Ghana with 58 cases have recorded 3 deaths..

You wailers won't seize to amaze us

Truly, a Stupid president is elected into Office by stupid people.

Oga, the figure of confirmed cases in Nigeria is low because testing processes are very slow.
See, just make an effort to get yourself tested. It's much more difficult than getting a US visa.

Till date, while South Africa has been able to test over 20,000 citizens, Nigeria could only test less than 300 people
within the same period. Test centers are too few. Test kits are not readily available (except for Jac Ma's donation recently)
Your stúpid president is missing in action.

The pandemic is obviously spreading much deeper in Nigeria than the figures NCDC is reeling out.
Govt isn't doing enough.

Is it Buhari that will dictate what measures to be taken by state when FG had already closed it's border.

Are we no longer in democracy?

Oga, your own version of Zombiesm is terribly disgusting.

All over the world, heads of govts of countries are coordinating the battle against
Covid-19 except in Nigeria. Even the UK Prime Minister, who himself is infected and
on quarantine is still leading the fight from isolation facility.

State governors have now assume powers of shutting down federal schools, federal airports, federal highways, inland waterways,
sea ports
etc in their domains because the president is missing at a time citizens needed him most. The IG appears
helpless as there exist no one for him to take directives. Police Commissioners in different states are embarking on conflicting orders

Every governor is now a president and Commander-in-Chief of his state

Oga, Buhari scored far more than 25% in all the SE states (except Enugu & Anambra).
Go study your 2019 election results again

Buhari did not start the hatred, igbos started.all the above instances you gave were after he won 2015 polls but before then, igbos showered hatred on him by giving him the lowest votes in all elections.the hatred was unwarranted.the funny thing is that many igbos do not have any good reason for hating him, some say it was because of the civil war when buhari rarely partook in combat activities while people like obj that were at the forefront at loved by igbos

Buhari has his supporters among the Igbos.
I know many of them and have some as friends physically and on Facebook.

World over, Candidates during elections have strongholds - popular in some areas, weak in others. It's normal !

For example, during the 2011 elections, GEJ lost all the core Northern states of NE & NW (except Taraba) to Buhari.
GEJ did not become vindictive. He did not develop any obvious animosity for the people of NE & NW.
He still gave them a sense of belonging by spreading appointments and projects in line with federal character.

In the developed worlds, after elections comes governance and the president views the entire country as his constituency..
Buhari lost a great opportunity of uniting the country when he fabricated his theory of 97% vs 5%. Instead of wooing the Igbo's he
chose to show them deep hatred - lopsided appointments, lopsided projects execution etc. He proposes to borrow $22.7b but excluded
the entire zone. Haba !

See ehn, good luck to Buhari if truly such hatred makes him feel good as president

Wish to Commend the Lagos State government and her citizens of Hopeful conscience in doing their best despite the huge population in Lagos.

Weldone guys!

I humbly request others states to key into what Lagos is really doing right and lets all together overcome this present predicament confronting us.

God bless all citizens who are contributing in sharing information on how to prevent the virus.

Weldone guys!

We will overcome.
Amen.

God bless Nigeria!!!

Something smells fishy here.

Why is it that these figures are now released in the evening or at night?

Is it that these people hold meeting to determine the number of new cases to be disclosed?

They should better be honest. This level of deceit is not going to help anybody

In the last broadcast, the NCDC did say that all results will now be released at anytime
they are ready, just anytime - morning, afternoon, night or midnight

Business / Naira Depreciates To ₦410 Per Dollar As Local Currency Weakens by chozzy: 2:37am On Mar 28, 2020
Following the uncertainty in the foreign exchange market, the Naira depreciated at the parallel market on Friday evening.

Nigeria’s currency depreciated to N410 per one dollar at the parallel market, popularly known as the black market on Friday evening according to Aboki Fx. This development followed the suspension of sales of foreign exchange by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the Bureau De Change operators (BDCs).

With the current rate of N410, the naira has depreciated by N20 from N390 per dollar traded on Wednesday.

Recall that earlier this afternoon, Nairametrics had reported that the dollar sold for N395 in the parallel market. The dramatic change in price attests to the volatility in the market.

The raging coronavirus and the crash in oil prices are having a huge effect on the global economy including that of Nigeria. The big drop in foreign exchange earnings with the resultant pressure in the country’s foreign reserve and the foreign exchange market is having a negative effect on the value of the naira.

The CBN had yesterday suspended indefinitely the sales of foreign exchange to the Bureau De Change operators. The CBN’s action was in response to a letter dated March 24, 2020, by the BDCs recommending the CBN to declare market holiday on its weekly bidding pending the re-opening of the nation’s borders and the control of Covid-19 (coronavirus).

The suspension according to the Association of Bureau De Change Operators (ABCON) was as a result of the shutdown or land, air and sea border by a lot of countries globally and as such has reduced the number of travellers and the demand for foreign exchange by travellers

At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) forex window on Thursday, the local currency deprecated by 1.39 percent to close at N385.53kobo per dollar, data from FMDQ show. The naira weakened to 361 to the dollar on the official market, supported by the central bank.

Both LASG and NCDC are doing more of sugarcoated propaganda than the actual work.
They are more interested in playing politics and impressing the outside world.

I was at one of the so-called fumigation sites conducted by the LASG. They were far more journalists
and cameramen but just one or two men doing the fumigation

See, this country has a long way to go

Actual figure could be over 10,000 in Lagos alone.

There are no enough test kits, no enough medical personnel

I have being watching CNN but what baffles me about Nigeria companies is the level of advertisement they spend there money on CNN, if you don't know Nigeria you will think they're richest country in the world even the USA that own CNN never have there companies advertising products on CNN.

I know some will say that you can air your product on any television you wish anywhere in the world but my question is why spending big to air your product on television channel from a country who can not even allowed your product in there country . Do you know that money this companies spend on useless advert In CNN a year can sponsor a league cup in Nigeria professional league. In south africa all the major banks sponsors there local league cup every year but you can never see them advertising on CNN. There is Absa cup, FNB CUP, NEDBANK Cup and do you know that ABSA BANK can buy two of Zenith bank. Nigeria why are we like this, are we corse with bad leaders that lack reform and good agenda for this country.

Zenith, Airtel, Dangote, Glo, UBA, Access bank e.t.c they are guilty of this Nigeria need reform on this.

OP, they advertise to attract foreign investors.
