In fact, an underground investigation by Sahara Reporters even put the total number of those tested as at two days at 200.
Just 200 tested since February 24 when the index case was diagnosed. This means that the 400 I got from the other source

That person seeking a test right now is an unserious fellow. They are only testing those with symptoms such as fever, cough and body aches who may have been exposed to an infected person. There are very limited number of testing kits to go around, so yes of course screening is selective. Even in America and Europe, they are only testing people with symptoms, so why did your friend think he can just get tested like that?

Is that a reason for NCDC help desk not working?
What if the guy has symptoms or had had contact with an infected person and needed the test?

The boyfriend of a lady who tested positive shared a similar story. The lady just got back from UK and developed symptoms.
For three days, she called and called and called the NCDC help desk ... no response ! The boyfriend got angry and stormed the
NCDC Twitter page to embarrass them before they eventually showed up.

See, we're on our own in this country. These govt agencies are concentrating more in PR and sugarcoated speeches for them to look good.
Their staff are so lackadaisical !

Door to door testing is best but their constraint is the test kits. They don't have enough test kits.
Jac Ma donated just 20,000 test kits and it will run out soon.

These are areas we needed the president to intervene and coordinate. FG is supposed to have by now placed an order
for at least 10m test kits but they have not. Jac Ma's 20,000 test kits can only test at most 20,000 people whereas Lagos
alone require about 5m.

See, I foresee gloomy days ahead for Nigeria unless a Vaccine is discovered soon.
