........thank God u showed up bro.....i must say i have also experienced online transactions vastly and am only giving advice based on my experience and based on what online peeps are facing with cdhc's online system.....am not saying i know it all but wen an idea is been thrown to the public its highly subscetible to destructive or constructive critisism which i tink is fair.....i saw sampitt online which he also applied online....he used american express for his own payment which was accepted cuz amex is also credit card.....i wish i could dig out online peeps that used credit cards....so oga solomonwis i only updated my knowledge base system with this....i do not need to experience HIV/AIDS before i can advice someone its a deadly disease.....so baba solomon any advice i give here might have not been experienced by me but from others who has poured out experience on it.........

solomonwis: You have to approach your bank to be sure your card is enabled for online transactions. A whole lot of people face this challenge and many seem to be at a loss as to what went wrong.

Now you are supposed to have a secure code/activation code for your naira debit card (which in Nigeria at this point, serve the same purpose s credit card). The difference between a credit card and a debit card is the fact that the former can be used to effect payment even when your account is in red up to a limit, the later requires that you have the cash equivalent of your transaction amount.

I can't count the number of times I have had to use the GTB NAIRA DEBIT CARD within and outside the country both for online and offline transactions and I believe the same is the case for every other Naira debit card. Now, credit cards have not really truly been developed in Nigeria as we don't have a good credit system running.

I will advise you approach your bank and make case for your card to be enabled for internet transaction. (From experience with GT BANK,I know you will be asked to get a "token" to activate your card). Again, approach your bank for more details

....ok bro wana cum in here....how would u explain someone that used a GTB debit card for online university admission payment and was successful and also used dat same card for cdhc visa payment and failed?..and later used anoda card(credit card) and was successful....waitin for ur informative coment sir....Tanx....

solomonwis: You mean to tell me say all the people that applied online paid through credit cards in naija? You should do some asking, I am not talking based on what somebody said...I am talking from experience!

If I were you, I'd leave it for people who are HERE on NL and applied through the online route to enlighten us further....Nobody knows it all, remember..

solomonwis: That might not be true...I am sure people who applied through the online route will attest to that. The only thing is to get the card enabled for online payment. You should allow people who applied via the online route answer that question, they should know better.

solomonwis: You can use the debit card to make online payment as long as it is enabled for such.

Huzzie: Oga chrigo has said it all...you would have to discuss wiv your LGI or LI if you have good rapport, better, if you know ZI or higher ranked staff,I was the CLO at my LG and I know what I am saying.

From the look of things,CDHC,have either joined the strike fully or are on vacation; because how can we explain the reply been given to fall applicants awaiting medicals that have been storming their office for about 3weeks now.

Abellybaba: @Chrigo u re doing a great job and I will heed to your advise to do mine online since there is limited time, I believe the vfs aswell will take their time to scan and upload ur information to the computer before forwarding them to the embassy staffs to verify and work on it. So if you do online route it has reduced a month delay of your process as it was stated on their website. Since strike de strike them now and short of staff, God will bring all of us document weh de this forum so them to process, this is our month and we go chup TRV this year IJN both undergraduate and masters applicants. U guys re my agent and thanks. I will start filling and scanning today. Chrigo pls I don't send ur d digit. Buzz me make we finish this work, God go finish your work for u too. Amen.

......sexymma1....police clearance cert by d name is to serve as proof that u're of good character.....its obtainable at alagbon,lagos btw 3-5k....as for the notarize affidavit drop ur email here let me drop a format to u like boko inside ur email....@allybaba got it right...u can also look around u, if u'r able to see a law firm wit a sign board notary public then u can also notarize ur docx dia.....

.......Now u'r going south south region with ur response ....if u wana do paper route then its strictly that u go to Visa application center(vfs) to submit all the paper docx....but if its online route then its strictly online....u get to scan all those paper docx and upload it to www.cic.gc.ca website.....the benefit of the online route is that u get to kip ur paper docx to ursef while they work with one's u uploaded....u will get ur medics call tru dat same website/email...wen the embassy wants to approve ur visa thats wen they call u by phone or send u message tru the website to come with ur passport for the visa stamp.....i hope u'r back to south west region with this simple response.....lol......
