This is quite heart rendering/disheartening. @ OP: sorry for all the pains you passed through. I (on behalf of all men) apologise to you and every other female, who has gone through such experiences in life. Pls,find it in your heart and mind to forgive, and believe that not all men are animals. Reason is,someday in the nearest future, you'd need to build your own home and having the feeling and mindset whicch you have about men now, would make that impossible.

Lord, help my unbelief! The part of how she kept going to heaven every 3am,is what I do not believe. However, kudos to her. I'm not looking for a virgin(cos I'm not one) but if I find one,no problem. I just want a woman who's God fearing, loving, responsible and compatible with me.

Don't mind them. They expect everyone to support blindly even when there are overwhelming evidences that Fashola hasn't done well in some places.

Those pics aint different (even some are worse) from what i saw within ijegun/abaranje axis few weeks ago. And some people on nl will expect everyone to hail fashola.

I can't talk about places I haven't been to;I'd only talk about places I've been to. Anyone who expects me to praise Fashola when my immediate environment looks like a junkyard, needs to go get His or Her head examined.

I really don't like giving bad mannered people like you,the dignity of a response but I'd post this link to a topic I created sometime around 2013,about this same issue so others can see. Note: the roads have gotten worse than they were, when I took this pics. I don't know what the state of the Ejigbo axis is.

Not everyone is a low-lifer like you;I don't need to tell lies in public. Just take a trip to the afore-mentioned places in the original topic.

In as much as I would have love just reading comments,i believe we all should let the public know if or not any impact from the present government is felt. I can categorically say that we have well constructed roads right here in Ifako Ijaye LG of Lagos done by this present administration. SO for those claiming mainland is yet to feel the present administration impact,i will encourage you to do proper research before spilling lies on public sites like this.

Well said. When they talk about development in Lagos, they keep showing us Ikoyi and Lekki. There are several places in Lagos that hasn't changed one bit in Fashola's 8 yrs. Sometimes,I park my car at the office and walk home because the road to my house is terribly bad. Driving through it would only destroy the vehicle. It's only when I'm using an SUV,that I can drive to and fro work regularly.

My guy(Koffi Idowu Nuel) and some of His friends like Teju babyface, basket mouth, owen gee, lepacious bose,Tee A,and a host of others, would be getting "out of control" at the muson center by 5pm today. It promises to be a mad show. Tickets are available for 5k @ www.dealdey.com or at the gate. Go have fun guys.

Exactly what I was pointing to Her. But She sees things in Her own way,and feels Her opinion must be taken by all, whether you like it or not.
Freshface:
D thread says "mums: wud u consider an epidural?" that to me sounds more like a question, hence it shud be open to all manner of opinions. However d OP had made it clear from her opening statement dat she's clearly not ready for counter opinions against epidural! This looks more like a pro-epidural thread n if u dare disagree, ur head will be chopped! I clearly have counter opinions, so i'll save myself d trouble. All in all what we wish for is a healthy mama n baby. How u chose to achieve this is entirely up to u. So pls let's be less judgemental n more open-minded. Peace.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Military Releases Another 125 Boko Haram Suspects by chronique(m): 9:07am On Nov 09, 2014
Try them in the law court with what evidence? Do you think you can just pick up a person from the street and then sue the person to court? What would you have as an evidence against the person? If you end up having no evidence,do you know you can be sued for defammation of character, and asked to pay damages? This thing aint rocket science now;it's clear for all to see. The real suspects are still being held in detention.
Abba999:
U have a point dear.

But that doesn't mean that all of them are innocent!

This is what people are saying- why are they not tried in the law court.

Considering the gravity of Boko haram evil upon Nigerians; it is pertinent that they all were individually identified, screened and scrutinized before the public who know their root and background.

Thanks for nominating me but I'd let it pass. I nominated you for miss NL and you refused to contest;now it's my turn to do my own back tongue cheesy. Just kidding though. I'm not sure I'm the right candidate for something like this. I'd rather the younger bloods in-house,sort themselves out and have fun with the competition. So,kindly permit me to humbly and politely turn down your nomination. All the same,I appreciate you for seeing me as a potential "mr NL". May the best man win. Ciao! [/b]

Congrats Jenimma. I didn't really check you out when I voted for you. I didnt even take a look at the other contestants before casting my vote(haven't still done that now) for you. The fact that I kept getting mentions(which I assumed were on serious issues until I checked and saw it was about miSs NL),made me cast a vote for you so as to stop getting further mentions relating to "miss NL". I think you're lucky and I also think your campaigners did a lot for you. Enjoy your fame/reign while it lasts. Do have fun.

Only a fool will sit down at home behind a laptop or a smart phone, and decide who a boko haram member is,and who is not. If you had a relative who tried to escape from Borno in the heat of the crisis, and was arrested and taken into custody for interrogation, would you demand He should be killed(even when He's innocent) just because He was picked up as a suspect during a raid? Why is it that some of us always refuse to think with our heads? Why do some people always jump into conclusion even when they know nothing about an issue?
Events › Pls Read And Prevent Another Boko Haram by chronique(op): 5:58pm On Nov 08, 2014
Hi folks!

Pls kindly bear with me as you read this BC. It would be a crime on my part if I don't send you this important message that can save our country;boko haram issue is enough for us to contend with and anybody adding more to that, would definitely add more to our problems.

I have a friend who goes by the name Koffi Idowu Nuel and I know you all know Him as the popular comedian who goes by the name,Koffi. I know Him to be a gentleman and someone who is quite understanding but lately,it seems like all that has changed. He has started moving together with some people and I think they are influencing Him. After doing an extensive investigation,I found out that He and His friends(people like Owen Gee,Basket mouth,Teju baby-face,Yaw,Gbenga Adeyinka,Lepacious Bose and a host of others),are planning something tomorrow at the Muson center @ 5pm. They are about to "get out of control" and only God knows what they want to do. I have reported this matter to all the law enforcement agencies and they've promised adequate security so long as you guys would be coming.

I need you guys to help me and all Nigerians to hold them before they turn the country upside down. All you need to do is go online on www.dealdey.com and buy a ticket for 5k each, for yourself, your wife and kids, your siblings and anybody you know. We need the crowd to stop them from "getting out of control". If you can't buy online,do that at the gate. If you don't lend your voice and your 5k,and you let them get out of control, and they start taking over towns like Boko haram is doing now in Mubi,Gwoza,Madagalki, etc, you're on your own o.

Remember,it's Koffi's "Out of Control" going down on November 9 by 5pm @ the Muson center,Lagos. A list artistes and celebs would be there. Tables are getting sold out;what are you waiting for?

All of you selling G-wagon,and Bentley, and Range rover and Lambogini Gallardo, etc, must be there.

Kindly help me re-broadcast this message to all your contacts.

See you there!!!
