You better stop this nonsense you are doing cos you're just making matters worse for the dude. What kinda auto dealer delivers 2015 vehicles but ends up messing up with 2004/05 vehicles? Do you think your're making sense to people at all? I didn't want to interfere in this but what you're doing now, makes one want to believe that the dude is actually a fraudster. You pre-ordered a car from him, never spoke about it,but created a new I.D here to help clean up his image by creating your own testimony. You read about the other thread but didn't deem it fit to drop a word or two there;your style is pretty lame. Try harder;not everyone on this site is a mor0n. Your man is busy spoiling business for those of us doing clean business here and I aint smiling about it one bit. angry

@ OP: better be happy she told you about it. Go work on your sex life. I once had an ex who when she came visiting,we had sex twice in a day for complete 2 weeks, with the longest session being an hour and around 30mins(overnight). Of course,at the end of 2 weeks, she had bruises and my dicke felt pepperish but the truth is,there are people with high libido who enjoy sex well without drugs. You better work on yourself.

Kudos OP: there was a time in my life when I had dogs and really had the time to take care of them. Unfortunately,I don't even have time for myself now,let alone dogs. Having to regularly run your hands through their furs to pick out ticks from their body, paws and ears, aint no small task. Plus the wahala of bathing and feeding them... Kudos to you though.

Stop raising a false alarm where there is none. I have lots of dealers in and around Lagos who requests that I help them market their cars just as I sell mine. If the relative of such a person decides to post same car online,it shouldn't be a cause for alarm. Just call whoever you feel like dealing with and get on with your business. Asking who the genuine person is,sounds "somehow". I hope you get the drift.

The robber had agents in the mob and they are the ones who gingered the crowd to burn the vehicles so anything linking them to the crime won't be traced. This makes the job of the police very difficult. These are well educated/enlightened/intelligent robbers.

Wanted to join the army when I was still much younger but my sister kicked against the idea saying I was already too brutal and if I join,I would just come back home and kill everybody... grin.

At the height of the boko haram nonsense,I almost quit my biz to join the army but when I started hearing tales of commanding officers from the north, sabotaging their own troops and aiding boko haram,I lost interest.

I doubt I'd ever be able to join the army again(age aint on my side too).

I just love the aura around military personnels(apart from police and civil defence)

Music/Radio › Re: Reasons Behind The Declining Quality Of Music In Nigeria. Part 1 by chronique(m): 10:56pm On Jun 23, 2015
Yea;you're on point there. It's same thing I've been saying to a lot of people. I stopped buying the crap Nigerian artistes put up for sale. The only Nigerian album I've picked up recently,is Sean Tizzle's album.
ellyric:
I have taking time to observe the trend of the music industry in Nigeria and I have been able to point out indigenous factors that militate against the quality of music released on daily basis. I would like to share my observations, provide opinionated solutions and also get feedback on practical solutions from you. I identified five negative factors that Nigerian artist and producers are susceptible to and they are:
The bandwagon consequence: This is a phenomenon whereby the rate of uptake of beliefs, ideas, fact and trend increases the more that they have already been adopted by others. This definition fully describes the mess the Nigerian music industry has found herself. It is a known fact that when a music pattern goes viral it automatically becomes the benchmark for all other artist and producers (applicable to dance styles and videos). This trend has to halt because it is rapidly sucking the life off the quality of music we hear. For instance, we witness several artists adopting the skelewu, azonto, shoki e.t.c when they were in vogue. Literally, the artists would fill air play with the same beats, slang and music composition which is boring to true music lovers. The reason is the “wanna be syndrome”, gaining cheap popularity by reaping where they did not sow. I honestly, feel that this is the main virus eating up the creativity and ingenuity of young talented musicians. The solution is for upcoming acts to create a niche for themselves and be consistent with a music genre. The first step is the “man know thy self” philosophy, the greatest mistake an artist can make is doubting himself (demeaning your strength/competences). Stick to what works for you and improve on your style by steering up the creativity within you. For example, there are several indigenous artists that have branded themselves with a style of music and they are blessed with loyal followers. The truth is that you may like Phyno and I may prefer Asa, that’s life. We would start enjoying more of good music in Nigeria when everyone sticks to their style and capitalize on their strength.
Try and error syndrome (for producers): I have discovered over the years that over 60percent of producers I have meet are not grounded fundamentally on the professionalism of music production. Producers are the brains behind the quality of music released daily; they can either make you or ruin you as an artist. The emergence of music production DAWs and highly intelligent plugins have made indigenous producers ignore the act of apprenticeship thereby lacking sufficient knowledge in the technicalities involved in making music. I noticed that once an individual can make a rhythm on the computer, he is labelled a “producer”. I feel producers should take more time in learning their trade, don’t try to do all yourself. Share ideas on song arrangement/composition, instrumentation, mixing and mastering etc. I would prefer a situation responsibilities are shared among producers based on their competences. For illustration, Laye by kiss Daniel was produced (instrumental) by Dj Coublon and mixed by Sheyman. This type of synergy could bring the best off a song. As entertainers, we always need support to grow fast. If u need a song writer, a mixing and mastering engineer, slay your silly pride and call for one. I Wish for an era in Nigeria where songwriters, instrumentalist, producers, mixing and mastering engineers would gain due recognition in Nigeria.

Not a bad effort;I think it's a cool joint but your mastering isn't good enough. I feel some of sounds aint coming out well and audio level isn't high enough. Playing it on the same audio levels with other tracks,I find yours kinda low in output.

He wasn't the one compared with cannibus. It was another dude that was compared with cannibus. I was so excited when I read the review and rushed to download the so called "cannibus-like" rapper but got the shock of my life. Reminds me of a similar experience some yrs back, when a nairalander contacted me for A+R services, and told me he was better than Modenine, and could murder Modenine lyrically. I was so excited to listen to him but was thoroughly disappointed after listening to the dude. I just told him straight-up that He wasn't good enough.
Darkrebel666:
whoever compared Airforce1 with canibus needs to go get his brain thoroughly checked.
his track was an insignia & escutcheon of excellent wackness

I wonder why Nigerian musicians don't take out time to develop their skill first . ✘

Maybe you could start up by being a back-up artiste to someone else, and you could follow him or her around to perform at gigs. With time, you might get used to it. Stage fright isn't something that goes away completely for every artiste. Even the big superstars still suffer from it from time to time. I once watched Fat Joe do the sign of the cross at the back stage while He was being called up to perform, and He ran up stage to do His thing. Why do you think so established acts do lots of alcohol before stepping on stage? Don't let the stage fright get to you for now. Focus on getting yourself in the mix and when the time to perform comes, you'd sort that out.
themodernman:
I love music like crazy, I got a good voice so I think I can sing, now the ish is perhaps for me to find out the perfect voice for me. The type of artiste I love to be in their shoes include R-Kelly, 2face, Wande Coal, Wizzy mixed with the playboy hardcore of Jesse Jagz & 50Cent.

I wish to be anointed by all this people in my life. Rhyming get rich or die trying for the entire 75mins of the album with the same voice, TP-2.com of r-Kelly den as well etc. I just think my main problem is low self esteem dat results in stage fright & failure to launch out. Then I need to see if I can have a good melody and rhythm to tantalize the fans ears den lyrics finally.

But first of all I need a mentor!

God bless you for the "oliver twist" reference. I still believe that song is wack despite all the awards and fame it has brought d'banj. Unfortunately,d'banj has a very good song that most people do not like(top of the world). When I listen to music,I listen to what the artiste is saying, before I even take note of the beat. Those days,if you want to know good singers, you'd ask them to do an accapella and from there, you'd know if they can sing or not.
onatisi:
Honestly I haven't heard this track but what thing I know is the song isn't the worst, worst tracks have made it big in nigeria, what actually spoiled everything for airforce1 is the hype he gave his tracks. I got some tracks from ppl and they gave me the names of the artistes as small doctor and qdots, the point is as dangerously wack as their songs are ppl still love it and are always playing it simply because they allowed the song to grow on ppl. If they had gone to channels or mitv to broadcast their singles most likely they would have killed their prospect. The bitter lesson here for other upcoming artistes to learn from the mistake airforce1 made, always allow the music to sell itself and grow on ppl , organise small shows in ur area ,perform ur music to them , they are the ones who will broadcast you and spread ur music , don't go on the internet and be telling the whole world u will soon join dbanj and wizkid at the kora awards soon . MARKET YOUR MUSIC . Marketing is a very complex thing and it is very important to get the marketing right. Airforce1 chose the wrong marketing strategy for his music or product which raised the expectation of ppl about his talent and music beyond his level of competence and delivery. Upcoming artistes should try and devout time to formulating marketing strategy as much as they do for rehearsals. Oliver twist is a complete wack but it became dbanj greatest hit due to the marketing strategy employed by don jazzy which was to organise a global dancing competition for it and that made the song grow on ppl.
