This OP is a big joke. You think nobody knows this road here. I use this road every day because my office is located there. There is nothing like a superhighway or 10 lanes. It's a 4 lane road less than 3 KM that has been under construction for over 6 years. The construction of this road has been a curse more than a blessing to many property owners along the road. There is a river at the end of this section of the road, instead of them building a deep gutter that will send the water from the road straight to the river, rather they preferred to build shallow gutters and channel the water into some burrow pits they acquired and raise the road very high up to 10 feet above the original level. Now whenever it rains, houses and businesses along that road get submerged in water. Some petrol stations along that road have closed because of this wickedness. That is so insensitive and heartless. A thing only a wicked regime like that of Buhari can do. Op keep lying and deceiving yourself. |

Mtcheeeww. The man in charge of this registration in my area didn't have a car, but now he drives a corolla. He opened pre enrolment centres around, you must do the pre enrolment in one of his centres and they will sign it indicating it's from them. If not, he will reject it when you come to him for capture and tell you the QR code can't scan, that you should go and re do it in his pre enrolment centre. |

KayyDee: Exactly my bro,
Indeed, most people rush to comment on a project they may know nothing about, just to glorify a government they are supporting.
I for one, believe this project is most likely a Rivers State Government project.
To the best of my knowledge, there was no Federal contract awarded for the reconstruction of Enugu-Umuahia-Aba-PH Expressway.
Rivers being a very rich state tend to do their section of Federal roads after waiting for FG long enough without answer.
They did it with the road leading to Owerri/IMO State, whereby travellers enjoy their trip till they get to Omerelu, then it's a case of nightmare down to Owerri, starting from the Imo State boundary. The road is a Federal govt project bro. As a mater of fact, it's SUKUK funded. I know this because I stay in Obigbo and I have a property along that road which was badly affected by the road construction. |

You people keep posting and celebrating rubbish. First of all, it's not an 8 lane road, it's 4 lane. A less than 3km road has taken over 4 years, still no end in sight. Some say it's a 5 year project. (5 years project for less than 3km road) Secondly, the road is not as quality as we thought it's going to be when they started. Some parts are already eating up. Thirdly, i wonder if any environmental impact assessment was done before they started reconstructing that road. It has caused more harm than good to property owners and people living around the area. They raised the height of the road to about 12ft above its original level. People's house now submerge when it rains. You can't even channel water from your compound or street into the supposed drainage they dug because water from the gutter will flow into your compound if you try it. So many filling stations and businesses along the road has closed shop because of flooding as a result of the road construction. The government just want to score cheap political point with the road project nothing more. |

seunmsg: Very interesting interview. Apart from emphatically declaring that he’s not Igbo, I like the part where he claimed that the head of ipob is one small boy whose name he can’t remember . I’m also glad he acknowledged the cosmopolitan nature of Rivers state and rubbished the claim by ipob that they made him governor.
At least, those always doing attache by force can now give it a rest. Ikwerres are not Igbos and so be it. They are a distinct ethnic group in Nigeria. We should all respect who they are instead of forcing another identity on them. Ikwerres and majority of Rivers people are suffering from identity crisis. E go clear their eyes when oil go finish |

Igboid: Don't get it confused
Uche Okwukwu and other opportunistic Ikwerres are all part of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo because Ohanaeze is a useless organization that is obsolete and not in sync with modernity which exactly why the organization has no grassroot support in Igbo land.
Even as UK pulled out of EU, if the EU leaders are stupid enough to make an opportunistic English man claiming to be anti Brexit the Secretary general of EU with the pay package and power that comes with it,do you think such British will decline? The answer is No. But does EU making an English man the Secretary general of EU change the fact that the British back home have no interest in being part of EU.
That Uche Okwukwu an Ikwerre man is even allowed to be part of Ohanaeze let alone rise to post of Secretary general is a testament to how useless Ohanaeze Ndiigbo is as an organization. No Ikwerre or any one whose majority of his people are Igbophobic should be part of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo if the organization is a serious one.
So you IPOB should stop quoting this Uche Okwukwu, because you are only underlying the failure of Igbo leadership as epitomized by Ohanaeze when you use Uche Okwukwu as example of Ikwerre being Igbo. Dis one na big mumu |

It obvious you igbos hate the religion of islam and thats the major reason you hate the northerners and also the "Yoruba Muslims" that exist only among igbos. You guys are only disguising under tribe but deep inside, your hatred is for Islam. Funny enough, you guys can't survive in your region you still have to run to Lagos or north people you make a living. If at all you know anything, you should know that a Christian doest give a hoot what ever you decide to worship. We don't hate you for your religion or tribe. We only hate you cos you first hated us. |
