RICHIE BOI: Nollywood Loses Male Colleague Days After Prophet TB Joshua's Prophecy

The death fever that has rocked the movie industry since seems to have resumed its break after the death of Gringory in February 28, when it last happened.

According to news that just broke, Nollywood has lost one of its own to the cold hands of death.

This time, it is a movie director named Taiwo Bello. Taiwo died today after a battle with cancer.

Taiwo once worked with Funke Akindele in one of her movies.

Just some days ago, Prophet TB Joshua prophesied that Nollywood will soon lose one of its players.

Nolly wood actor to die very soon. When is soon? Soon can be till next year and people die everyday. Lets have better prophesies. Or better still one that does not always say doom.

Hi OP. you are the first beautiful lady (at least facially) that I have seen on NL. Kudos.

@OP, you just read my mind. I feel exactly the same way as you feel and I even go to church now only because the bible instructs that we should not forsake the gathering of the brethren. The teaching I hear from the pulpit of the so called MOGs of these days sometimes sends fear and trembling through my spine. And with the way the follower approve and hail them for such "wisdom and insight into the word of God" send even a greater fear and trembling mixed with bewilderment to my spine.

I study the work of God myself, get convinced or convicted on it by myself with the help of the holy spirit, and act on what I believe. I screen all teachings I hear from the pulpit with the word of bible when I go back home to study and if it does not conform to what I study I just throw it away no matter who it is coming from. Some may say the bible is already diluted over the millennia and apocryphal or non-canonical bible is more original, but at least the one we all see and have, let's practice in all sincerity without adding our own. I believe if we do what is written in this one we have (and not just misinterpreted for our individual gain) it is sufficient for us to live a fulfilled christian life.

I guess the whole issue is that people are too lazy now to study the bible for themselves. My pastor looked through my iPad and saw a presentation I made concerning tithing and said I should not follow the advise of who've asks me not to pay tithes. I wanted to (but did not) tell him I don't pay my tithes anymore but thought it wise to leave the discussion for another day (as I know it will take hours between us for such discussion and I was in a hurry to leave for my next appointment). But my stand on this and many other unbiblical truths are clear and can be shown straight from the bible. Many people I confront don't even know why they pay tithes but just because the pastor said one will insure the wrath of God.

I just hope and pray that more people will get to study the word of God and do what God requests than what their MOGs request.

IMHO, having a combination of all of them is the best.

Let me point out here that when a woman is not working you may have problem when she knows your earnings b/c your earning is determines her income. If your wife is working there is a bit air of freedom.

I guess you answered your first bolded question with the second bolded statement.

There are reasons people do this, and you have yours as stated above. But in any case, it all boils down to the attitude of your wife. If she is the type that will not cause problems or change her spending pattern or cant plan with you on appropiate spending because of the amount you earn, then i dont think it is wise to give full disclosure of your income.

Another way out is to have a separate joint account with her (separate from your salary/income account) into which an agreed sum of money between both of you would be paid into every month. Then let her do the managing of that account for all the family needs. From time to time a review depending on the family needs will be done on the amount you have to fund into the account. This could be done irrespective of whether she is a working class or not.

Its good u let ur spouse know exactly wat u earn. It helps in bringin unity nd peace into the home. If ur spouse(wife) knows ur income the fact is dat she will learn to live within ur income. She wouldnt go as far as asking u beyond ur income knowin fully well how much u earn, wat percentage goes to d house upkeep nd other bills dat needs to be settle. Talking frm experince it has actualy help in keepin my home. But fully enough most men tend to keep it a secret nd u find out dat d wife is unsatiable cos she tinks d hubby has enough on him and shd meet her needs/deman.

Are you sure about that? Unless i understand that to mean that if she knows about how much you earn, her budget (for make-up, shopping, shoes etc) will be up to 90% of your income. And if your income increases, so will the amount she gets for her shoes, dress, etc increase as her budget is always 90% of your income. Anything short of this na big quarell and deprivation (of food and s[b]e[/b]x) for house.

I go with the advice of chaircover. Any other one contrary to it is immature.
