Thank you @ imperious, sir ruddy, holeudrayl and morgan
But seriously, the USA universities are weird, I wrote gre scored 310 but anytime I wanted to apply to USa schools, the tuition fee is rattling as imagine a school like cool public flagship Ohio state University charging $16,000 a semester excluding stuff like student fees insurance and accommodation and most the nice flagships , getting GA is crazy, even if they discount 6,000 dollars ok and u wld have to pay it for 4 semesters. I jst switched to Germany straight and applied to their top schools, u guys are bold to apply to those schools

Am very sure Niger delta leaders are watching their wards destroying a nation source of income but would rather keep quiet on it. but when FG play back on them, it will turn out to be witch hunt or whatever name that suits them.

FG self dey Bleep up self. You claim cease fire, but they ain't ceasing any fire along, why not treat them as terrorist they RE.
No group should be capable of holding a nation at ransom.

Forget the noise coming from the west they never meant well for this country

How can U declare a group terrorist, when the international body and media has not stated such anywhere, do u read foreign articles abt Niger delta militants, do u know USA offered Kingsely Kuku former amnesty coordinator American honorarry citizenship jst for the peace in Niger Delta

No criminal can hold my beautiful country to ransom under the peoples General

What do these people even want, with all these

¤Niger Delta Ministry with a minister
¤Amnesty to repented militants
¤NDDC
¤pipeline surveillance contract
¤13% oil derivative to Governors yet Bayelsa can't pay salary

If their leaders are sincere enough and people oriented, the region would have far developed beyond this long ago instead it only made them lazy the more

In many parts of warri, some lazy ijaws and urhobos are tenants in one room apartment with the numerous family in an Igbo man house because the sold out all they inherited and blew it up on drinks and women

These guys should wake up because even if u give them autonomy to this oil, there will still be division amongs the various tribes in the region

Let me say something, from the view of an Economist, A Niger Delta is 100x times more valuable than any other tribe in Nigeria, don't u get it, Nigeria's export is 95% oil, his gas provides 80% of electricity and powers all the refineries. The Oil it's foreign Companies that explore it, NNPC is jst an overbloated Money collecting agency. U understand the economic implication of oil, that's Y U talk too much, Look @ the 3 largest economies in sub Saharan Africa, South Africa(Gold, Platinum,Diamomd,Coal), Nigeria(Oil), Angola(Oil).

I am sorry to say this, the oil companies deserve all these. When they came in2 Nigeria Y didn't they insist on the USA govt-Texas style, they were funneling the whole money to FG, Y won't militancy not escalate, most of all these governors and top south south men were from poor homes, their fathers suffered anguish in the mist of plenty, Y won't they support militancy. Even I go die and other comedians joke abt the level of poverty in Warri but we were laughing @ "mere" jokes, Warri that's the heart of Nigeria, now they are agitating for freedom. Nigerians haven't seen anything yet

That's is to show U the kind of System we run here, Y won't the Yoruba man dump his cocoa, Y won't igbo dump palm oil and Hausa, groundnuts and Shea Butter, Niger Delta should sue Federal Government and Nigerian Military to International Court of Justice for blatant shortchanging and defrauding under the disguise of the Law in gross violation of the right of the people. This is the peak of discrimination on earth, this is very very gross. Haba!. Niger Delta should act fast before the oil runs out

and after all the bombing and the rest of it..... it's still the youths of d Niger delta that will suffer more!!! if I'm lying... let the Internally displaced persons across d country be interviewed.... it's just quite unfortunate that the youths has been brainwashed as usual!!! even if d economy will b diversified, I believe it's a gradual process. this militants are just heating up the polity unnecessarily.

How can U expect your Army to invade their communities when not a single Niger Deltan has been killed by their militants? Pls I abeg all of U stop comparing ND militants to Boko Haram, even foreign media has never tried to compare them and they have even existed long before Boko Haram

I'm from delta state. Niger delta avengers does not represent me.

Igbos supporting Niger delta avengers should also bomb pipelines in their territory.
There are pipelines in anambra and imo territory.

IGBOS SHOULD PRACTICE WHAT THEY EXPECT FROM AVENGERS.

See I am igbo, if U understand the Economics of Oil, u will keep quiet, the fact u can afford to buy the phone U are using to post of Nairaland is a function of the Oil that we export, Phones are no manufactured here, how do u think U can afford it, Our Foreign reserves is 100% Petrodollars, Abuja was built by Oil, All the Universities after OAU were established by Oil dollars, without ND oil, the north wld be a Landlocked 2nd Niger Republic, the Sahara is coming South, it's eating their Farmlands, All the Fish in Niger Delta is it up to 15billion dollars but Nigeria exported 100bn dollars Oil in 2013

Nairaland / General / Mtnnewdeal Fraud by Chiznonso: 10:49pm On May 21, 2016
I subscribed for one of MTNNewDeal plans by sending V500 to 131 , it costs 500 naira, the subscriber gets 1950 naira to call all networks and 100mb of data while your 500 naira balance disappears. When I made call with it, I found out I was being charged @ 40 kobo per second everytime, I was amazed because the usual charge on a normal call rate is 40kobo for the first minute of the day and subsequently 15 kobo per second all through the day, I called customer care of no avail. I am just angry why should mtn say they are giving me 1950naira for 500 naira and then charge me more than 2.5 times per minute(40k as against 15k). This is fraud, complete fraud there's no other way it can be classified, if mtn had told me abt the call rate I wouldn't have subscribed to this plan, I tried calling customer care, but I couldn't even reach them. I would just go back to my Etisalat abeg
