Smh. And the gullible ones were busy shouting sai baba on that thread last night. I read several comments on that thread last night, and was upset with the level of foolishness Nigerians exhibit. A country that is struggling to earn revenues from her major source of income, suddenly reduces pump price of petroleum and by so doing, increases its amount being spent on subsidy;how's that possible? Where will the money come from? Most Nigerians don't even think with their brains when they read news items. They just swallow it hook, line and sinker. Tomorrow, these set of people will tell you that they are educated but they find it hard to think properly. I was just too upset to comment on that thread cos I knew a thread like this will surface today. |

From the little I've seen on NL auto section,I'd advice you don't stick out your neck like this when you want to help resolve an issue. Let both parties agree to something convenient for them. Coming out to say you want to buy the vehicle with your own funds and fix, when you were never a party to the transaction initially, will make people think otherwise, and suspect you were a part of the whole thing from the onset. I'd rather prefer you give the money to the seller to buy back the car from the buyer. That would help him redeem his image and it would be on record that he had an issue with an aggrieved client, and ended up refunding client's money. This would help him improve his buyers confidence. But then again,I just might be wrong. Just my humble opinion. GAZZUZZ: |
If what we are experiencing currently, goes on for 1 more year,I fear for what will happen. What I do not understand is,how Buhari became the only sell-able candidate that could contest against Jonathan. Does it mean that Nigerians are that useless for us not to be able to have any other credible candidate to contest against Jonathan, that we had to go pick someone from 30yrs back,to lead us on? |
You tried. I watched all but like only my turn, mortal kombat and healing. Nice one there. |
Honestly, when I read such comments from these folks here,I begin to wonder what kind of homes and families such people come from. The death of a man was announced and all they could do was to type such moronic comments. Some people actually should be living in the forest with animals, and not amongst human beings. MizMyColi: |
Jesus!!! What a loss to the sports world. RIP man. |
Complete jargons. |
It's funny how things have eventually turned here. I remember what I said in one of the previous scam threads here, that when we finally destroy the auto section and kill buyer's confidence here, that maybe some of us will eventually become happy. I only used the word "we" because I'm an auto dealer here, and not because I'm a part of this mess(God forbid I lose my senses and allow such a thread be opened for me). All these image spoiling and aspertions being casted on your personality(chucky234) would not have happened if you had quietly given him the 50k before he opened this thread. The funny thing is that, the total amount you even got from this transaction,is not enough to repair your tainted image. I see people quoting me and mentioning me on your thread to say you're a scammer, and posting links to this thread;how do you intend to remedy that situation? In business,"IMAGE" is everything. Why do you think multinationals spend huge sums of money on branding and advertising? Why do you think large corporations prefer to settle cases with agrievd clients out of court, and most times pay heavily? No businessman wants a negative publicity;that type of publicity is for pop stars. On a normal day,I like to stay out of people's issues and look from the sidelines but when I start seeing comments like: "they are all the same","never trust an auto dealer from nairaland",etc,I become forced to speak up. The point is that, when you guys have issues with clients and refuse to settle it amicably, and allow threads like these to be opened, you automatically start using your reggae to disturb other people's blues. The bad publicity you've gotten here is more than 50k;what kind of business sense is that? Is it that you like to be grouped with rascals like inspiredm and ademola of tripple A motors,or you just want to become popular for the wrong reason? Incase you do not know, the easiest way to lose your image in naija today,is to be called a thief or a scam artist/fraudster... My advice to you is this, apologize to the OP and nairalanders in general. Saying sorry won't kill you or make you shorter. You've lost much more than the OP with this thread cos your image has been battered already. Give him the 50k to sort himself out even if it's a loss on your side;that's business for you. Not every business transaction ends in a profit. Oyibo wey create profit and loss account for us,know wetin dem dey do. Move on to other deals. My advice to other dealers: please, let's learn the act of being honest. We live in a virtual world where a private transaction between 2 people can get into the ears of millions of others within a few hrs via the use of social media and the internet. These are very powerful tools that can make or mar your business and image, depending on how it is being deployed and who is deploying them;there is no hiding place for anybody. I try as much as possible to be very careful with whatever I say or do online cos I know it doesn't end here. Moreso,I wouldn't advice anybody to willingly market a faulty vehicle;how much is the profit that comes with it as compared to the troubles? And if you must market such, state clearly all the faults you know. It's the least you can do to help yourself and the prospective client. |
Yes. I saw the trailer on iroko tv channel on youtube. 400billionman: |
I'm hearing a different thing now. Last year,a friend asked me to partner in a low budget movie that would be put on iroko tv and dstv and some other int'l media platform. At first,I wasn't too keen on it but after so much pressure,I obliged Him. I actually thought of investing a larger sum in the project so I can earn big,but decided to test run with a very meagre sum. Fast forward till today,He keeps telling me Iroko tv hasn't paid despite the movie being on their platform. I thought these guys were making good dough from their iroko tv partnership... |
You are wise but your husband to be is foolish, and there's nothing as bad as marrying a foolish man who can't make use of his brain. You'd both end up living a life of misery when your creditors come banging on your door later-on in future. A man is suppose to think for his family and the woman supports him with her advice;not the other way round. shugga: |
