Ask whatever you want to ask, I'm sure the bible answers it all and people can easily point u to the right scriptures assuming u believe in the bible.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Discrimination Against Contract Staff During Interviews. by CHM11: 4:48pm On May 10, 2015
Codedeben:
Hian! How many organizations eventually "staff' their non-core nowadays?

Talking about qualified, don't get your point. Is it possible not to ever have better qualified candidate for each and every positions?
what are the chances of having them all employed?
That's life!
95% of multinational FMCG's here in Nigeria do that (don't want to mention names). They carry out recruitment campaigns for auditing purposes, in the end, they 'staff' the contract guys with them and those whose passed tests and interviews are left hanging. Worse these contract guys most times won't be in the recruitment campaign from the start.

Where is the meritocracy in such process? Like you said, that's life!!........so contract guys shouldn't complain, if you don't want to stay as contract staff just leave the job for others who are ready.

And to the interviewer in the post....he/she is just mad... Which other experience is he/she talking about?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Discrimination Against Contract Staff During Interviews. by CHM11: 3:25pm On May 10, 2015
After all when you are being 'staffed' permanently by your own company at the expense of other better qualified people from outside, you won't be making noise.

Won't be bad if they carry their president and give him permanent residence in Mars. Like he is not a human being.

Never raise your voice at your husband?
What sort of rubbish is that?

Are Husbands Gods? So even if he is wrong and he is insisting on something wrong, and he is raising his voice at the wife, so she should still keep quite right?

Story for our ancestors.

FamilyRe: How Much Should I Give Her For Monthly Upkeep by CHM11: 11:17pm On May 09, 2015

For food stuffs and groceries, 30k is small, maybe 50 except he doesn't stay at home.
op, you need to seat her down, tell her your plans and make her see reasons with you.
But if she's the extravagant type, that would be difficult though.
I wish you Good luck
N30,000 for one month is not small for foodstuff. Especially for a young family. Its just 4 weeks, what is she eating that she will spend 30K on only foodstuff in a month. Abeg let's be realistic, half bag of rice is about 5K which definitely they can't finish in 2 months.

This woman is just being wasteful or she has other plans of having her own personal savings without working!!!!

Dear Nairalander, this is a personal issue I need you peoples help. It is not happening to my friend or someone else but me.

I need views from everyone, especially married families.
I earn, as an average income of almost 500k per month, even when I was earning 300k plus I've been fighting this issue. My wife demands for 100k monthly to manage a home of four people, myself, she and 2 kids less than 8yrs hold.

I'm the one working she is not. Telling her to find a way to stop spends on fuel for generator but each time I raise this there will be terrible fight.

I have an opinion that we need to reduce our spends on grocery items so that we can build up enough savings for better things. She talks about savings but she finds it difficult to deny herself some pleasure.

I want to take some decisions but I think I need to seek popular opinions if I'm wrong and I'm not seeing reasons with her or my perception is wrong about what to be spent to keep the home monthly.

I need some monthly home expenditure break down, with this size of family, to help me make the right judgement because the marriage is looking to me like a fundamental mistake exists somewhere.

Please nairalanders I need your opinion, from especially mothers who are in marriage and understand what I'm talking about, because I'm the one paying all the bills. I also pay for all the TV dishes in my her for her to watch telemundo with generator.

Please what do I do. Thank you.

Pls moderators, I'll be glad if this hits the front page I need candid opinions before I run into irreparable mistakes. Thanks.
Bro I don't think she's being a smart wife. If I'm earning 500K monthly and my wife is not working, she can have 20K for her personal upkeep, 30K for foodstuff and groceries and 10K for other 'out of the book' stuffs. That's a total of 60K per month and this is only because I want her and them to have a good comfortable life.

If you were earning 100K won't she have married u and managed with like 30K monthly?

Some women just don't think far. Bro you are the man, take charge and plan for yourself and your future.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: To Be Unemployed Or To Be Underemployed.. Which Is Better by CHM11: 7:33pm On May 09, 2015
as much as you want to be employed even if its to accept an offer that is below your standard, you should have a benchmark, you cant accept a job that offers you nothing in terms of job satisfaction and experience

Stealing public funds is worse than murder.

I propose capital punishment-Death by firing squad for anybody caught stealing or mismanaging public funds for personal interests.

Will Msc without Bsc affect him at the longrun? (HND,PGD and Msc)
Definitely, it will show, but considering our current country, and his age, I don't think it will matter much if he has some years of working experience already in his selected business line.

Thank you for your contribution. He is 30years of age.
Then he should go for his PGD because a BSC at 30 without experience won't change much.
HealthRe: Pls Help What Can I Use To Cure Ulcer Permanently Apart From Plantain Solutions by CHM11: 12:09am On May 08, 2015
He should take less drugs, no herbs, no alcohol, no hot or harsh foods like pepper....

Get Danacid (its in chewable tablets). He should lick or chew the tablets regularly...maybe 6-10 daily depending on the severity of the ulcer.

Its funny that Danacid will give him that soothing relief from the pain and slowly it will help cure the ulcer.

Had serious ulcer back in my uni days too. I stopped taking alcohol and danacid did the magic for me. I could work for him too.

If symptoms persist at the same level after one week, please he should go to UBTH in benin and he is sure to be cured.
EducationRe: T by CHM11: 12:03am On May 08, 2015
Depends on your age... If you can get your BSC before you hit 27 then go for it.
Most jobs hardly have MSC as minimum requirement..u see BSC most of the time.
I will rather go for Direct entry, get my BSC in 3 years and go for MSC direct.

slimsy:
My sister is in her final year in the university and she is having issues with her project topic. She don't have materials for the project.
Please kindly help if you have any useful information or materials.
Dept - Chemistry
Topic - Evaluation of Flexural Strength of Mango Fruit Endocarp Powder Reinforced Epoxy Composite
Thanks
She can start by gathering pdf files to study the physico chemical properties of the woody endocarp of mango seed.
I think they are much online.
A good lab can help her carry out a proximate and elemental analysis to determine the constituents of the Endocarp using normal AOAC methods and AAS. If she knows the constituents of the endocarp in terms of fiber, moisture, sugar, and metals, then she can start predicting the possible polymers that will be formed by epoxylating.

After epoxylating, she should analyse again to know the property of the polymer(s) formed, she can then carry out polymeric flexibility, strenght, rigidity, Tg, etc etc tests. These can be done in any standard laboratory.
