Onigbanjo of the Alausa branch of the Nigerian Law School  Onigbanjo is the worst AGF Lagos has seen since 1999. Even Ipaye was not this bad. He should just go back to his private practice. No sense of public justice since he took office. Pelumi Onifade is there in the full glare of the public but he is feigning ignorance. The Dowen case has also been swept under the carpet. Onigbanjo will be severely shocked by Malami in the next few months because the next time IGP squad will come there that gate must come down at least. Maybe then they will realise that they can't delay execution of the judgement forever. |

DMerciful:It's just executive privilege. It's Nigeria's crude way of carrying on the practice of not being able to sue the crown... Used to be that you couldn't sue the FG and the President, but the 1999 constitution removed the privileges of the FG. |

erimmy:This isn't true. What the law forbid is conviction for a offences not described in any law. The Police can arrest you for 48 hours without reason. |
