Yesterday I just realized that the girl I wanted to marry is AS, of which I am AS as well. This is not the first time. The three ladies I've met in the past one year have been AS as well. Do I have to keep searching for the good Lady of my life. I think I will just ignore the genotype issue and marry one of them, the one I like most. no1, the whole of Ephesians were letters to a congregation, not just the first few verses of chapter 5
no2, verse 20 begins the instruction to Christian households and rather explicitly reads- 'submit to one another out of reverence for Christ'
The bible doesnt say 'husbands submit to your wives' but I think that verse is very self explanatory. inferring an obvious mutual treatment between couples but still explicitly stating the husband as the head of the house
Its no coincidence that the verse is normally ignored and skipped over but now in a century where that women can read, it should be well known!

It does? I went to read the Eph 5.20 that was quoted. You can't just pick a few words and interprete them out of context. Ephesians was written to the congregation in Ephesus and the first 20 verses of chapter 5 were to the congregation in general-not to married people. The bible NEVER said 'husbands,submit to your wives',but it did say 'wives,submit to your husbands'. I think the 'submitting to one another' bit referred to the congregation in general. After that,whoever wrote Ephesians talked about what a wife should do and what a husband should do. My two cents.

The bible also says men should be submissive to their wives! I doubt you knew that, why not ask if her husband is submissive to her!
I doubt paul was reffering to the typical Nigerian mans defiition of submission when he said so!
