Flango:
It has been shifted to June/ July. Cameroon asked for January because of the high rainfall in June. Besides the Euros is not played in winter because of the snow and bad weather. The world cup has been moved to November to suit the weather of Qater. So why is Africa's adjustment to weather an issue?
I don't think this is true..

The EPL and other tournaments continue in winter...

If AFCON was moved because of high rainfall then it's understandable because it's an exception not the rule.

Exceptions should however occur with the expected frequency of the exceptions.

There has to be a sustainable balance between needs of clubs and national teams.

January is a high tempo month when pressure is required to sustain a league challenge...

All in all its good.

staga:
Why must we do things like everyone else? Colonial mentality at work.

When are the rains heaviest in this part of the world? In January or in June? Some of you need to have some sense drilled into your skulls.
Chaos is the lack of order...

Imagine if the six continents decided to play their tournaments in 6 separate months?

One in October, another in December, February, March etc...

How would that be a sustainable arrangement?

Everyone in the world except AFCON plays their tournament in June, so what is so special in it?

Tinubu will forgo his presidential ambition by February....

The urgency of the Osun and Ekiti elections will force him to take anyone Buni imposes.

He can't leave APC in good time and form a party with grassroot to contest Ekiti and Osun..

He can't risk Ekiti and Osun going to PDP...
