Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Find It Difficult To Give? by chiteny(m): 1:30pm On Jan 29, 2012
@omopastor
I see you are really skilled in twisting scripture and forcing your opinion into it to fit your selfish agenda. The scriptures I quoted are clear enough and all the hubris you just wrote to obfuscate the truth does not hold any water.
Seconded. And this is what i hate most amongst those who say they are Christians especially those in position of pastoring others. Annoying. angry keep twisting the word of God for their personal gain.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Find It Difficult To Give? by chiteny(m): 1:38pm On Jan 28, 2012
What i mean by shady is that they are either not clearly deduced or stated in the bible or even practiced (especially after the death and resurrection of Jesus). Thus stand the risk to be tagged "man-made".
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Find It Difficult To Give? by chiteny(m): 1:37pm On Jan 28, 2012
these are only popular few ways of giving, so am not misguided.
thank you very much, this is really good stuff.
Good thing you are not amongst all men most misguided. So why did leave out the more important form of giving clearly stated and demonstrated in the bible (especially the new testament after the death and resurrection of Jesus)? The once you listed are i can say have some shady parts in them.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Find It Difficult To Give? by chiteny(m): 6:31am On Jan 27, 2012
Why do some christians find it difficult to part with their monies?

If they are truly born again, giving should not be strange or difficult to them!

They find it difficult to pay tithe, sow seeds or give their first fruits

a good way to judge a man is by what he says
a better way is by what he does
the best way is by what he gives!

Giving is a proof that you have conquered greed!

The test of your generousity is not necessarily how much you give but how much you have left.

Anyone that fights giving does not know who God is.
Omo Sir, are the bolded the only ways of giving (you know about)? If that is the case, you are amongst all men most misguided.

When you talk about giving first thing that should come to your mind is how do i give? This question would naturally prompt you to search the bible on how giving (which appeals to God) is done and follow suite.

@Scream! Oorde' like u! Remove which poo? God punish satan! D man is tryin to bring a beneficial change and here u are callin him poo! People are getin rich to d detriment of nigerians and some GEJ is tryin to remedy d situation and u are here callin him names! Have u read abt where oil subsidy goes? Do u knw wat pockets are so deep and eva gulpin the cash? Let me ref u to the topic; "subsidy removal should nigerians have voted for buhari"! Read all post u ungrateful Naugthy-person!
Personally i am not against subsidy, but the timing is not right. Have you tried to ask yourself some questions like

1. Does the government know these cabals that eat the subsidy money?
2. Why can't the govt go after these cabals?
3. Knowing well that some Petroleum products are smuggled out of the country after the subsidy, are there checks and balances to avert these acts?
4. Has any one (high or low) been brought to book for diverting petroleum products?
5. Some PMS are produced from our refinery. Are these subsidized too?
6. Is the cost of production of PMS in the country the same are that imported?
7. If the price of PMS produced in the country is cheaper (which i believe), why are we buying all PMS at the same cost?
9. Are there no other means of getting funds for the country (popular opinion is to cut the total emolument of politicians) other than subsidy in other to safeguard the economy of this country?
10. Have other funds raising methods been carried out first?
11. many more questions like what has been done to fix NEPA, railroad transport etc before removing subsidy.

If these questions cannot be answered convincingly, then i think subsidy removal should wait till things are fixed first else it will not be beneficial to Nigeria/Nigerians at this moment.

Hi all.I got this mail just now from a friend. How true is it?

OML! What's happening in Nigeria? In Bori Camp PH, all the Northerners were asked to move out and their mami market, burnt down! The reason being; a truck load of explosives. Apparently, the civilians (northerners) had smuggled a truck load of explosives into Port Harcourt and planned on hiding them in Bori Camp. The perpetrators were arrested and everyone of Northern descent was asked to leave the camp. Pls, if you live in port harcourt, be careful cuz the bomb threat is spreading. God protect your own!

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Christians Hate To Pay Their Tithes? by chiteny(m): 6:43pm On Dec 23, 2011
Thanks for the point, but i would like a bible reference to it. I guess i would add a little comment saying that there was no tithing on the seventh year.
Christianity EtcRe: Does God Require Tithes? by chiteny(m): 8:48am On Dec 23, 2011
God doesn't need tithe. We are the one that needs to conquer our greed by giving. There are two important things about our givings. They are honour to a God. Man cannot worship a God without giving and sacrifices. The second part of our giving is our ability to deal with greed.
shocked Oga Jo does not approve of the practise of tithing? Or am i wrong by saying so?

Any way here is a little document attached to answer the OP's question.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Christians Hate To Pay Their Tithes? by chiteny(m): 8:36am On Dec 23, 2011
Some born again christians do hate to pay their tithes though they are taught the blessings of Paying the tithes and the Curses of not paying. But still they do "rob" the Lord. Why is this so.
You asked a question, and these are the answers in the attached file. The answers are gotten from the bible as well. Hope you find it very very useful.

Jokes EtcLawmakers Pass Law Making It Illegal To Diss The First Lady by chiteny(op): 7:59am On Dec 17, 2011
Abuja - Following an emergency joint session of both legislative houses, a new law has been passed that basically makes it a criminal offence to diss the first lady.

The new law, called the Patience law, comes into effect immediately.

Official notification of the law has been sent to TV stations, newspapers and on-line news sites and web-blogs.

The law is in response to what some in government have descried as disrespectful lampooning of the person of the current first-lady by unpatriotic elements.

Speaking to journalists at the Federal house of assembly, a spokesperson for the lawmakers said:

"Some people just have no respect for their elders. They keep attacking this poor woman in an attempt to stain the character of her husband, our dear president.

But all that will end now. With this new law we have passed today, anyone who dares to insult the first-lady will face a five year jail term."

Coincidently, five years imprisonment is also the punishment in Nigeria for homosexuality.

When asked by reporters to give examples of the offensive things that have been said about the first-lady, thus necessitating the new law, the lawmaker declined to answer stating instead that:

"Even repeating them, is a crime."

He was asked if this new law will apply to all subsequent first-ladies. His response:

"Not everybody has problems with English."

Christianity EtcRe: Do Christians Ever Need Deliverance From Demons? by chiteny(m): 2:39pm On Dec 13, 2011
From some comments on this topic i am tempted to ask this question. For someone who is a christian (and has the holyspirt inside of him - his spirit being regenerated) and is demon possessed (having a demon or devil inside of him which needs to be casted out), does it mean that the Holyspirit and a demon spirit can dwell in the same body? Please i need answers as some comments quite confusing and making this topic look complicated.
Christianity EtcRe: Do Christians Ever Need Deliverance From Demons? by chiteny(m): 2:08pm On Dec 13, 2011
I will say "NO" because the christian is superior to Satan not to talk of his demons. You can only deliver someone from the hand of a greater one. A christian is greater than the demons. We can cast out devils from a christian , but I won't call it deliverance , I will call it "casting out devils"
Please Joagbaje Sir, explain your statement above. It seems to contradict itself saying No and then Yes. undecided undecided
Christianity EtcRe: Latest Important Prophecy By Prophet TB Joshua- Part I by chiteny(m): 9:09pm On Dec 12, 2011
WW3 is a deductive reasoning and not prophesy. I have shared same with some friends from the global happenings i have see, heard and read. So there is nothing magical or prophetical about this declaration by Rev T. B. Joshua. I even believe it could probably happen in less than 5 years time.

Big Jo Sir, I thought you would provide answers to these questions to further cover up or support the ministry. I strongly doubt his parents called him Sign Fireman when he was born (just like Creflo Dollars).

Big Jo Sir, He said "God is a game" and encouraged his pastors he was teaching to work hard on publicity (even if it means lying to the public i guess) so they will get member (abi customers?). I guess you also believe the same since he is a true man of God to you.
