He didn't do much in Lagos, but he did something positive somewhere as a president with limited powers. What did Buhari do as Head of state with unlimited powers??....

Fashola shouldnt lose his standards because of a party!!!..... He is the only reason many people consider APC worthy at all....

Every true right thinking Nigerian shouting change is only supporting Buhari because of the hate for the Jonathan administration which to me is justifiable.
Taking a critical look at the issue on ground, if one thinks really deep, we will see that we shouldn't be voting in Buhari because we do not like the other option. If we vote buhari, it should be because we believe in Buhari....which I don't!!!

All the shout for change change change is centered around one person, and if this man decides to take the bull by the horn APC is done for. This person is Babatunde Raji Fashola. The only reason many non northerners are giving APC a chance is because of the works done by Fashola. No more no less....

As for Buhari, he isn't capable, he is old, no qualification, lied on oath, surrounded by the most corrupt, violent, lacks empathy, non democrat, a northerner, sympathizer and benefactor of boko haram, Liar.....etc etc...... His Children should come to the country and lead the protests and campaigns just so when violence ensues, they too will have their share of the result.

only if you know how deep lagos state finance is in comparison with other so called states, you will reconsider you assessment of Fashola! Lagos is the only state that can survive thrive without FG allocation. As we speak, the bulk of GMB campaign is bankrolled by Lagos. Fashola might not be a saint afterall

I will tell you why. Even though your statement has some truths, it also has some fallacies. It is wrong to vent your anger on a specific geo-political zone and deliberately forget others coz as you know, others are also involved.
Another thing worthy of note is, the Federal Government is concerned with all unemployed/underemployed graduates present in all the states that make up Nigeria, and came up with this federal character thingy, so that each state will have a fair share of her National cake (After all, there is love in sharing ). Now, it is your own responsibility to be the best in your state/geopolitical zone and have a share of the National cake, and at the end we (All the states) will all be glad it (The National cake ) went round equally.

You know in truth that th federal character thingy favours the north more. If it didn't exist, we will have more southerners holding delicate offices. I believe the best brains should be employed, if a test is conducted for 1000 people and 50 is what is required and the 50 bests come from the North, then its a good thing that intelligent northerners are the ones that get the job. (This will make worthy people get the right jobs and perform excellently).... Federal character is part of the reason we have this poor state of institutions in the country.

Employ the best of the best and forget their region....we are all Nigerians and should be given equal level playing field....

I used the word 'mallam' because the reality on ground as regards this nonsense called federal character favours the North more. You and I know the difference in the level of intelligence between the average northerner as compared to the average southerner is huge. The reason we fail as a country is because we have too many mediocres holding delicate offices all because of Federal Character and quota system.

I've never said tribalism is bad, neither did I condemn the igbos for marrying amongst themselves more (I said its better for them, because they tend to have more favourable homes when they marry from their tribe because other tribes find it hard to understand them except the really exposed ones).

Igbos marry your beautiful adamma's and give birth to many beautiful kids that will marry igbos..it favours you more!!!!!!......

As for me and my house, if you are not from Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom, Cross rivers..... It will take the love of God before I even develop feelings for you.... This is me...don't hate my orientation, respect my choice because there is a reason for it....

My comments about my experience with the east based igbos I encountered was to help others reading so that they can change and learn to understand that in the next 100 years other tribes will still exist and everybody deserves respect.

Let me tell you a story
In the jos 2002 crisis, I took my younger brothers and my girlfriend at that time to my BEST FRIEND place for protection and so on. As I go about looking for a way to get a transport for my mother and sisters.

When I went back for them, danladi my best friend for 10 years together with his father and some other people have killed my younger brothers and my ugomma I leave to tell this story because by the special grace of God. He intervened few minutes before the killed me..

Even after what happened, I don't see an Hausa person as a bad person until he gives me reasons too.

Danladi choose to kill my loved once. It was his choice. An individual choice. And not an Hausa thing. Even now in battlefield in borno my partner in our division is an Hausa guy and I trust him with my life.

Having bad experience in the hands of few igbo men or women is not a good reason to condem and entire tribe.

I didn't condemn the entire igbo race brother. Just saying what I've noticed with the lot of them that I have lived with in the past.

Wrong regarding Igbo don't marry outside. My cousin is married to an Igbo man.

We have several Igbo ladies married to extended family members, some since 50 years ago.
They have been excellent wives & mothers, and genuinely part of our family. We couldn't have wished for better wives.
It's good to keep an open mind.

The one truly meant for you would be different from all your negative experiences.
