Preamble:
I have been looking through threads on this auto section and discovered that some are just an eye-sore while others look presentable. Most don't even give you any information on the car and i wonder how such persons that post such thread will receive a buyer. I guess we are here for business thus threads here should be made to look more professional and presentable so anyone looking at the post can have a full idea what is on offer for sale and how to go about buying the advertised cars.

Submission:
To this end, I thought in my mind that there should be some kind of standard regulating the advertisement of car in this section for professionality and uniformity sake. I know when there are rules people feel uncomfortable and threatened. But come to think of it, there will be no US without rules (constitution) making them even a strong nation. Rules/Standards would help in presenting what you have to the public, giving you better sales. Secondly i feel it will also help reduce the number of cases of dealers cheating unsuspecting buyers, thus redeeming the name of the Auto section of Nairaland (as i know some people are a bit afraid buying cars here, including myself, as they fear they may not have a good bargain for their money).

Thus i suggest all adverts should include (but not limited by) the following:
1. Description of the car(s) advertised. (either detailed or not too detailed).
2. Name, address and contact number/email of the advertiser
3. Status/condition of car (used in naija or tokumbo, salvage or clean title, accidented or not accidented, etc)
4. Location of the Vehicle for inspection.
5. Price (optional and at the discretion of the seller)
6. VIN of the car
7.Pictures showing the exterior and interior of the car (4 pictures minimum; 1 from back, 1 from front, 1 showing the dash board with part of front seat, 1 showing the back seat)
8. If car has been bought, indicate so.
9. Mileage of the car as at the time of the advertisement.

Epilogue:
More ideas are welcome on how to manage information on car adverts and how to arrange them for more professional advert and sales.

Moodie, from my interaction with many of his followers, they do not realise the bolded section of your write up. He is taken as God (by the majority of his followers) and whatsoever he says is right and biblical. He never makes a mistakes.

I must say I find your comment a little bizzare. How cld u suggest lying, cheating, fornication and adultery are not harmful to you or others?

1) Lying: It is harmful to the person being lied to cos he/she is being led to alter his/her decision which may have a profound impact on the person's life;

2)Cheating: Again this is another form of lie which leads to deception. This may also cause u to bring home diseases to your partner, so it is very harmful both to u and ur partner.

3) Fornication is harmful cos it aids the spread of diseases. It also exposes the little ones to immoral acts.

4) Adultery again falls under cheating and lying. You could bring home diseases and your partner is being made to believe a lie which is very harmful
to ur partner.

So these are sins, unlike the case with mastur.bation

So i guess if one uses condoms agiainst any disease or if both partners involved int eh act dont have any disease, then no one is hurt but just enjoy the pleasure of it, thus its no sin right?

I've already made it clear that you can mastur-bate without involving your mind thus not defiling your mind. Mastur-bation only becomes a sin when you entertain Intimate thoughts while master-bating.

Only what you do and has a bad effect or is harmful to your body is bad. Is self-service harmful to the body? NO! So how can it be a sin?

I have watched this video a few months back. I played it over and over again to be sure i was hearing right and each time i played it i vomited profusely. These i know are the fruits of the spirit. Speaking in tongues is not listed.

1st Corinth 12:1-12 . . . . . . Speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit and He gives it to christians as He wills. So all Christians must not speak in tongues

^^^ nothing could be further from the truth. You should draw a distinction between "gift of the spirit" and "fruit of the spirit". Speaking in tongues is a FRUIT of the spirit therefor compulsory for Christians, anything less is choosing to live less than you've been called to.
In 1st Corinth 14 vs 15 Paul says "for i pray in an unknown tongue my spirit prayeth but my understanding is unfruitful" therefor understand that the interpretation of tongues is a gift of the spirit which he enjoins us to pray to have in verse 13 so we can "Exhort" the church if we choose to speak in tongues b4 it. For emphasis in verse 18 he says " I thank my God I speak in tongues more than ye all" Understand he does this when he prays alone and isn't exhorting anyone.
Further in Jude 1 vs 20 Paul urges brethren "but ye beloved, building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost." now how will a Christian that can't speak in tongues build on his most holy faith? Its good to pray in your understanding, but it is much greater to pray in the spirit.

For a while now (I mean months) I have come to love this religion forum. I have gotten a lot of my questions answered even without opening threads or making comments. Threads in religion section I believe are for those with one form of religion. Those without any religion do not necessarily need to come here as it should do them no good. This thread is opened by a Christian and I would not want those who are not Christians (and not willing become one) to make any comments whatsoever or derail this thread.

Main Issue:
They keep shouting in tongues every where i go . Whether during the day time (in churches) or at night when I am trying to sleep (night vigils at home) . Who are they? My fellow christians o! . But I am not against them speaking in tongues o because me sef I speak too.

Questions:
But what does the bible talk about speaking in tongues? Is it compulsory for all Christians to speak in tongues? Has it been bastardised like many other Christian virtues i know of? Must there always be an interpretation for every tongue spoken? If yes does it mean that those who usually speak without interpretation shout just shut up and let me sleep well at night ? How should tongue speaking be done?

Show me where the bible says Jesus died for our sickness and poverty. Jesus died for our sins, period!

1 Corinthians 15:3 - For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures

1 Timothy 1:15 - Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.

Let's go by your train of thought for a sec: Jesus died for our sins, sickness and poverty. If I willingly engage in sin, that would make me disobedient to God, right? Well, that makes Paul a disobedient person because Jesus died for his poverty, yet he denied himself and chose poverty. I guess he's to be blamed, right?

Now, let's assume 2 Corinth 8:9 is speaking of material prosperity, it's interesting that a lot of prosperity preachers spend so much time trying to convince people that Jesus was materially rich when He walked this earth. But this verse seems to be saying He was poor. Before I continue I'd like to hear your view on that; was Jesus poor or rich?
