The hebrew and the greek word for angel is malach and angelos respectively. The meaning of malach or angelos is messenger or one who is sent. It can be used to describe humans and spirits.
Angelic spirit are created for one purpose and that is to serve God, The angel sent to deliver the message of John rejected John's worship and said he is a fellowservant with John and the apostles, with this, it can be seen that Angels are fellowservants with the prophets, apostles, and in deed all Christians.

Note the angel didnt call John fellow brethren which means having same nature but rather fellowservants.

However, what does the bible say about Jesus?

There are many verses of the bible that proves who Jesus really is, but I will use the book of phillipians.

Philippians 2:7
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

We can see here that Jesus made himself of no reputation, what reputation is that? the reputation of God. God is not servant to no one he is to be worshiped and served, he is far higher and anything created or can be created. He ie the Almighty, the sovereign ruler over all and answers to no man, this is the form that Jesus had and which he put off.
Jesus making himself of no reputation means he veiled that glory which he had with the father from eternity.

Note that whatever Jesus did, he did it of his own will and initiative which itself is a character of the Almighty who does things of his own will and initiative. Any position any man is or Angels occupy did not get it of their own will but from God.


The next line in phillipians 2 ;7 was that he took the form of a servant.
After putting away his reputation as the Almighty God he took on the form of a servant, again what is the meaning of angel?
A servant so it means Jesus had to take the position of an angel meaning he was not an angel but chose to take that position.

The next line of phillipians 2;7 said Jesus was made a man interesting! Jesus became less than God after he has taken off his reputation and taken up the nature of servant, at that point he was to answer to God as a servant would to a master, it was at this point he was made a man.

This explains why Jesus said the father is greater than he is. He took the position of a servant in heaven even before being sent to this earth.

Jehovah witness error is viewing Jesus as a servant of God only and concluding that Jesus must be an angel forgetting that Jesus willingly took up that position after he has veiled his original position as Almighty God.

OP, you keep badgering Daniel 4:17 everywhere as if you really understand what the Scripture means. God definitely rules in the affairs of men but NOT all men because not everyone is subjecting themselves to his authority.
“God-rule” is known as Theocracy which puts Jehovah as the Universal Head, before Jesus his Son as head over the congregation of God’s people(Ephesians 1:22) so the “men” whom God is ruling are those in the congregation who are doing his will. Matthew 12:49-50, Luke 11:28

As for the rest of the men who reject God’s rule, they’ve invented all sorts of governments that go contrary to God’s way of ruling. That’s why you have democracy, monarchy, communism, oligarchy—forms of governments that span across different nations and empires. But God’s Word says that soon his own Kingdom will demolish and completely extinguish all those worthless forms of governments(Daniel 2:44) that do nothing but bring pain and suffering to mankind(Ecclesiastes 8:9, Revelation 11:18) but for now he is tolerating them to have their way over the earth. Romans 13:1-2

That’s why Jesus had nothing to do with the earthly kingdoms/governments in his day(John 6:15) because their source of ruling is from Satan the Devil(Luke 4:6, John 12:31) and that his own Kingdom was no part of this world. John 18:36

So if you can’t take Jesus’ word for it, I have no further words for you. Perhaps you’re among those looting national treasury or benefiting from those who are so you want to deceive yourself that God is the one in charge while you commit dastardly deeds and you’re very upset that someone is calling you out and telling you that you’re operating under Satan’s authority. Hmm, I see your point. I've just done a quick search in the Bible, and I was just getting to realize that the word Soul is used many times to mean two main things among others:
1. A person's Life or Existence in total. Matthew 16:26
2. Will, emotion, mind (according to my previous post).

*Also, I think it's used somewhat synonymous with the word 'Person': Every soul means Everybody, Everyone... E.g: Act 3:23 KJV.

Cos the Spirit is the real Man: God's Image;

*We are Spirits (God created us in his own image, God is Spirit).

*We have a Soul each (As in: Hebrew 4:12 and 1 Thess 5:23 type of context; my previous post).

*We live in the Body to interact with the physical world: when the body dies our spirits/souls remain: with God or eternal punishment.

Anyway, I think the main thing is to yield every part of our existence to God; not minding too much about the exact names given to the parts scripturally.
