Okija_juju: Like I said, my family and I all were awarded H-1 Visas.. #Fact!
Secondly, I got that Visa in France not Nigeria. I guess that must have also aided it somehow. Funny enough, my two youngest siblings were both 4 & 6 at the time. It was a company that sent us to France, but the American trip was personal. Simply vacationing. Now I am not sure if my father applied for a tourist or professional visa, but simply put, everybody in my house got a H-1 Visa. Infact, my American and U.K Visas (Both obtained in France) were the easiest Visas I have ever gotten in my life. If I tell you the story of my British Visa, you will prolly say I'm also lying. I didn't even have complete documentations with me on that one. Because I was running late and looking for a parking space in Paric (which is a nightmare), I rushed out of the vehicle and forgot one of my envelopes in the car. I thought I had lost it, only for the guy to say and I quote "You are really making my life difficult right now. Anyways, I'm hungry and need to go on my break. Go over there ( pointing towards a cubicle) and pay". I swear it.. That was it.
My belief was that our living and working in France helped. The guy actually said 'Wow! A Family of Professionals. I like that!'. The only Visa I have obtained from Nigeria is my French Shenghen Visa. The interviewer was such an arsehole that day. That was a company trip so I guess he had no choice but to issue me my Visa. ow, I have a French resident Permit. o and by the way, I have only been to the U.S once in my life. Intend to go again in September for my sister in laws wedding.
I know it's surreal, but that's my experience. If you have the patience to look through my post history, I believe I have once said it here that I have never been denied a Visa in my life before, Today, I have U.S H-1 Visa (expired), A British Tourist Visa (expired as well), a French resident permit ( expired) and a Canadian Passport (Recently gotten). Same for everyone in my family of 7.
Don't hate! Tell that to ABOKI in Bauchi that ur family filled form for tourist visa and America issued work visa even to the minors. Guy! Do u think you are interacting with Zombees? |

If carrying drugs is what these people tag as 'industrious', they need a head cleansing. Get urself a life! Now name calling of a tribe is all u can do forgetting that its still fresh in my memory the prominent baba from ibadan they recently caught in the same airport. What about baba suwe?. I wonder why the likes of u will not stop behaving like illitrates. U forget that crime can be committed by any tribe or race.is this how naija will become better? |

Gentiger: Please do not add family members to your original application if they pre-existed at the time of your eDV application. Read below for information.
Q: How do I add a family member to my case?
A: If you would like to add an additional family member to an approved petition stored at NVC, please contact NVC in writing to do so, and provide the petitioner and beneficiary's names and dates of birth, case number, receipt number, and a copy of the birth certificate. To contact NVC by phone, you must call between 7:30 a.m. and midnight, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (EST). It may be easier to reach NVC during the morning. Follow the prompts to speak with an operator. NVC's telephone number is: 603-334-0700. You may also inquire via e-mail atNVCInquiry@state.gov.
Diversity Visa applicants may add additional family members to their case at the U.S. Consulate on the day of the interview. All normal DV fees apply for this family member. Note however, that DV lottery rules require that all family members be listed on the initial electronic DV entry. If a pre-existing family member was not listed on your initial electronic DV entry (for instance, if you were already married and/or already had children at the time of your entry, but you forgot to list your spouse and/or children), you will be disqualified at the time of your interview, and your interview fee will not be refunded. Nice reminder bro. Only if people will listen! |

jonnywalker: hi pals, thanks everyone for tryin to help.i mistakenly handed the package to them when they requested.there was no legal document backing it.it was verbal.they came to my workplace to register me for no fee n called in may to notify me.they said when they continue the visa application, they charge$7000.it was verbal. they used that court issue to convince us to proceed cos we told them we can't get 7000.they said when i get the visa n i don't have 7000,i can make 2/3payment n sign agreement to pay the rest within a year but now they've denied this.they're requesting full payment.with the lil expreience acquired from dis forum,i never wanted to hand it over to them but my parents made me did that cos it's the people who payed the processin fees,i mean medicals, police cert, visa fees.my. they said if i don't make full payment, they'll sell it.i'm asking if it's possible to sell?SHOULD I inform the embassy or that will complicate things?i wanted a peaceful agreement but they an't ready for that.i can't get all the 7000 ,ticket n pocket money thus why i'm askin if there is any other means to get my package back.thanks. Bros, its obvious that u r a JJC in this visa of a thing. Someone tried such move with a friend I introduced to this forum but I encouraged him to do his thing himself. U shouldn't have allowed them to pay ur processing fee for u but that notwithstanding is not a ground to sieze ur package. I will advise you to make arrangement to settle in peace but if they insist in settling in pieces then then u buy your ticket and arrest them for unlawful possession of ur travelling documents and u will see that police will recover your documents and hand them over to you while u jet out immediately before they plan another evil but I know they will certainly collect the money u offered them cos they have already made profit. They can't sell ur passport cos USA is not china that u can use someone's passport and visa to enter and remember that this visa is not same with non-immigrant visa cos anyone travelling with ur visa will certainly get himself involved in serous wahala cos the envelop contains ur police clearance certificate which contains ur finger print and another finger print is likely to be taken @ POE to authenticate ur Police clearance. Don't fear and don't let them know that u are arresting them so they don't hide ur documents cos if u strike without getting ur documents at first strike, its likely that they will deny u. |

You are correct my brother cos they collected at the rate of 165naira per dollar from me while the market price was 158.5 per dollar that day. uniqueprivacy: greetings to everybody in the house, congratulations to all with success stories. may we continue to have good news in our lives with or without DV IJN. @All who have had similar experience and found a way out especially those already in the state, please i have this mind bogging issue. it's about my relationship, my fiancee brought up the idea of we applying for DV lottery and i reluctantly agreed and we did applied for 2013DV separately as single, but i was fortunate to be selected, and have been granted my Visa. we got engaged last yr September hoping to get married b4 the Visa outcome, but unfortunately for me things didn't work out as planned, I mean the needed resuorces were not availabe for us to proceede with the marriage proper and now like we all know i need a lot of money for my air ticket and pocket money since my host is not a relative. The issue now is that my fiancee is insisting that i must go and see her parent and do the needful b4 i travel, but i have tried explaining things to her and she seems not to see things with me. I really love her and would go with her to the USA if i had my way, but can't due to the DV rules. she has really tried for me and had let go other suitors because of me. pls i really need your advice as to what to do. thanks for you anticipated response. Ur girl is right by demanding u do something. It doesn't cost much to introduce yourself officially to the family if there is understanding. Just open up to them that u are I need of money for your trip and believe me, ur inlaw will understand though it depends on the part of the country you came from but believe me, u may end up not marrying her if nothing is been done before your departure. |
