Paul Parker - Rooney is awful and should be dropped

After discussing Robin van Persie's disappointing display at Turf Moor in his Yahoo! Sport blog, Parker wrote: 'As for Wayne Rooney, he's been awful. There he was at Burnley this weekend, supposedly captaining the team - but I saw a player interested only in himself, doing nothing to try and lift his game or inspire his team-mates. 'The only thing in any way remarkable about his performance is that he collects £300,000 a week to play that badly.'

the funniest ish here was that falcao was given the arsenal option first & he chose united. seriously, a team that finished 7th was chosen ahead of arsenal who have a CL spot?

There’s a few interesting points to
note about Saris Bello. She has known Falcao for a long time and refers to him more as a friend than anything (pictured here with Falcao in 2006). Interestingly enough, Falcao follows her on Twitter and they are personal friends on Facebook, where Saris has also reported the story.

coogar: rooney can't play there - he's too slow. rooney's future is in the midfield....he is so lethargic these days. inaccurate passes is now his hallmark. i can't remember the last time rooney took the ball past a marker with a dribble.
