affairs or he won't survive it

Peter Obi has single handedly pulled the Igbo nation decades back.

His singular irrational ambition has enthroned APC for at least the next 8 years if not 16. It has enthroned Muslim domination. Igbos have lost our at the center with no clear path of finding our way back.

Obi is the biggest loser in this election. Alex Otti in Abia state would have won even if he contested under Sowore's party. LP will only take Anambra state backwards. Soludo would be fighting more to stay then concentrate on working for the people. Obi is a dangerously ambitious he goat. There's greater polarization between Igbos and Yorubas. The worst since 1967.

It pains me because I'm igbo. No strong Igbo alliance in APC, PDP. The SS are taking our rightful position. The elections are over. We would go back to screaming marginalisation and Biafra while others reap from Nigeria.

Obi should never have happened and he should be taken down. His continued ambition is doing nothing but harm to the average igboman.

Politics / Those That Will Be Voting For Sanwo Olu Are The Real Enemies Of Lagos by Chimok: 8:23pm On Mar 17, 2023
There is no doubt Lagos has suffered terribly in the last 24 years. Lagos in those days was a serene city just like the modern cities around the world.
In the last 24yrs Lagos has so much decayed. Most part of Lagos are in shambles. The few decent locations are Igbo dominated areas because they contribute their own private funds to construct roads and site modern edifices Tinubu government till date have constantly harassed and intimidated Lagosians by sponsoring and littering touts in every nook and corners of Lagos.

Lagosians have the biggest opportunity ever to change this carnage by voting the right candidate in GRV of Labour party to take Lagos to the pinnacle it belongs. Lagos generates the fund that can comfortably develop 10 states simultaneously but these funds end up in private pockets

APC has brought untold hardships, sufferings, miseries to Nigerians in the last 8yrs. The presidential election has come and gone but the aftermath remains. Tinubu is sitting on a stolen mandate which i believe will soon be strpped because 90% of the votes allotted to him were falsely awarded. If the contest was free as INEC promised, there is no reason Kwankwaso wouldn't overtake Tinubu.

The next fight is in Lagos because Tinubu's criminality, carnage, established over two decades ago must be dismantled. Lagos and Lagosians must be finally free. GRV is the next governor of Lagos.
Brethren lets go and make a leader that will take Lagos far away from the vultures and criminals that have made Lagos their own private shop.

Politics / The Mafia Side Of Peter Obi by Chimok: 9:31pm On Mar 15, 2023
Anambra was a state under the control of mafia billionaires who fought over the control of the state government. The mafia that conquers installed a stooge who literally becomes his servant and allowed the godfather full access to the state funds and allocations. This mafia billionaires individually were at the level of late Chief Lamidi Adedibu, the strong man of Oyo.

In 1999, Emeka Offor as a billionaire godfather conquered other mafia billionaires and installed his stooge Chinwoke Mbadinuju. By 2003, Anambra state govt was owing above 30months salaries and pensions .

In 2003, the Uba brothers dislodged Emeka Offor through the instrumentality of the federal might. Andy Uba was then a top ranking member of president Olusegun Obasanjo's kitchen cabinet (Inner Caucus) He sponsored his mafian brother Chris Uba in dislodging Emeka Offor. They snatched Peter Obi's mandate and installed Chris Ngige as governor

Obi after almost 3yrs at the tribunal in which even his party and partners abandoned him was declared the rightful winner in 2006.
In 2007, Andy Uba with federal might again influenced an unconstitutional governorship election where he bought the mandate as the winner and forcibly sacked Peter Obi. Again Peter Obi went to court and after about a month reclaimed his position.
Obi in 2008 was again impeached sponsored by his aides and party men who felt it was their turn to steal the state funds. At the beginning, they requested Obi allow them to refurnish the governor's office. Obi requested for a budget and they come up with over a billion naira budget. Obi pruned down the budget to #900,000. After numerous struggle to control and steal the state funds failed, they sponsored an impeachment that sacked Obi.
Obi again reclaimed his mandate in court. At this point Obi decided to toughen up. At the time, the various godfathers were still leeching the state through several avenues and Obi systematically dislodged them completely and drove them finally away from any further control of the state resources.

He went on to singlehandedly influenced governorship mandate of Willie Obiano for the good of Ndi Anambra. Ever since then he remained the strongest man politically in Anambra and the entire southeast,

Peter Obi as president will dislodge every parasite leeching the federal government of its resources

My dear, there are people whose life even started at 40. Before then they were practically nothing.

There is this skit maker on facebook- Untouchable Commedies. If u can check him out and watch all his videos. The videos are short videos u can watch within a day and u will understand there are suffering in the land. There are fine 'Ajibota' girls and ladies who would do bizarre stuff for as low as 10k and the list is endless.

You can also visit hospitals and visit the Orthopaedic sections. There are people who had a very lovely life but through accident they are permanently hanging onto life and even afraid loosing it. You can visit the motherless babies etc. Sometimes life can be very tough and it really no send u. All u need is to be tough or tougher than life itself just for u and family.
Committing suicide could be easier for u but won't be for ur family. God also abhors that. You can have personal relationship with God. by confiding in Him and don't force a reply because it will come at the appropriate time

Do away with the fine boy thing and find a way to start ur life no matter how small or the kind of job or hustle. Dont hope to make it within a month or so because that may not happen. What should be more important to u is making something no matter how small. Be hopeful for something better so when an opportunity present itself u wont be unprepared

Finally, be compassionate to others, show empathy to the less-privileged and trust in God. I see something reasonably big coming ur way if u stay focused, consistent and cheerful in whatever u do.

Politics / These Set Of Yorubas That Bring Ethnicity Into Burning Issues In Nigeria by Chimok: 7:01pm On Mar 13, 2023
For those Yorubas Nigeria can burn for all they care, Yoruba comes first. that's all that matter to them. Just like in the recent presidential election, they all know Tinubu is the worst man for the job but because it make them feel relevant, that's all that matters.
Funny enough, majority of these Yorubas are in the low income earning strata of the society, Most are outrightly jobless and are hardly sure of where their next meal will come from These set of Yorubas are sadly in the majority.

There are those Yorubas who are open-minded. All they need is a better society for all and these set are in the higher income strata. Most of them made their money by themselves without political patronages - Fals, Macroni etc.

This anomaly has been there for decades and leaves a very sour taste about Yorubas among other Nigerians. Most Nigerians on account of this see Yorubas as backstabbers, people that can never be trusted.

The question is why has this continued unmitigated. In recent times this anomaly has continued to rear its ugly heads . The Endsars movement failed because of these set of Yorubas. They from onset constitute patt of the struggle but retrace to tribalism immediately the ethnic button is pressed by their leaders. You see lots and lots of them in this platform and other social media channels. They hardly indulge in open conversations but tribal jibes and bigotry.
They are worst than boko haram because they are the ones used to entrench bad leadership.
