imatalks:That's not Felix Nmecha |
junnyjake:Thing is that we blacks just wouldn't let go the humiliation our great grandfathers suffered during the slave trade, hence we become overly sensitive and just wouldn't loosen up, there by viewing every little thing via the lens of racism. Check out this bias, we can easily call a Caucasian an oyibo but would frown when we get addressed as negros or black. Some of us even go as far as getting offended when called an African. |
forgiveness:I hope he joins them permanently, not just on loan. He's had enough loan stints already, it is about time he checked it as nothing beats stability. |
forgiveness:Any link to back up the bolded? I only know of Monaco and Schalke04, though |
junnyjake:Yea though the etymology of the word mulatto(from mules, mulus) is somewhat demeaning, buh, so are some other English words not considered offensive. |
forgiveness:Same here, I hope he joins a team like, Rennes, Monaco or Nice in the ligue1 |
DrLikita12:Yea biracial is cool |
tbaba1234:Nobody in that line up looks less than 27, bar the number 18 and maybe Igoh who both look 25,26. Wetin concern me concern how anybody feels when I call a spade what it is ![]() |
tbaba1234:Oboy see grandpas!!!!! |
DrLikita12:I said a word not a phrase(s) |
tbaba1234:Alright, update as soon as uv made ur findings. About the word mulatto, I av edited it though, I cant quite fathom why people find it offensive. What's the best word to describe an offspring of two parents of different stocks? |
do4luv14:Nerves in the Chinese Soccer League? ![]() |
tbaba1234:Who's the boy with a blonde hair? |
klexycole:U mean another penalty goal? Against who sef? The almighty Shenzhen FC in the almighty Chinese Soccer League? ![]() |
tbaba1234:Nothing is guaranteed bro. Better to strike while the iron is still red hot. From my own point of view, this is a great move and timing. |
elyte89:Possible transfers bro. Buh I am convinced 90% would go through. |
Tbaba1234 any news on the availability of Olowu and Asoro for the WYC? Are they being expected in camp? |
charlesemeka85:Yea I haven't written about the wingers and midfielders who are almost certain to make bigger moves, come summer. Wingers; Okereke to Fiorentina or any big club in the Serie A, Dennis Bonaventure, Onyekuru back to Everton or outright move to Dortmund or Bayern, etc Boys like obinna Nwobo wanted by Freiburg and Frankfurt, Ajayi to Norwich, Tom Dele Bashiru to Atalanta, Nwaorisa to Sampdoria, Kingsley Michael back to Bologna, Etebo and Mikel to the premier League. Others like Igbekeme, Esiti et al. In the defense, Ola Aina to either of fiorentina or Torino, or back to Chelsea, Collins to any Bundesliga club, Omeruo to Leganes permanently, Ebuehi back from injury, Awaziem to the French league etc |
charlesemeka85:If this news was anything to go by, then, thumbs up. Dude and Enyimba made the right choice for the boy's career. I see this boy and Awaziem taking over the super eagles CB after the Olympics. Good cover for Omeruo and Ekong. Like Icon4s rightly said, nature has a way of taking care of situations By the way, this summer promises to be a busy one for Nigerian footballers. They will either be joining better clubs and leagues or go back to their parent clubs in better leagues. Look what our Striking options promises post Afcon, all things being equal; Osimhen to Lille maybe via AC Milan, Awoniyi to Schalke04, Onuachu to Porto and Simmy to Lazio. From the outside, we still have Iheanacho and Success looking in. |
forgiveness:I dont think this has anything to do with laziness or lack of funds, I feel Dude already had his players before the camping. |
BascoVanVeli:Oya give me Solanke's u15 stats |
do4luv14:It is no one's prerogative to post news here. I can also query u for not posting the news earlier. |
BascoVanVeli:Divine nwachukwu made the squad on the back of his u15 exploits(scored loads of goals), can u give us the stats? How many U15 players in Europe can u pull their stats? I even doubt Ronaldo Jnr's stats are documented, and thats not to say the numbers are bogus. |
do4luv14:A man who always stands as an attorney for malefic, can never be far from evil himself. Dat guy is always out to defend evil |
BascoVanVeli:Oh the numbers were fabricated? U really can go any length to defend evil. |
BTW, Real Madrid yesterday completed their La Decima of season losses ![]() Rayo Vellacano ensured that, buh the main news is that one on ChrisKel's carpenter players clocked 90minutes for the Victorious Rayo. Uche Agbo |
BascoVanVeli:Just as u haven't seen nothing to prove that that Bournemouth kid is an improvement on Shuaibu that manned the post against Tanzania, abi? |
Golden Eaglets Coaches In The Bad Books Of NFF Over Treatment Of Chelsea Starlet We understand that the Nigeria U17 coaches led by Manu Garba have incurred the wrath of Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick and Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi after they decided not to hand minutes to Adrian Akande at the 2019 U17 Africa Cup of Nations. The Chelsea wonderkid is courted by the English Football Association and was called up to their U16 team for the recently concluded Montaigu Tournament but was advised by his father to reject the invitation. Pinnick is believed to be in the possession of the winger's invitation letter sent by the English FA and also played a key role in the player rejecting the advances of his country of birth. The Golden Eaglets coaches have not hidden the fact that Akande is talented and remains in contention for a World Cup roster spot and have explained that he was not fielded in the ceremonial third place playoff against Angola because he's number 21 in the pecking order of players taken to Tanzania. They also said that they wanted to win the third place playoff to appease Nigerians, hence the need to play a strong squad in yesterday's game. Though Akande is being backed by Pinnick and Akinwunmi, Manu's godfather in the Nigerian Federation, Shehu Dikko, who is the chairman of the League Management Company Limited (LMC), was not in support of the player making the 21-man roster. Dikko personally ran the rule over Akande at the FIFA Goal Project before the team's departure for Tanzania and wanted him to be replaced but was overridden by his superiors, Pinnick and Akinwunmi. |
Joebie:Good, so tell me, how would u know there were no better players since he decided to limit his scouting to Lagos? What happened to his 2013 format that birthed our best U17 crop? U dont expect a poor 15/16year old kid from Akwa Ibom, Enugu, PH, Owerri, Aba, Asaba, Umuahia, Onitsha etc to embark on a journey to far away Lagos, do you? U know the cost, the dangers and all. Last time Manu tested success he had camps in almost all the 6goeoolotical zones for proximity purpose, hence giving every kid a chance. How many Academies did he visit outside Lagos abi Nigeria revolves around Lagos? Mind u dis isnt about tribe or religion buh, zone, hence even the Igbo/igboid names u see on his list were not brought up in the SE buh Lagos and its environs. He picked most of his players from Lagos Academies and I even read an Academy has about five of their players in that team. This aint just laziness, Manu is on something. Bros there are cities in Nigeria that u dont joke with bkus they are always there to provide us with abundant quality talents; Jos, Owerri, Enugu, Asaba, Benin, Lagos, Kaduna are the primary cities, hence they deserve some sort of special attentions. From history, naijas best talents have always come from these cities, no disrespect to other cities. That aside, how do u xplain the treatment he meted on a boy who left a tourney with England u16 for this AYC? Bkus Manu knew there would be no money to make on him, he decided to bench him to display his boys to the scouts for his own selfish interests, knowing full well that we are on a heated battle with the English FA for his services. Not even a minute of a game time to captie him and give him that Sense of belonging. |
BTW, Dave it is now 9goals in 8matches for Vardy under Rodgers, xup our boy, is he still in the bakery assimilating? |
TheGoodJoe:Not trynna take anything away from ur post, buh Ndidi was the overall best player in the pitch until he was subbed. |
As much I dont wanna blacklist Manu Garba, I think Forgiveness aint entirely wrong, after all. Manu aint as clean as he seems. There is more to his selections and matchday squads than meets the eye. How does one explain his decision to sideline Adrian Akande after spending alot to get him all the way from England? Why does he not have players from the South East, Delta and Edo in his squad? |
