Take down Kudirat's name from that list and stop misinforming the unexposed, and the younger generation. Kudirat was never a first lady at any time. Tomorrow now, someone else would come and tell us M.K.O was a former Nigerian president.
Romance › Re: Beauty Vs Manners, Who Should I Marry? by chronique(m): 11:53pm On Oct 01, 2015
How can you be asking for advice on who you should marry between them, when you're not even dating anyone of them? Your submission above, doesn't imply that you are in a relationship with either of them, but portrays you as trying to select who you should date. I'd advice you go for the girl with manners even though a well polished girl with manners, would have been the ideal thing.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Begins Air Strikes In Syria Against ISIS by chronique(m): 7:18pm On Oct 01, 2015
They have done it before, and are capable of doing it again. They funded the Taliban rebels against the Afghan govt and Russian forces in 1979 and Osama Bin Laden and the entire Al-Qaeda movement which has given birth to numerous terrorist organisations around the world, are products of that unholy alliance. I don't like the Americans for that sake. I finally gave up on them after they destroyed Iraq and Libya and turned them to terrorists breeding grounds.

America funding ISIS is an awesome conspiracy theory. smiley smiley

if America sponsor ISIS Assad would have been sent packing since.

All those shouting mtn probably aren't using airtel. Airtel is a complete nuisance when it comes to that. Not only will they spam you with sms, they'd also spam you with calls.

In just 4 months,we've seen a lot of nonsense. I thought Buhari's administration was meant to clean up Nigeria's image on the international scene? Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case here. What's more annoying,is the incesstant lies being told by the govt daily. Nigeria is a comic nation, the joke of the 21st century.

Chai! Some people have started blaming Jonathan again but when it rose last month, they credited Buhari;what kind of humans are these?

But on a serious note,I don't think some of you are being fair to some of us by claiming we don't state our prices. Anyone who jumps on any of my thread knows that the first thing you'd see,is the name of the car with the year model and price, boldly written as the topic. If people aren't seeing that,I don't see how that should be a fault of mine. Secondly, the fact that we talk about our clients coming from other places, shouldn't be taken as arrogance. It's just a statement of fact of what currently obtains in our biz. I have nairalanders on my bbm. Most of them haven't bought a car from me yet but that doesn't stop me from responding to their numerous inquiries everytime I put up a new car picture on my dp,or send a bc out. It doesn't mean they cant buy tomorrow. My relationship with some of them, has even gone past the client/seller relationship.
Someone also posted about the cotonou biz and the price differentials between what we advertise here. Now,let me make one quick clarification here. The prices quoted on nairaland, aren't the final prices we sell. Sometimes,we are forced to raise the asking prices higher than what we'd normally ask for cos some clients are very good at offering ridiculous prices and when you point them to that fact, they'd tell you it's market and that they are at liberty to price. Whilst that might be true, people should try and be sensible enough to know what not to offer when pricing. Or how am I expected to answer someone who sees my advert late in the night when I'm sleeping or very early in the morning, and wakes me up with a call and starts pricing a 2012 honda pilot @ 3m,or a 2007 camry @ 900k? How am I supposed to react when someone makes me cancel an important call only to offer me 450k for a clean Nigerian used honda accord 2005 model? Are cars that cheap? Going back to the cotonou thing, prices in cotonou are cheaper than lagos cleared vehicles cos clearing rates from cotonou are cheaper. Albeit, not every client wants a cotonou cleared vehicle. Most clients always insist on lagos cleared and that comes with a price tag. Moreover, all cars can't be the same prices. While some of us sell more of cars bought @ the auction, some of us also sell cars bought direct from the dealership in the US and such cars are way more expensive that what you get at the auction. My partner in the US once showed me a 1999 camry with 40k original miles and it was selling for 7500 dollars;if you make the mistake of buying that and shipping to Nigeria, and posting it on NL,they'd call you all sort of names. My point is this: the cotonou market isn't a hidden secret;it has always been there and would still be there cos clients have preferences. A lagos cleared vehicle and a cotonou cleared vehicle, can never be the same price.
Like I said earlier on,the relationship between the seller and buyer should see both respecting each other.

An article written by someone who was fed the gibberish being circulated in the Nigerian media, and swallowed it hook, line and sinker just like some APC supporters do. How can any reasonable human being who claims to be educated and has brains, believe that the port-harcourt refinery has not refined a single drop of oil in the last 15 yrs,but has suddenly started refining oil under buhari? Do you guys understand the technicalities involved in crude oil refining? This is a propaganda taken too far. The moment I read this nonsense,I lost interest in the article. Yes,I want Nigeria to be great irrespective of whoever leads us(whether or not the candidate was my choice). However,I wouldn't sit down and read this type of nonsense and swallow it like an uneducated slowpoke. I'm not configured to be an idiot. There is a difference between hype and lies. This one here,is a blatant lie.

Damn!!! As usual, the dunces at the NPF are always a source of embarrassment and disgrace to the nation. Were they expecting his family members not to tell Nigerians that they paid ransom for their relative to be released? And they kept on giving us the impression that He was rescued.
