I don't know if this his qoute is correct. Takum is my local government and it's not in Benue state even though there is a Tiv community in Takum that sometimes mount Benue state signpost which has often caused fight between the TIV and Jukuns as regard land ownership between Taraba and Benue state. It will be great to know he is from Takum nevertheless
The quote is a bit wrong as the writer needed traffic. I have seen the video, and the boy never said Takum, but Taraku. Taraku is a village in Gwer East Local Government of Benue State.

it takes more than innate talent and skills to make it as a footballer

Discipline, hard work and determination also hv to be added to excel as a young footballer with a lil sprinkle of luck

A lot of talent young player who showed promise earlier didn’t really mk it in men’s football due to the lack of the 3 above mentioned attributes

Some also that managed to mk it fell off before they reached their peak
You are missing the point which is that you can't make it if you ain't talented. Those other variables you mentioned are secondary and they can't make you a good footballer if you don't have the talent already. Children of most footballers don't have talents but they are disciplined, taught how to work hard and be determined, but yet they fail at th end.

Most footballers from South America and Europe make it with only innate talent without discipline, hard enough work and determination, even though they don't last long on the scene.

Do you know as disciplined, hard working and determined as Justin Kluivert can be, he doesn't have what it takes to reach the height Baloteli attained

I would disagree with you or maybe we have different way of looking at it.

There is natural talent yes, like blistering speed.

But all talent needs to be developed and continuously to reach excellence.

However, the main topic was footballers children and inheritance of skill, talent and ability by ASSOCIATION.

Children learn by association and association with parents is great influence. So if you are Father and you don't spend a lot of time with your children they will receive little or nothing from you.

A former Nigerian international came to the UK with his children. Came to see me. I took his kids out to play football it was suggested they could get into a EPL academy but after the session they were FAR OFF THE MARK. Meanwhile multiple EPL clubs were prepared to give them a trial on the just the name of their Father.

It was obvious the Father had not spent much time with his boy and it showed.

I know several children who are in top Academies but are not good but are left their to please the parents.

And some footballers parents spend a huge amount of time with their kids. Last year I met Marcelo his son plays for Real Madrid his Dad was with him even at age 14 to advise and encourage.
Aswear this Komekn don't know anything about football from talent, stat, tactics etc.

You actually think football is more of an acquired skill than innate talent? How many footballers do their sons or daughters turn out to be good footballers too? So all these footballers, especially from Africa who never had the support of their parents, how did they do it?

Football wise, Amokachi gave his sons everything, yet they failed. Osimhen's dad never gave him anything but see where he is today, yet you think making it in football is about spending time with your dad?

This boy, where you from sef? 🤔

How can you prove that Collin's invitation is an emotional preference considering he hasn't played a single minute for Peseiro?

Honestly I don't see the big deal in recalling a national team squad member who has started playing club games to feature in a dead rubber match.

You would have had a stronger argument if you gave examples of decent LBs who are doing well at the moment that Jose didn't invite.
Why do you guys keep engaging this kid that can't tell his right from his left as long as football tactics and analysis is concerned?

This is a dead rubber, and from the call ups, you can easily tell that the coach already knows his team.

RB - The chosen one is Osayi hence he was left out in other to try out his possible back ups in Aina and Ebuehi.

LB - Zaidu is preferred, hence the search for who becomes his back up in Jamil and Bruno.

Can this olodo wey dey here dey bleat since yesterday name another LB that should have been tried ahead of Jamil?

I was overjoyed to have Ademola Lookman join the Eagles because I felt he was gonna be a VicMo reborn, but it is unfortunate this guy has done literally nothing to prove he is worthy of being included in the roaster all the time. He's got to start showing up, otherwise I would rather an invite is extended to Nathan the son of Tella over him.

I'm skeptical about this move because I don't want him being sent out on loan or warming the bench. He is too good for that.

This is it.
Tuchel doesn't see Kimmich as a DM so asked Bayern to replace him so he can move higher up the pitch.

Bayern drew up a three-man shortlist and Ndidi was third.

Due to funds Bayern refused to firm up interest.

Ndidi got desperate and tried influencing the move on SM.
Boy you are now sounding like Komekn by believing your own assumptions to be fact?

Where and when did you have this discussion with Bayern Board and Ndidi's camp? 🙄

bro it looks likely from what I read online last night

Leicester re currently discussing with him to extend he’s contract for another year then move to Bayern on loan

The championship club doesn’t want to lose him for free knowing that he’s current contract expires at the end of this season. Bayern at the moment are in dire need of a number 6

Also Tuchel is a fan who wanted him at PSG. Anything can happen from now till Friday
Well let's see how it goes.

That said, I understand this is not an English class, but you have to start placing his/he's in their right spaces to help people who read your write ups. It is actually stressful reading a passage written the way you just wrote this.

He will get back to form, but for now, he and Iheanacho do not deserve a call up ahead of Boni and Awo
