The way SiMoses has performed, when Lookman and Dennis come in March it sure gonna be hard for them to be considered in the starting line up. That said, Chuks should up his game too, to make it even more harder.

Many of the Equatorial Guinea players actually looked Igboid....lol
I will like to interact with one some day to hear their dialect to know if it is still similar to those of the people of Arochukwu where most of their forefathers migrated from.

Did you know that many of those Igbos who migrated to Equatorial Guinea and never returned due to sweet life, still bear their Igbo surnames? Yesterday, we saw some of their offsprings in Mba and Anieboh representing Panya as they bravely defeated the AFCON defending champions, Algeria.

No matter what happens, Eguavoen should remain our head coach. He has given our team an Identity.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 11:12pm On Jan 16, 2022
If you were an Igbo, especially those from the southern part of the Igbo nation, then, it is possible a distant cousin of yours played in this match to end Algeria's unbeaten run.

My father's uncle never returned from Panya and he bore many children from many women in Fernanda Po(Malabo) just like many other Igbos who left for that country and never returned due to the sweet life over there. Na dem dey do Dorime that year. Today, the Igbo language is one of the recognized local(native) languages of the people of Panya( Equatorial Guinea)

The truth remains that our weakest wing is the number 9 position
Another truth is that a weak striker like Ighalo can never be a solution

Fortunately, Chukwueze, Simon, Onyekuru, can play as inverted wingers too. They can both go down the flank. While Nacho can support in feeding them.

And, Nacho can score too. Added bonus.

Firmino plays as a striker for Liverpool without a pair and it has no limited him for creating chances for others.
Yes because he has efficient inverted wingers around him, also Firmino rarely scores.

TheGoodJoe:
What Iheanacho needs is loads of chances. Not playing with me without a striker. Give him chances and he will bury it. So the system needs to do more to create chances.
Don't just look at it from one angle. We would be doing ourselves a disservice playing Nacho alone as a 9, because that would limit his abilities and effects in the game as he doesn't not only play to score but to also create chances for his strike partner to score too.

By the end of this AfCoN, Ighalo will hardly be a topic in this forum or anywhere around Nigerian football, as Peseiro is already watching Awoniyi.

If the world cup was tomorrow, my strikers would be Osimhen, Awoniyi and Dennis.

Outsiders: Sadiq, Moffi, Onuachu, Success and Dessers.

Are we still having the debate on what's Iheanacho's best position in the pitch? From Leicester last season to the AFCON, I think he has really shown where his strength lies - Behind a striker

I suggest Eguavoen and his team should not be sacked completely, instead Peseiro should be made the technical director, and Eguavoen the coach

Awoniyi is a power playing centre forward and a press machine just like Osimhen. Though he didn't score yesterday, he was quite impressive. He and Iheanacho gave us some improved IdeyEmenike 2013 vibe.

How Rohr didn't see this is baffling

The nff should reach out to udinese’s udogie to replace Collins and serve as a back up to zaidu

That udogie boy is too good to be ignored
I doubt Udogie would wanna relinquish his place as the captain of the junior Azzuris for a place in the super eagles. He should be left alone. We have Chinedu Ughelumba who can double as a LB and CB.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 11:28am On Jan 12, 2022
Another Rohr bad effect!

Who else noticed that automatically, we all have become friends, and happily banting peacefully without vulgar since yesterday? Even Chris the son of Oforkansi had to agree with Komekn the WarriBritish wannabe, for the first time in over 2 years. Even Idenna sef dun become better person to his sworn enemies. We never had it this great in Rohr's era. That Franco-German bingo was partly the cause of the division in here with his ekuke playing styles and warped sense of reasoning in making decisions which frustrated everyone

In just a match, Eguavoen has been able to implement a pattern/system, and it has worked perfectly for him, but not a single pattern or defined formation in over 5years from Rohr, yet when we started calling him out prior the world cup in 2018, people called us haters and wailers.

Andrew the porn addict, Charles big bele, Forgiveness Ajagun etc, you all deserve to be brought out naked and flogged mercilessly here angry

Seeing how we played yesterday really makes me distaste Rohr the more. The NFF should serve him another sack letter because one is not enough. If I had his email address, I would do it for free ASAP.
