I remember when we were parading something similar grin grin

Goalkeepers: Richard Ofori (Maritzburg United, South Africa), Razak Abalora, (Azam FC, Tanzania) Richard Atta (Hearts of Oak) - verdict; Nobody here would make the eagles team with Uzoho fit

Full-backs: Kwadwo Amoako (AshantiGold), Andy Yiadom (Reading, England), Gideon Mensah (Zulte Waregem, Belgium) - verdict; None of these full backs would make the super eagles team, though, to be fair, the duo of Agbenyenu and Baba are injured

Centre-backs: Nicholas Opoku (Amiens, France), Joseph Aidoo (Celta Vigo, Spain), Kassim Nuhu (Fortuna Dusseldorf, Germany), Habib Mohammed (Asante Kotoko) - verdict; I would consider only Aidoo here, or the eagles, Nuhu has been a bench warmer for Fortuna, hence he can't make our bench

Midfielders: Mubarak Wakaso (Jiangsu Suning, China), Alfred Duncan (Fiorentina, Italy), Iddrisu Baba (RCD Mallorca, Spain), Thomas Partey (Atletico Madrid, Spain), Mohammed Kudus (FC Nordsjaelland, Denmark) - Verdict; Here only Partey and Duncan

Wingers: Christopher Antwi-Adjei (Paderborn, Germany), Tariq Fosu (Brentford FC, England), Samuel Owusu (Al Fayha FC, Saudi Arabia), Andre Ayew (Swansea City, England) - Verdict; Nobody here would make the super eagles team

Strikers: Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace, England), Richmond Boakye Yiadom (Red Star Belgrade, Serbia), Eugene Ansah (Hapoel Ra’anana, Israel), Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana Stars) - Verdict; Nobody here would make the super eagles team

It is still a shock to me that they didn't call up Mohammed Salisu. Their best CB in Europe. I read the coach's excuses and they were all lame.
So lame, he claimed he couldn't establish a line of contact with the boy, but when pressed, he said he is now in contact with the boy know why he couldn't contact him. The man just dey talk rubbish.

I hope, wish and pray Rohr doesn't play Awaziem as a CB with the way we're rotating the role

Awaziem should be married to that RB position
When u have Ehiz, it would be foolhardy playing a makeshift in Awaziem, in the RB position

Awaziem first choice? He better watch his back, if aina is not playing LB then i dont think awaziem would start ahead of him in RB

Just pray make your guy jamilu collins no play LB grin
Are u sure u understood the post u quoted, or was the sentence wrongly punctuated?

The gate to the wailing hall has been opened, since the new Ghana coach, CK Akunnor named his squad, sacrificing better players for some HEY YOUs and trying to cover up his shortcomings with lies.

Nice time to visit Ghanaweb, dem dun curse demselves tire

i called rohr out for inviting shehu n kalu yesterday and opined that ejuke and a young alhassan would hv been preferable judging by their current form
OK, but u shouldn't have made an attempt to defend the same BS u criticized barely a day ago, at the mention of Zubby, that made u look unserious

i castigated rohr for inviting shehu earlier so i dont get what u mean by being here or there so abeg dont ever address me as a joke
I didn't call u a joke, neither did I address u as one, rather I said “don't be one”. Where did u castigate the invitation of Shehu plz?

Can fill in as a CM, DM and RB.
RB - Aina and Ehiz, as a makeshift, Awaziem is the first choice

CM - Aribo and Azeez/Etebo

DM - Ndidi and Etebo, as a makeshift, Ajayi would be preferred

How does the invitation of Shehu make sense?

Still doesn't change the fact he is a utility player.
I'm not a fan but it is what it is...
Can u, in order of their importance, enumerate how Shehu's versatility will come in handy, in this team?

Humility017:
how about Stephen okoh who plays for Swiss division 2 league player

how about trusting an unknow player with the famous no. 10 Jerseyhuh

abeg Keshi was terrible
Rohr is far better when it comes to team selection just that tactical wise he may not be there
Steven Ukoh was invited by Sunday Oliseh, not Keshi, though Keshi's had nothibg to write home about, after the afcon glory got the better of him

Lol

I no say keshi do bad things, thats why when tbaba call mohammed gambo i just smile as i read am, gambo was even better trust me

I remember keshi calling a certain Sunday Emmanuel who plays for SV Grödig, that team should be austria second division then grin
Chai Emmanuel Chukwuamaka Sunday grin

keshi that selected a nnl player in his last match against chad? Not only that but gave him the number 10 shirt hahahahaha
What is ur point exactly? That Rohr was right to invite Shehu from Turkish second division? What happened to "I don't rate any team in the Turkish league, outside the top 3 teams in the first division"?

Seems u are neither here nor there. Don't be a joke mate

He is a midfielder. Rohr plays him as rb because that's where he's needed the most.
His versatility is not in doubt... Whether you like him or not.
Wow!! And all his versatility could fetch him is place in Bursaspor in the Turkish second divsion? So much for a utility player

So this is the situation.

Talks are ongoing with several players.

Adarabioyo, looks very positive and could be invited soon. He doesn't need a switch.

Uduokhai, has given a conditional acceptance. Fingers crossed.

Akpoguma also looks good, he could be switching soon.

Overall, this time next year. We could have a few CB options.

Ejaria switch is already underway too. He should be an eagle before year end.

Talks have also started with Saka and Zirkzee but those players might be harder to get.
I wanna know the condition Uduokhai gave

tbaba1234:
He is not a starter.. Azubuike has started just once in the last 10 league games.

You mean Keshi that took Gambo Muhammad to the confederations cup?

Shehu might not deserve to be there but he is not as bad as Gambo Muhammad.
I don't want to go into this argument bro. Just tryna pass a message, Shehu's invite is not justifiable in any facet
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 6:25am On Mar 05, 2020
Guys trust me when I say we easily get Edo boys born abroad to commit to the super eagles, they just keep proving me right, now Ehiz has joined after Ebuehi, watch this space guys, Uduokhai is next.

I dare to say even the approach of Josh Orobosa would turn out positive, my reason being that the Edo boys trend ain't gonna be baulked

I do not agree with the invitation of Shehu.

But Azubuike is not a starter for his team. It is not as if he is doing great.
U can only say he doesn't start REGULARLY, not that he isn't A STARTER, that still doesn't justify the inclusion of Shehu from the second division of Turkey. For fvcks sake, Keshi never went this low

Shehu's natural position is DM.
So what's ur point exactly? U would take a DM from the division 2 of Turkish league over a DM whose team is topping the table at the first division in the same Turkey?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 9:28pm On Mar 04, 2020
Really glad to have Ehiz and Dessers.

About Ehiz, it is about time Collins be made a ball boy in the team. Till we get a decent natural LB, Aina should remain the undisputed LB while Ehiz mans the RB position.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 9:25pm On Mar 04, 2020
Nice list, though, I would drop Ezenwa for Adeleye of Ha poel Katamom or Tobias who plies his trade in the Austrian bundedliga 2.

It is a shame Shehu still gets called up even though he now plays in the almighty Turkey division 2. Before, the excuse was that we needed a back up, but, with Ehiz aboard the ship, what else do we have to say to justify Shehu's unmerited invites? Lol they even had to shamelessly list him as a midfielder?
