The seniors who we rely on are playing crap or haven’t been available for an extended period of time- Shaw, Martial, Radhford, Pereira, Pogba, etc.

Word on the street is that these academy graduates are really sticking it up to their seniors in training. I think the reason they’re not playing lots of games is because of the physicality of the EPL.

Brandon Williams is a tough teenager and he’s got the physicality. That’s why he’s above Young and Shaw in the pecking order.

No. 1 problem in this team is laxity. That's the only reason a professional footballer fails to do basic things on the pitch. If a coach is expected to teach one those basic things, then why are you a professional footballer

James even with his less skills compared to Martial and Rashford, contributes more.

The difference is in the way those teams approached the game against Sheffield compared to how we approached the game yesterday. Will Klopp or Pep opt for 3CBs against Sheffield? Before their opener yesterday, it was obvious their game plan was long balls to the channels in search for their strikers, they tried it twice before the goal and each time it caused us issues, Maguire and Jones were clearly struggling to cope but Ole sat they watching.

When you watch City vs Chelsea, you'll see that City had to change their approach after the first 30mins or thereabout of the match to stop Chelsea from coming at them. At 2 vs 3, we were looking the sure bet to score the 4th goal but then Ole struck. If we were on the back foot, I'd have okayed that sub but we weren't. For the 3rd Sheffield goal, Maguire and Tuanzebe didn't know who was suppose to be marking the goal scorer.

How then do you play 3CBs when you lack them

When you've a good midfield like City, your defense won't matter much as compared to Utd with MF crises

If I start arguing about Jones now, they will say I argue. I have not called for Jones to be included in the starting eleven. The fact that I keep defending Maguire and the defence meant I was not calling for Jones. So why do some guys call my name when Jones makes a mistake. Funny enough, our defenders have been making individual mistakes, and I never came to crucify Maguire or Lindelof or Rojo.

That said, our attackers have been our problem. But today the defenders were the problem, the first and third goals were defenders errors. Jones wanted to make a back pass (careless attitude) while Magurie did not close down his man. Jones has this love for back passes to DDG. May be it is time he went to a club he can play regular football for his own sake. He has not matured after a decade at United.

If our forwards keep creating and scoring as they did today, teams will be afraid to come at us.

We missed McTominay. He is our best player.

E don reach the point where our front 3 no fit make runs. They cant hold up play and keep possession in the opposition half to take small pressure off the midfield and defence.

It's a goddamn shame.

At 1st half, Martial gets the ball and with little pressure would lose it and continues his jogging on the pitch. Rashford gets his and starts running without sense and loses the ball. Smh

OGS has hardly had the luxury of fielding his strongest team. We are short in numbers already, not to talk about quality players.
I think he appreciates the magnitude of quality injection especially in central areas and I believe he's got a workable plan.

Let's hope Pogba and Tom come back quick to join Fred. Looks like Fred is gathering brain small small.

Sub did nothing, losing gave them the momentum.

Fans will always be fans. At 3-2 with only a CM, he made a sub he's supposed to make. Rashford, James, Mason and Lingard were still on the pitch.
If he didn't, people will still question why he did not to close the game.

They, the managers, should focus and solve our problem.

True, probably he wanted to make up with 3 forwards, since we actually have no good CM on bench, unfortunately the 3 forwards can't keep a ball. Even to trap is a problem thereby putting pressure on the midfield and defense.

Our forwards are worst in this half cos I see nothing they're doing
