Man of peace, sir we now miss your compassionate leadership, now we are being ruled with iron fist. |
This is interesting... They should keep up with the momentum before you know it Aba will be another fashion capital of the world where even Paris will come to have a glimpse. |
Nice interchange design there, away from the prevalent Centre table design across Nigeria |
Why won't it waste, Nigerians are not convinced enough to take it |
khilardz:Keep contradicting yourself, you said Mansa Musa built one of the earliest tertiary institutions in the world in Timbuktu but here you are disparaging Africa that if not for western education we would still be in dark. Don't you think the western world copied from Africa? And if Africa has been left untouched by greedy sojourn of the whites on the continent, Africa would have gradually developed her education for the better? You said Africans don't have their letters and figures? What an insult to the great Amharic people of Ethiopia, the ancient Egyptians scholars and the people of old eastern Nigeria who had the insibidi ideoglyph. Let this wokeness not obfuscate you from the achievements of ancient Africans as abtly written by Walter. |
Walter Rodney is somewhat right in his assertions on how the imperialists caused the underdevelopment of Africa. He gave factual historical accounts of how Africans where progressing up to the point of contact with the Europeans and how the Europeans expoilted the continent in collusion with some natives leaving just glimpse of infrastructure in some selected cities in Southern part of the continent. I read that book during my first years days in the university as part of GS program and it was expository to some extent. Forget that we Africans are also cause of our problems but you won't deny most of what Rodney wrote in that book as major cause. |
Xscape1993:There is a book with that title written by a UNN professor. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI_QaQ3cWnw
It seems the other space within the precinct will be used for car park so, where will the proposed 5 star hotel be sited? Would love to see a garden in the precinct also the kind availabe at Golden Tulip. |
Obviously, this is the best Conference Centre in Nigeria, if not Africa, when completed. |
Yankiss:Your experience send chills down my spine... Thank God nothing bad happened to them. |
Who doesn't know that the northerners are gradually leaving the party for the infamous Chicago Baron? |
kettykin:But I see Anambra as a state that will reawaken true renaissance for city-state development across Nigeria, Lagos has disappointed us. |
This is sad... What sort of negligence is that? How will eight children open a parked car and cramp themselves in the car and then go ahead to lock themselves just to play inside? They need to do more investigation. RIP to the dead. |
Well, to be fair to Nigerian govts most especially the Federal Government, the cost of education in this country is far one of the cheapest in the world, even tuition fees in Ghana at the other side is expensive to ours. We just want better infrastructures in the precincts of our campuses, you might suggest jacking up the tuition fee but this is Nigeria that is financially and humanly blessed compared to some of those countries. |
Abeg start construction before you complete am with mouth |
O! You want Buhari in collusion will Malaming to track me, NwaAmaikpe, Slawormiir down? If that man can arrest someone that was kind enough to name his beloved goat after him (Buhari), who am I that has never seen anything good in him? |
geechy:No ABJ but wan relocate to Benue for the main time to develop myself better. |
Jhamzy:OK |
Follow Evaloyal2j advice, this private schools just want to milk you of every knowledge in you before pushing you away without gratuity or thank you parting gifts. I will say, delve into it fully for the main time with a set target to have a tricycle, once you into that you can now look into the bigger picture of owning a bus or car in the nearest future. It's obvious you will make it in the transport field... You can always get back to the 'white collars' in future and by this time you will come back better because you should have developed yourself better and honed your skills for the best with lots of experiences. I as a person is fed up with working for someone, this is my last month with my present company, it's fun here and cool and all that but once I travel for Christmas no coming back, won't even write a resignation letter. I know they will surely miss me and be shocked but man got to be on his own. |
Kriss216:I apologize Oremi ![]() |
OAU again! It seems that school has sadists as lecturers. |
Quite funny, see what ignorance caused, to him he is secured not knowing that once the plane engine is turned on he will be flung to heaven before even dying ![]() We should learn to stop thinking like Buhari. |
