One person simply identified as Wilson, has been seriously injured in a clash involving Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities in Udu and Warri South-West Local Government Areas of Delta State, DAILY POST can report. The injured person is an Ogbe-Ijoh indigene. DAILY POST learnt that he was allegedly shot during the clash between both communities. At the time of filing this report, no life was lost and no property destroyed, but there is serious tension that the clash may continue this night if security operatives do not wade in. The IYC President in Ogbe-Ijoh community, Engr. Smart Okosun confirmed the clash between both communities. Engr. Okosun said,”Aladja people came to attack us. Let it not be that we didn’t tell the world of this attack. A plane which belongs to Overland Airways caught fire at a Lagos airport today. The plane which was undergoing servicing at the time of the incident, caught fire at one of the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) hangars of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
While it was gathered that there was series of explosion as the plane caught fire at the Lagos airport, however no one was hurt. However eyewitnesses disclosed that the aircraft was badly burnt before the fire service arrived to put the fire out.

A vehicle on Friday knocked down and killed former first Vice President of Aladja Community Council, Mr. Henry Dudu along the Aladja/DSC Expressway in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Akelicious can report.
The deceased served under Paulson Okobiebi, who was then president of Aladja Community Council.
Details as to the cause of the accident are still sketchy as at press time but it was gathered that the victim bled profusely and died as he was being rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
It was learnt that after the unfortunate incident, the driver of the vehicle quickly rushed to the Ovwian/Aladja Police station to lodge a complaint, and for fear of being mobbed.
When contacted for confirmation, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa said,”I am not aware. Unless I call the DPO to confirm. If I confirm it, I will get back to you.”
Meantime, the Assistant Secretary of Aladja Community Council, Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi, in a chat with Akelicious, confirmed the development.
Bezi described the incident as a big blow to the entire Aladja community and its people.
According to him,” Henry Dudu was killed by a vehicle and the driver ran to the Police Station. However, we will ensure the Police does not cover up the matter.
“The late Henry Dudu served the community very well in his capacity as first Vice President. He is a gentleman to the core.
“I want to also use this medium to console the Aladja Community particularly his immediate family including his wife and children he left behind.”

This happened to an Instagram user account name mynnahclarke. She narrated how she and her friend survived the accident without sustaining any injury.
Their car skidded off the Lagos-Ibadan express road where there was diesel spill (diesel tanker spilled). She lost control of the vehicle which caused the car to somersault severally.

Singapore Airlines has reclaimed the title for the world’s longest commercial flight with the relaunch of its 9,534 mile Singapore to New York route.
The Airline cancelled the Singapore to New York direct flights in 2013 due to high oil prices .
The brand new A350-900 ULR (ULR for ultra-long-range) 161-passenger aircraft used for this record-breaking 18.45 hours non-stop journey (under normal condition) departed yesterday Oct. 11 with 150 passengers and 17 crew .
This flight time is over 45 minutes longer than Qatar Airways’ Doha to Auckland route - the previous longest non-stop journey . The distance and flight time varies with headwinds,tailwinds,weather condition and aircraft's model.
All 67 business class seats were fully booked while the 94 premium economy seats had limited number of seats left. Both classes of seats have a return flight that starts from £3,805 (N1.8m) and £1,230(N591k) per person respectively. There will be no economy class on this route .

The business class passengers will get a bed space, two meals they can request to eat at anytime and refreshments in between, while the Premium economy passengers will get two meals at fixed times plus snacks.
Free WiFi and an extra 200 hours of films and TV shows are available onboard each Singapore to New York flight that will initially run three times a week while daily operations starts on October 18 after a second Airbus A350-900 enters service.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has said that he won't leave the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress, advising the ruling party to bury the notion.
He stated this while reacting to a statement by the Ekiti Chairman of APC, Paul Omotoso, who said Fayose was not wanted in the party.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has lambasted South East leaders and politician for demanding Vice Presidential slot from the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
In a statement signed by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group maintained its stand for Biafra exit.
IPOB wondered why the leaders of the zone are rejoicing at the emergence of Atiku, who they described as another Fulani Muslim that could posses the murderous tendencies of Fulani herdsmen.
The group pointed out that the same Atiku in collaboration with Obasanjo, Saraki, Kwakwanso and Tambuwal among others, conspired against Jonathan and installed Buhari in 2015.
