I agree nollywood movies suck, they're not what they used to be, reason I long stopped watching 'em.

yoruba movies are cool, used to watch the subtitled ones, too lazy these days. Besides I can barely get a hold of one.

Nollywood is not solely igbo as people make it seem though one might argue that there are more igbo actors/actresses. Well, maybe it's because the producers are mostly igbo. Or maybe yorubas prefer to be in yoruba movies. There are some in nollywood though: Omotola, the Jacobs couple, Ayo Adesanya, Yemi Blaq, Ramsey Noah, etc.

There are non-yoruba, non-igbo ones too: Ini Edo, Regina Askia, Kate Henshaw, etc. why does everything have to always be yoruba vs Igbo anyway? there are many ETHNIC GROUPS in Nigeria.  

Hausa movies are cool too - see, I'm always for experimenting. The truth is Nollywood movies are more well-known. The Americans and other Africans I know who watch African movies only mention the nollywood ones.

Since it's Nollywood not Igbo-wood, why don't all the ethnic groups come together while still making the movies in their local tongues? This would show how diverse yet connected each group is. And expose Naija languages more. I want Igbo movies back for real.

@Blood_Shed, I'm sure you get hair cuts and you probably use sporting wave(or whatever it's called) on your hair. Who knows whether it's a white man who made it? abeg stop deceiving yourself, you move with the times. Now, I'm not a fan of weaves 'cause I wouldn't wear one but I won't criticize those who do. We use different things to enhance our looks to make them the way we want it. I totally disagree with the perm thingy. No female in your family perms their hair - that's great!. . . .for them. Nobody should be subjected to your standard and whatnot. Last time I checked, a black woman invented the relaxer/lye products. So, how can it be inferiority complex when it was specifically made for black hair? Even some white women wear wigs, some try to braid their hair when the whole concept came from Africa. That means they're also suffering from 'inferiority complex'.

One more thing, it's really boring when black men complain of black women attitude. I noticed only black men who are bums complain about 'ghetto black women'. If you got class, you'll be rolling with classy women too. what you see is what you get, buddy. Most black guys who claim they like white chicks better say it's because white chicks would do anything to keep a man = stupidity/desperation. Most of them have nothing to worry about like black women in foreign countries as well as in Africa do. Black women(most) on the other hand, know their roots, where they're coming from, what they're looking for, and where they're going to be subjected to some lazy drone's beck and call. If that means 'attitude' to you, then deal with it.

Younger guys can be immature, from experience. Well, not all of them. . .depends on the individual, I guess. studies say that guys mature slower than girls.

So, a 14-yr old guy has the mind of a 12-yr old LOL. . .while a 14-yr old girl has the mind of a 14-yr old or at least 13-yr old.

women generally age faster than men - another reason why younger men are a no-no. I like to feel young.
