Oga Seun, this forum needs something for a change in this upcoming Christmas celebration. Something LIVE!! Your members has toiled day and night to keep posting, mentioning, viewing and etc just to keep the forum going among other things. We are asking for something out of the ordinary, something aside the normal procedure if doing things on nairaland for just the week of Xmas, it could be treasure hunt, real guessing games, competitions and prize winning galore, it could be win and have a dinner with oga Seun, it could be a game or play station competition and get a one year scholarship from oga Seun. It could be donation of items by Nairalanders to the less privileged. It goes on and on and on... So there can be a form of activities on Nairaland.
Who agrees with me or is it bad to have fun outside the Nairaland due process.

Those Refineries are destroying the environment. The benzene and many other things in the crude oil are carcinogenic. Underground water is being poisoned and most importantly fisheries is a much more important industry than oil and gas yet it is being destroyed. The processes they are employing are even wasting the value of the crude oil itself. We lost our chance when crude oil was $100 a barrel . Most people who had licenses for mini refineries did not use them thanks to Mrs Dieziani Madueke and Dr Goodluck Jonathan. They were actually frustrated from building as money was rolling from importation and fake subsidy calculations.

Most places in Europe and US won't even allow the much safer Mini Refineries not to talk of boiling crude like kain kain. Let us respect ourselves and get serious in this country.

if something can have advantages and disadvantages, then to you I posted what could lead to the disadvantages of it and then you just wrote a nice speech on reasons why you antagonize me. Read this story.
They met at a seminar and became friends but not too close. With time, chats and communication they decided to go on a date. On the day of the meet, they arrived and relaxed at the bar. He ordered for Heineken while she settled for malt as she doesn't take alcoholics. He ordered shawarma for her, she called the lady back and asked her to make the shawarma two in one plus another take away pack.
As time went on, the guy requested that from there, they should go to a private place to have a private time, she became embarrassed and bluntly declined.
Fifteen minutes later, he answered a call and shifted away due to the noise from the loud music. Forty minutes later, he has not returned and she became nervous, she called him on phone to know his way about and he replied that he had an emergency that he was on his way coming back.
One hour later, he was still on his way coming back, she has even lost appetite for the shawarma but still held on tight to the take away pack and hope that he would soon walk in through that cotton. She subconsciously got herself a job of counting and scanning the number of guys coming in and going out of the bar.
Another 20 minutes and she knew it was high time she pay for all they ate including the extra shawarma and the guy's five bottles of Heineken. She humbly submitted her phone and respectfully stepped out to the nearest ATM to withdraw and pay before getting her fone back.
Greediness is bad but guys are too desperate. Everyone should thread carefully.
