So I got an idea for an animation I started doing some weeks ago. It’s titled Agidii Town and follows the travails of Sako and Skinny. With time I hope to properly build these characters as others I have in stock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivUouxQkkJQ?si=hZoEOdvsUkbiVwzU

On the SIM card issue, was surprised to see prepaid Lucky Mobile SIM cards at dollarama close to my apartment. Reminded me of a prepaid Uk SIM cards (used lebara or something back then). What I noticed is that there is a strange kind of monopoly here. So, higher tiered companies buy into the middle and lower tiers and they become essentially the same except on paper. However, would like to add: Nigeria: you can easily get a usb internet stick Canada: you mostly have to get a contract or be in an apartment that provides it as an amenity |
I could give you an advise or two from what I learnt in my early to mid 20’s. First of all, don’t be in a rush to “kill this feeling”…your brain isn’t stupid. You’ve been emotionally attached and it isn’t easy as switching off the button. What you want to do is to savour the feeling, anticipate it, welcome it, be at one with it and dare I say, enjoy it. Even if you’re a ‘real G’, Cry alone if need be. The more you fight it, the worse it becomes. By now your mind will be playing images of her with another guy, under the sheets. Lol, It is what it is. Secondly, you should cut off contact. Block her everywhere because when you do, it’ll increase the healing process. You’d avoid temptations to reach out and send a message. So block and move ahead. Note, only reason I won’t advise this is if you anticipate she’d get back and you’d want to revenge because- she will reach out. Might be weeks or months but she’ll reach out. If you don’t and want to move ahead - Block her! Someone pointed out that more are in front. That person may be right because the older you get, you realize that most people look out for their own interest and you’d be in a better position to anticipate your detour in similar events- in other words, be ready to lose her. Learnt all these in my 20’s. Lastly prioritize your mental health and peace of mind next time. Do all these and after some time, you’d be back to optimal levels. Peace out. |
A Russian child called Sonya aged 7, was arrested together with her mother and other children for laying flowers at the embassy of Ukraine in Moscow. Additional grounds made for the arrest was Sonya was involved in carrying ‘no war’ posters. It is unclear if she has been released as the Russian Police is cracking down on protests happening due to ongoing events. A possible reason for the arrest of Sonya and her parent is to discourage parents from using their children to make political statements at the moment.

Ilamina:Who doesn’t? I don’t pretend not to. I left due to the noise, and the walls are thinly built. Waking up by 2:30am due to someone’s growling isnt my forte. |
I think it’s the norm in Toronto. Moved from my last house because it turned into a freak show. |
potent5:True but in reality there's still a risk. The courts already have a precedent set where they can remove the effect of a prenuptial agreement. The OP is right from my experience here. |
The responses from Nigerians were indeed heart warming and supportive. The way it should be ![]() |
Meet Nimi, battling suicide and depression but was bold enough ask for help. I thought I should publicize this because most people don't come out for help, thinking that they would be criticized or ostracized. Whats more?!, the love and encouragement she got from Nigerians have been amazing. It goes to show that we might have in one point in our lives or the other, subconsciously or not, been there or been close there. Suicidal thoughts and depression has become common place in this day and age. More particularly in Nigeria where it has been the norm to always hide these feelings or risk alienation from friends and family and especially those thinking you're trying to contaminate their happiness. Attributive factors of depression and suicidal thought are relative, particularly because people deal with circumstances, pressures and expectations differently. So, if someone is suicidal or is depressed or both, don't turn your back on them but try to encourage them and who knows, you just might be saving a life. Nobody has it all together. Peace!

Avedonn:Exactly. They think that everybody is gullible in this country. A country with no cctv, forensic evidence and advanced finger print recognition systems wants us to believe that they caught the true perpetrators. Smh |
adeniyi3971:I see what you did there! ![]() |

ChandlerBing: ![]() I resolved to just chill until the 6 month mark as stated by them. Last last they would send us mail, the same way they sent for the biometrics. Funnily enough, I wasn't getting all worked up before the email for biometrics came. Just checked and saw it. Let it be like that, just check my email one day and voila! ![]() |
Good question. Short answer is 'no'. It's against the ethical rules of professional conduct to defend himself/herself in these kinds of situations. In law practice, the above is justified, because think about a situation where a lawyer (representing himself) has to be cross-examined. Would he now de-robe himself to enter into the dock and afterwards robe himself? Naah! |
fizzile:I now know why they call it 'the golden mail'. ![]() |
fizzile:Almost the same as you. AOR: August 24th, MEP: cant remember the date. BIOMETRICS: September 21st The wait is unreal! |
TITILOLA88:I also had an issue here, as we were forced to sacrifice our law school slots for our seniors in 2011 to clear their backlog ![]() I put unemployed and awaiting law school. |
Distinct777:In my case, I had it on there after i recieved ITA, but I made this decision after reading this thread and previous threads coupled with my own personal research (since facts and circumstances of everyone's application aren't the same). Start from the beginning of these threads and read through and you'd see that your insight would increase! |
Distinct777:Not compulsory for POF and Medicals to be done before entering the pool. The basic information needed to enter the pool is your ECA details and your IELTS details. |
Thanks to everyone helpful since day 1. Although the wait is finishing me here (still at LP1 stage since September 24), I have decided to just commit it to God's hands and forget checking my profile to see an update every now and then. Would leave it it till the next phase reaches (after i see an email update). To all hoping, may God come through for us. |
Pray for her Pray for her She got her independence early and her treasures might come late Her children might not wait Her children might not wait Pray for her Pray for her Amidst her deadlocked fate Selah!

Boschh:This is true. They are looting more funds, the only way they do it now is to avoid putting the money in banks so that it cannot be easily traced (did a few research for a legal case so I know). |
Joniboi:Exactly. He might have stepped on some toes. There are people that can even kill for N500. |
Sad death. Remember how this man made my family give him over 6 million and a new toyota 2008 corolla(meant to be my car) in 2014. He said 'empty your account' as i just watched and silently questioned whether he was a true prophet. It was an eye opener and each time i think of it I wonder how we were that gullible. Anyways, I just hope he changed before his demise. My condolences to his family. |
eldee365:I searched too hard for this. |
tragergeorge:Exactly my thought. On days like this when i work into the midnight just to make ends meet, i think about the future once in a while. What you wrote here is what im still considering. |
Playing the Agony game currently on pc. It's good for what it is, especially playing it in a dark room with headphones on to maximize the thrill. Decided not to get the ps4 version though! |
1. Take deep breaths in and out before you speak. 2. Have bottled water around you (for the heck of it) 3. My personal one is to always think the crowd is already agreeing with you even though most of them would look intimidating. 3. Assume they have something to learn from you. And... 5. Become a lawyer so that after appearing before judges for some years, your confidence would dramatically improve and voila, you won't care about it anymore ![]() |
bujebudanu1:Yeah ![]() |
NEPA I hail o. Where's the gen? ![]() |
