Good afternoon everyone, University of Manchester stated that my WAEC result is outdated and cant be used as an English Language requirement. This was not stated on their page.

What can I do please?

Please can one use ordinary savings account to deposit upto 12 million naira? Is there no limit to what savings account can hold? Or should one open a current account for that purpose?

What I mean is that although the content of the two transcript is the same, the the registrar of my school here in Nigeria has changed so there is a change in signature and stamp on the new transcript that I just got from my university here in Nigeria. I was asking if it was safe to upload the soft copy of the initial one I sent to uk to obtain admission or use the new one during visa application submission

Hello, please i applied and was given a conditional offer from teesside university. Im required to send my transcript which i did since 3rd of march but i havent heard from the school. I have sent mail to them but no reply, what can i do?

actually, his conditional offer states he can pay his deposit but it is advisable you pay after getting UC tho

Guys please my wife got conditional offer from Birmingham City University. The requested for a revised SOP as well as a clearer scratch card for her WAEC cause the original certificate is kinda blur.

My question is can we go ahead and make payment for the deposit before the unconditional offer comes in. I just needed a little clarification cause we have been waiting for 2weeks now after providing the above...

Hi Guys, I received an offer from SALFORD University, but my email and password aren't working.

I've even tried forgot password yet nothing.

Although, another agent applied for a different course on my behalf yesterday and I got the offer for the first application I did myself yesterday but I cannot log in anymore. The agent claims this shouldn't be happening. Has anyone faced this problem before?

I don’t think any school comes close in terms of operating at snails speed like Birmingham city university . Good school tho

One of my siblings applied for MSc Information Technology Management on 16th March and the application is still pending.

Does anyone have experience of how long it takes to get a response, please?

I thought so too only to find out we are about 6 Nigerians in my department. You have to understand that not everyone is on Nairaland. And yes, I'm at Staffordshire University.

Hello my people, my agent applied two schools for me but he didn't select the right course I told him to choose for me. Now can I apply myself again to those schools using same credentials and choosing the course I want or is there is a way he can effect the change from the application he already submitted

After 9 visa refusals, God said the set time to favour me is now.
3 Uk tourist visas
3 Canadian study visas
1 France tourist visa
2 American tourist visa
Priority Application: on the 3rd of February

Biometrics: On the 4th of February at TLS Abuja.
Then came the longest wait ever! On the 15th working day when I didn't hear from them, I sent a paid mail. They replied the next day saying a decision hadn't been made on my app. Omo, I tire. My TB test certificate expired the next day.

On the 2nd of March, I got a mail from UKVi requesting proof that I have been attending lectures which I got from my school and immediately submitted to them.

I started rejoicing and hoping for a response soon. Then boom I was sent an interview mail on the 8th of March, and the interview was scheduled for the 9th of March by 2 pm. I prayed and prepared. I couldn't even sleep that night but God isn't man, he doesn't break his promises.

On the 9th, I got a call by 2 min past 2 pm and the interview lasted for 14mins. I was surprised o cos I had already prepared myself for an hour-long drilling but God showed himself merciful.

On the 11th of March, I got collection mail with my visa intact. What God cannot do does not exist. �����

Now I can sleep well.

I have met some truly supportive people on this platform, who kept checking in and encouraging me, may God bless you all. Thanks for all the support, answers to my questions, and information shared on this platform.

Ps :- I drafted this message in faith on the 9th of March, the same day I did my interview.

Some Questions to ponder. . . .

- why do you want to study in the U.K. as opposed to Nigeria ?

- why do you want to study your course ?

- why that particular school?

- Course structure, Modules, facilities

- how will the course benefit you in achieving your goal?

- how will you pay for your studies? Who will bankroll you and what do they do?

- accommodation plans

- future plans after study ?
