The fraudster needs to be given a national award for swindling a dimwit with such an offer... The victim should be arrested for falling for such cheap trick. |
This is gradually becoming a global embarrassment. When would candidates stop inducing voters with stipend to vote against their wish? It shouldn't be a do or die affair! |
That's a clear case of chronic amnesia or it could even be a dementia. |
Oasoremi:Tell your brother not to worry. I presently serving in Gombe and I can tell you the experience has been fun... The permanent camp at Mallam Sidi is one of the best in the country, if not the best. But due to the insurgent activities around the fringes of the state, the state is currently making use of a technical school at Amada, a town not too far from the capital. The Amada camp is quite fun and conducive apart from not having constant water supply but during my time, the state coordinator made sure tankers supplied us water everyday. Before I forget, you will be well fed. We had chicken every Sunday and some mornings we took egg. Generally your welfare is catered for at Gombe. |
Congratulations Bro... make sure you focus on your primary aim there so as to enable leave that school in flying colors. Wishing you all the best with knowledge and wisdom always in handy for you. |
Wow! that's so thoughtful of them. I saw it earlier in the morning when I wanted to search for something online, didn't know it's part of the way google wants to celebrate one of those that changed the literature of Africa. Happy Posthumous Birthday to the Icon himself. |
Anthill of the Savannah; love that book so much...
about to go through it again. Happy posthumous birthday to a literary icon! |
Milhouse Generation Powers UNN Milhouse Generation Powers UNN Groundbreaking Ceremony @ UNN Thursday 23RD November, 2017 @10am Milhouse International, LLC Ground Breaking in Nigeria to Create Reliable Clean Coal-Powered Electricity The 60 MW power project, the first of its kind, will help broaden Nigeria’s energy mix CHICAGO, October 31, 2017 Milhouse International is moving forward with plans to create coal-powered electricity in Nigeria. Milhouse’s efforts will reduce the country’s reliance on costly diesel fuel, increase opportunities for economic growth, and provide consistency and sustainability, improving quality of life for Nigerians. To celebrate the initiation of such a trailblazing development, Milhouse is hosting a groundbreaking on November 23, 2017 at the power plant site located on the campus of The University of Nigeria at Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria. We are extremely excited and motivated to begin work in Enugu, said President/CEO, Wilbur C. Milhouse, III. My goal for Milhouse has always been to improve communities around the world and that vision has finally come to fruition As part of the groundbreaking activities, Milhouse will host its second annual soccer shoe giveaway in Nigeria. A soccer shoe drive is currently underway through November 9, 2017. The collection of new and gently used soccer shoes will be contributed to the children of the Awhum local community in Enugu State, Nigeria. In 2015, Milhouse signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its Ministry of Power. This agreement solidified Milhouse’s initiative to generate coal-powered electricity. The 60 MW power plant will increase Nigeria’s capacity to produce sustainable, reliable, and affordable electricity to its customers. Due to the erratic nature of electricity delivery in Nigeria, consistent power for homes and businesses generally entails running a diesel generator as a primary power source which costs about three to four times higher than the typical American household. Many Nigerian consumers go without lights for days at a time. By utilizing Nigeria’s natural resources we will provide its citizens with access to safe and reliable power at an affordable rate. Electricity usually accounts for more than 30% of costs for manufacturing businesses in Nigeria. Our efforts will provide relief by helping those businesses reduce their costs, and create jobs shared Wilbur Milhouse, III. After several months, countless hours of planning, and many flights from Chicago to Nsukka, Milhouse is excited to finally break ground on this innovative project. Milhouse hopes to leverage this experience and continue to impact and improve other communities in need around the world. About Milhouse International Milhouse International develops projects abroad that aim to ease power blackouts chronic in emerging economies. Currently, Milhouse International is advancing multiple projects in Nigeria. We are also pursuing similar ventures in Ghana, Camaroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
I'm in Gombe 2,but didn't know something like this happened
You are in what part? I'm in Tunfre. |
auwal83:not really, even though I have friends there... |
I'm in Gombe and I didn't even know something of that magnitude is going on... see the huge crowd that came to witness the funeral ceremony. RIP ma! |
Great job you are doing there dear... mathematics had been my bane in education but I thank God I'm picking up my pieces in the field of study gradually. |
And it took you guys eons of age to come up with your defense?
something smell fishy. |
Why are the police officers trigger happy whenever they see members of this Islamic sect? It's terrible and shows how low we have degenerated in this country. |
Sorry Obiano won't make it back to the govt house. A state as large as Anambra needs industrial investment and revolution and not just littering the parts of the state with hotels as social investment... |
When will Buhari visit the East? leaving all southern visitations and familiarities to Osinbanjo doesn't portray him as a leader that means well for his nation... |
Even Nwoye knows he ain't moving an inch close to the govt house at Awka. He should keep politicking cause that's what he is good at... The right thinking Anambrarians can't wait for the day when Obaze will be sworn in. |
This is highly commendable, this will go a long way in saving the incoming Corp members some stress for accommodation... |
This is how they keep mortgaging the future of their state. What made an oil rich state as Bayelsa to seek for loan, when she is always allocated with huge funds every month from the centre? ...poor leadership! |

The video is lovely. I have watched it on YouTube before... I guess nairalanders are not commenting because it's a video and most are trying to manage the meagre data they've got. Some beautiful scenes can be screenshot for those that have got few data to burn. I love UNN; where greatness is built in individuals. The fortress that restores man's dignity... I rep UNN!!! the best among the rest. |
Is he not human?
All these politicians and their eye service! |

One thing has been bothering my mind for quite sometime now, and that's the fate of our local football team; Rangers International. After the abysmal outing last season, the state government did well buy disbanding the management of the club but since then nothing has been heard of the club in regards to new management to spearhead their preparation for the incoming tough season which is barely six weeks from now. Rangers International, has been the mascot of sport in the region and an identity for the Igbo race which had made our country Nigeria proud in the continent. It would be chaotic and depressing to watch such team plunge into the second division of the country's football tourney, cause so far, it is the only team that has never gone on relegation since the inception of the league; the Arsenal of Nigeria. Rangers must not degenerate... Gburugburu or anyone close to the government should see this as a state of emergency to salvage the remaining pride left for us. I know this is not the appropriate medium to convey this message but I think it is imperative to reach out through this means since the government also follows this thread. #an appeal by a passionate fan of Rangers International for lovers of Rangers International! |

The way Dads protect their daughter is a work a scholar needs to research on... The boy maybe innocent though but that innate feeling of having your daughter being devoured by a 'man' like you made that man to go that extra mile. These randy and stray guys are not to be trusted with the opposite sex. It's just like giving a Panda a sugarcane to keep. |
Thank God he is alive... |
Conji has no respect for dignity |
They seem educated both their policies betray them... |
