The court is likely to order Oando to fix a date for the extraordinary AGM (within a time frame) so that shareholders could vote and determine their acceptance or rejection of the buyout offer.
If the shareholders reject and there is another new/improved offer price from Oando, then it means they really want to delist and they may push for it. Otherwise, Oando would continue to be listed and then we continue to die there!

For this OANDO matter..... Bro we die here!

A company that can get loan approval of $800m without latest AFS, got court case withdrawal through govt will definitely buy it way to get kangaroo judgement to muscle out minority shareholders.

If they have the power to manipulate things as you stipulated, why did OANDO end up paying some shareholders millions as directed by SEC?

Is only when you make a list of what OANDO stand to gain or lose if they delist. Then you will be able to overcome the fear of delisting.

Even when Wale has given you expo that some of the agrieved minority shareholders has left but as humans, I understand the fear of unknown. But then you should ask your self if a bank was able to trust OANDO with $800m why can't I risk a million or two.

Pls this is not an advise to buy OANDO as OANDO is not a game for boys but men.

That Prophet must know something about Oando that he is not divulging!
Thank God I did not sell all my OANDO! And let's hope they would not delist

Go back to this thread as far back as when OANDO did the ConocoPhillips deal. You will understand that this prophet is an insider.

Aradel formerly NDEP (Niger Delta exploration company ) now 715 on NASD, Seplat over 2k , Oando which has transitioned to an upstream production company must shit or vomit . The 2022 Annual result is very key . No way shareholders are accepting anything less than 100 .

Even Wale knows that we the current minority shareholders are not ready to accept anything less than N50. We die here

The de-listing of shares is not even part of the agenda to be discussed or voted on in the notice of AGM. But I will definitely attend the AGM on Nov 6.

To me, I think it was a delibrate act. If it was mentioned, they will have more shareholders in attendance. As it is now, only those who has been following the court case would know what is happening. But let see what will happen on 6 November. I will surely be at Eko Hotels.

Thanks for this.
OANDO has released a Notice of AGM holding in Lagos on 6-Nov-2023, but is silent on the de-listing of its shares as it is not mentioned in the notice of the AGM.
What does this mean? Not to prejudice the case in court?

Simple, Just be sure to be at the AGM on 6 Nov and vote against the buyouts. Then you will see your investment tripped in just weeks. Thank God the location is Lagos.

The koko (highlight) of Oando is the 2022 audited result, which they have refused to release. It is that result that will disclose how much they made from disposing over 200 oando outlets to NNPC.

This is the result I am seriously dieing to see. The profit will be like

The case in court was initiated by some people who have specific names and addresses; that case must be withdrawn by the same people. It does not matter if there are other minority shareholders like you and I.

What I mean is the faith of all of OANDO shareholders will not be determine by the 14 minority shareholders that took the case to court. There must be an AGM for every shareholder to vote if he or she would accept the proposal and the buyout price. As it is now, even the 14 minority shareholders that went to court would not accept 7.07 as buyout price. Hope u get my point?

If that is the case, then the 14 minority shareholders should officially withdraw the suit from court and kill the buyout offer, otherwise the court would still go ahead and grant Oando the liberty to delist the shares, and that would mean N7.07 per share for everybody.
The long term prospects of Oando shares on NGX still depends on the outcome of the court case.

We are the new minority shareholders and the court cannot grant delisting at N7.07 without out vote at the AGM. We die here!

Where is that man that claimed to have invested 33m in oando, here is your opportunity to sell o.... At least take out your original capital of 4m cheesy

Probably he may be among those that sold at N7.45 and now OANDO is fully bid at the price of N8.60. I wonder what will be going on his mind now

Its now clear that NLC may not go onɓstrke afterall. So lets watch how the oando court thing goes.

My brother when you hear bull or bear smart ones make money while the pig got slaughtered. It will happen in OANDO this week. You see the 53 million offers would clear this week mostly by those that believe in fundamentals who would want to buy at N6 and atlease even if it got delisted they will make N1 profit and the risk takers like us who would want to average down to see the end of the delisting matter.

Please this is not a buy advise. Do your due diligence and follow the patern that works for you.

Bought Oando at 16 naira some 4 days ago and finding it difficult to get a buyer for 10.70.No one should buy at more than 7 naira.By Oct 10,we gamblers might just get lucky sha

With your response and panic I can say u are newbie. Don't be deceived most of the ogas here have set their trape waiting for OANDO at 9. OANDO that sold millions of shares since last week but only 29 millions was on offer today. What did that tells you that many people are still not ready to sell. They are waiting for the delisting outcome.

For you to buy at N16, you must have had a strategy and how long you would hold the stock and your expectations as well so you don't lose money unnecessary over price movement.

• As OANDO Plc’s litigation hearing nears, (scheduled for October 10, 2023) it can be observed that investors interest is receding, as the stock traded about 60 million units today losing 9.89% in price, to close at NGN11.85.

For me, I still believe that there is nothing Wale Tinubu want to get on this delisting that he can not get. He has hunted the regulators down, more so that one of his own is now in power.

In a nutshell, I believe the delisting would still go ahead. Since most company getting delisted have alternatives trading their shares, I mean NASD. I am 70% sure that the company would be delisted. This is my own personal opinion

I still don't understand why the court ordered AGM has not been organized as the court date is fast approaching. The volume of share traded in this stock since last week got me thinking. Do you think the minority investor are changing their mind and would want to withdraw the case on 10th Oct.?
