Lol, losing is a way of life in Dallas so there's no real news there  grin abi?
LMFAO!!, don't let A-40 see this oo. He's the only cool one of the Mavericks bunch. Funny 'cause I thought Na2day and Ogidiboy were in Houston, now everybody wants to claim Dallas, even though there's nothing much to claim over there. cheesy cheesy

JeSoul:
Mehn I enjoyed the game though. This was the first time in a long time they played with conviction and attitude, even though they lost I was happy with the effort.

Now they must beat ATL, I will make an exception for this reg season game cos they are on the brink of getting swept and that is never okay. They need to show some pride and show up big or else suffer my wrath talkless of the haters in here lol.
Yes yes, the energy last night was definitely on point. Really interesting game. Wallace dropping points straight off the bench, I liked that. I guess they lost 'cause they thought they had it already but those yeye magics hit them with a low one. grin
RomanceRe: Are Virgins Still Respected? by chiogo(f): 9:37pm On Jan 29, 2010
honeric01:
Looking at what you posted, one might think you lost yours as early as 8 and have been "doing'" it since then, so the word Virginity sounds alien to you. it's no stupidity to be proud about what men killed eachother for in the good old days, in some countries, it's a disgrace to have a daughter that's not a virgin, even in this modern times, Part of India still practice this and it also help in curbing immoralities if you don't know, reduces sexual diseases, promotes self control, so on and so forth.

Imagine a scenario where a community value and appreciate virgins, each parents would do everything in their power to make sure their kids are taught the advantages of staying a virgin and with this, the community wouldn't have much of sexual problems to tackle because kids would have been taught from birth why they should have self control and to respect their virginity and also of their neighbors.

anyways, i am not here to condemn those that already lost theirs (not a saint either) but i am here to encourage those who have not lost theirs to please go on with keeping it and to also make sure that they improve in their character as a person so as to be a complete package to their future wife/husband.

Thank You.
@sentence in bold, typical Nairaland male mis-guided assumption. Because you know me personally, right? psh. Anyway, all this you wrote na long thing. You obviously have problems comprehending what I wrote or you're intentionally ignoring my points.

I never said it's a bad thing to be one but you also didn't make a convincing point of why it's good to be one other than the husband boasting to people about it. Like, seriously??  If a guy is a virgin and marries a virgin female, why does he need to broadcast his wife's virginity status at marriage to the public? Like first of all, that's a personal thing that should be between the couple, only illiterates go bragging about such. Secondly, he must not be a virgin himself hence the need to brag about his wife.  huh

I suppose a virgin guy shouldn't be "celebrated" too, right? 'cause he's a guy. And don't try to argue this with the notion that a male virgin cannot be verified as we all know that but if he knows he's one, then he's one. Likewise, some female virgins cannot be verified. So, exactly what's your point? I just made mine.
from what i notice, the biggest drama queens themselves are usually the ones who complain most about "girl drama" tongue
LMFAO!! Exactly.
also, there is quantity vs quality. maybe u have more guy friends in terms of number but the friends you are closer to are girls in terms of quality of friendship? undecided i think it's hard to be best friends (no intitmacy) with a guy unless your gay, tomboy or a loner.
Totally agree. Can't see myself talking with a male friend the same way I would with one of my girls. Uh uh.

And not many guys can remain "close friends" with a girl esp. a pretty one for long w/o making advances. I knew this girl in High school and her "best friend" was a guy, can't remember the number of times he's asked her out. So, yeah, I dunno about all that male best friend ish.

Nigerians are too obsessed, it has to stop. Especially when they're being hypocritical. Last time I checked, everyone was born a virgin but nooooooooo, they make it only a female trait. Gettaway joo *Amaka style* grin grin

With the way you sound, i can clearly see where you are coming from even though i explained what you stand to gain being a virgin before getting married.

maybe when you come across the real mean who knows how to appreciate girls who kept their virginity (especially the pretty ones with manners), then you'd change your orientation.
And what exactly does one stand to gain? Is it the husband boasting to all and sundry about his virgin wife, like you previously said? Sheesh, that's the height of stupidity. Like really, does the whole world have to know your wife was a virgin? That's just backward mentality. If he's a virgin himself, why broadcast his wife's *status*? Oh yea I forgot, he doesn't have to be one.

LOL I love you guys - just knew an Eminem debate would come up.  grin

Ok so this song is sick. I love everything Talib Kweli, he's just too deep. Jay Electronica? never heard of him, guess he's the one that spat the last verse.
J. Cole is VERY promising, really nice after listening to him on BP3. He should stay this consistent.  smiley

Offtopic - @ Eldee, Is there a way you can help me contact Seun, the Admin., being a moderator and all?  smiley I need a favor from him.

RomanceRe: What Will You Do If You Gf Or Bf Have More Than A Thousand Active Friends On Fb? by chiogo(f): 12:01am On Jan 29, 2010
The thing with Facebook is that one could have a million friends but barely talk to a quarter of them. So, just because they're *there* doesn't exactly mean they're *friends*. Gosh, do I hate it when random people add me! tongue

But it's no competition unless she's a FB freak as in addicted to it.

Siddon. Its called strategy, player. Everyone knows Howard has trouble staying in the game and out of foul trouble. Any coach would be foolish not to exploit that weakness.
Tell 'em oo, I'm always hoping Dwight gets fouled out when they play against Boston. He's too much of a bully with his gigantic self and muscles angry grin grin
And he can't shoot for crap lololol I still love him and my Rondo. tongue

@ Gators/ Bluespice/Chiogo- I just got all the products for the hair stuff I was telling you about.
I had my hair pressed last week , a few days back I trimmed all the split ends and I've been having my hair straight for a week. (Looks like I got a relaxer) So I got my stuff and had my hair braided up last night, because I wanted the hair to lay extra flat and its easier for washing. My mom kept asking if i put chemicals in it when she was braiding it lol

And I washed it, thankfully, my hair curled up (no permenant damage from heat)
and I conditioned it.  I went to the mirror to look; and the left-over hair from the braids had curled soo beautifully!  shocked shocked shocked  My hair at the ends looked like it belonged to a mixed person. . . .  I was extremely happy!  cheesy
So Worth the money, and now my hair journey has begun! I cant wait to see what my hair looks like in a few weeks when I get it re-braided~

Just thought I update ya  wink
Aww, I wanna see it after. I can imagine how nice it'll look.
I can't go natural oo  grin Got mine relaxed 2 weeks ago and also cut the split ends. So hopefully, I experience new growths.
Might braid it up later, this weather is not cool.
