TheSuperNerd: Certainly, Dazzling Chukwueze on one wing and Mesmerising Ejuke on the other wing will be another tantalising combo behind/alongside Osimhen as the Number 9. Evils unlimited.
And to think we still have Simon Moses, Samuel Kalu, Emmanuel Bonaventure, Ademola Lookman (prospectively), the likelihood of a Bukayo Saka (who can also function as LB) et al on the wings shows our mad depth. Africa will be in trouble come 2021 and even your Senegal and Cote d'ivoire won't be able to stop us.
For the midfield, Ebere Eze is good substitute for Iwobi. Ndidi is a constant. And that CM role.. well Na Aribo get am for now. But I know what you are getting at. Let K.Nwakali rise truly at Huesca first. It's true the comeback signs are there but he needs to be playing first before we can slot his name in as one of the options in the long run. He is specially suited to that CM role no doubt about it but right now, that is Aribo's office.
The Evolution of the team continues.... More good times await. At least, I am glad you follow the silent progress Nwakali is making to get his name back into the conversation of Super Eagles Midfield generals. I can't wait to see him complete his fitness regimen and start getting game time again. Nwakali's rejuvenation will be Nigeria's gain bcoz it would bring more quality depth without question. Hard to admit, but it seems we have already seen the best of Iwobi. Should Eze board this ship with his imminent move to the EPL, Iwobi might be starting from the bench. I have nothing against Aribo, but he isn't good enough. |

Ejuke could take Musa's place but Musa is Captain.

Ejuke's time will come but not this march perhaps. Neither of the two has done enough at the club level, lately, to warrant a call ahead of Air- Jaik. |

TheSuperNerd: But there is actually nothing wrong in what I said. You should have read between the lines and understood the focus of the context. I never said Whites lack Melanin totally. Perhaps it is the comment on the melanocytes part that makes you misunderstand my context. I was trying to be brief and only trying to drop an elementary explanation based on abundance and significant presence of Melanin and not little or negligible presence of it. I didn't want to be too detailed.
I said the "abundant presence" in blacks is key and thus the presence of Melanocytes is more profound in the immune system of the blacks compared to the Caucasians and co. This is one of the major reasons the immune system of the blacks stand a better chance against rogue diseases than the immune system of the whites.
Ofcos the whites have Melanin but it is so very little and thus tagged somewhat insignificant.
And like I said earlier in that post, I do not wish to make this thread a medical class all of a sudden so I cannot (and will not) oblige your request for more expatiation connecting Melanin and Insects. DM me with verifiable references/links, if u wouldn't mind, I will like to read on that. "The antimicrobial effects of the melanocytes in humans". |

TheSuperNerd: @Elyte89, I saw your mention as regards Safarigirl's comment on Black Man's immunity and you wanted me to waive into it... Lol. Well, I had to finish following some games first before I talk.
And Abeg, I no wan turn thread into medical class. I think we don talk medical matters Wella already but I can briefly say this.
Safari's point is not superstitious at all because even scientifically, it is actually correct. The immune system of the black man is actually built to be more resistant and more capable of fighting off diseases compared to the immune system of the White man.
In fact one super reason for this is the presence of Melanin in the black man (present in abundance in Black Africans and Indians). Melanin has melanocytes that contribute immensely to the Immune system and makes the it even better equipped to battle pathogens unlike the white man's immune system that do not enjoy the presence of melanocytes.
So without further Ado and much talk, Safarigirl is actually on point and she has been on point all day that I just wanna kiss her right now. What a darling she is.
**Eheemm... No let your head big oooo**
Ehen... Elyte how far naa.. our boy Haaland no score today ooo. Honestly, I for knock those frieburg lads. See dem heads. Perhaps he dey preserve am for PSG.
Meanwhile, even Dessers no score. They play 0-0. More Naija Battles tomorrow.
Happy New Month. The bolded is actually wrong. Whites are pigmented(have melanins) but not in abundance as blacks. And melanin do not have melanocytes, u could say melanosomes, because melanocytes are rather sites for melanin production just as oocytes are to eggs and spermatocytes are to sperm cells. If the whites lack melanocytes like u said, how then do they get melanins since the pigment is formed in the melanocytes? The only people without the pigment are albinos and victims of vitiligos(precisely on the white patches) About melanins being an antimicrobials, that's debatable, I know melanin has many functions, while the major function in man is its photoprotective role which helps us against sun burns. For instance, using a biological or spectroscopic method, it was found that on the average, five times as much ultraviolet light (UVB and UVA) reaches the upper dermis of Caucasians as reaches that of blacks, and the the main site of UV filtration in Caucasians is the stratum corneum, whereas in blacks it is the malpighian layers. That said, I know melanin plays a major role in the innate immune system of insects, which synthesize the polymer to damage and entomb microbial intruders, could u please school me on its antimicrobials role in humans? I'm willing to learn |

Every contribution will be duly appreciated, this is just for fun, in a bid to spice up our day with something else other than the CONVID-19 we have been reading here since yesterday, so don't feel shy to share yours. Mine was way back in secondary school, I had to turn to an organic chemistry teacher. I would read ahead of the class, attend extra classes and holiday lessons, then, go back to school to teach my class mates, yet Vanessa never felt the vibe. While I couldn't achieve my main aim(getting her attention), the positive was that the actions i took to get her attention, made me even brighter, by making me read both voraciously and comprehensively. Crazy old days
