Danielnino00: Aina isn't a makeshift left back... What are u even saying ? Was the left back role not the first role he was given when he joined the team ? Did he impress there? No! He was rightly dropped from the world cup squad for a washed up Echijele..now he has gotten another chance and is performing well there. . Why can't u give Collins time too? How long has he even been in the team? How many times has he cost us a game ?
Collins came back from injury at the AFCON and immediately assumed Aina's role in the team, and u say Rohr doesn't rate him? Rohr didn't even bother to give Aina the RB role. He left Awazeim there...
Collins still own the left back role until Rohr decides not to play him there again! Aina is a makeshift LB, his primary position is the RB, he was only tried on the LB position bkus of his Versatility, he wasn't given enough chance prior the world up, that was why he got dropped, not even Collins a primary LB would have convinced in those paltry minutes offered Aina at the 11th hour. Now the said Collins has been given enough time, yet he hasn't been convincing, guess what, a RB was brought in, in his stead, as a makeshift, and that RB has done creditably well. |

Danielnino00: If Rohr doesn't rate Collins,he won't have dropped Aina for him during the AFCON.. especially when you consider that Aina was doing very well..
Collins still own the LB position... Aina and Ezhibue for RB.. let Awazeim fight for his spot at CB.. he was once ahead of Omeruo and Ajayi in the pecking order.. Collins was rated, he disappointed, hence, forcing Rohr to revert to a makeshift, in Aina. Aina did pretty well there, even way better than the so called owner of the LB. Aina has bossed it more and better than Collins, so I wonder what informed that statement "Collins owns the LB", when a makeshift(Aina) does the job better. Right now no one owns that position, and should anyone be considered the owner, that would be no other, than Aina |

Danielnino00: He doesn't have a primary position .. LB,RB..LWB .RWB. He plays all..
Don't forget he was brought in to play the LB role in place of Echijele Need I show more?

Danielnino00: He does .. he is a regular there...
Because u don't fancy him doesn't mean Rohr will drop him.... He came back from injury to retake the spot from Aina at the AFCON... ....Rohr rates him... He so much owns it, that he now sits for a makeshift Aina abi? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 4:43pm On Mar 06, 2020 |
Danielnino00: Aina still owns the RB position.. Collins owns the LB position. Yes, Ehizibue is untested at national team level, but at least he is a natural right back..he has been playing the role for long.
My concern is that Awaziem didn't play the RB role for his club, hence, his development in the role may be limited... Collins owns the LB role? Lol |

Icon4s: Rebuilding is not limited to young players. This is a senior national team. And so even if you plan injection of new young players you still need to keep some older ones for a balance and transfer of experience.
You steady the ship first with the available players and then you start the injection of new blood. Bro, not when most of the older players are inexperienced boasting of only 6-7 caps respectively, as is the case with this squad. The only players that fit ur narrative, from this squad are Jordan and Andrew Ayew, Wakaso and Partey. Others are old but, inexperienced. About ur last paragraph, besides Salisu, who are these new bloods being injected? Those players we can barely mention the names of their clubs without biting off our tongues? Alata kwasiaaaa!! Kwasia pa!! Pra-pra-pra!!! |

Icon4s: They are in a "rebuilding process". Plus they have not been doing well at age grade competitions for the last 8+ yrs. They are now reaping the fruit at senior levels. The introduction of the MRI at the youth level has really dealt them a big blow, while it has been a big blessing to us. |

Can u define that "rebuilding process" as regards this sqaud? Sure you know the ages of bulk of this squad? Besides Salisu, Ghana does not have any other quality young player U23, Myron Boadu wouldda been a good mention, but, no how that boy is slipping off the fingers of the Royal Dutch Football Federation |

Happy for the young man. Hopefully, he get to stay at United one more year. He's loved, and I'm pretty certain he'd get more goals. Even though the jury is still out on him, I believe he is on the right track and well on course to shot some orifices in the form of buccal cavities, especially of those ex Man United players that were all over him when he joined. |

If this is the level he is going to be giving them it will be tough to let him go. Aswear, I have never seen him this charged |

BascoVanVeli: IMO Ofori and Jordan Ayew would make the team. Ofori is a top 3 keeper in SA. Onyango, Akpeyi and Ofori. Ofori was ahead of Akpeyi coming into this season just that Akpeyi has been historic this time.
I think only Salah and Mane have scored more than Ayew in terms of Africans in the EPL. Who would u drop for Ofori, with Uzoho fit? Of our three invited strikers, who would u sacrifice for Jordan? |

DrKlever: So this is Ghana team. Every other thing being equal the super eagles team B can comfortably beat these farmers Lol it doesn't always work out like that against Ghana, once the match reads "Nigeria versus Ghana", but yes, they have a poor collection right now |
