You are welcome. I can imagine his horror, even from mere watching CNN & co, the devastation is unimaginable and nothing one can even wish his worst enemy. May God save us all. |

@ Mod Please why is my posts getting deleted ? |
@Oyb, I have followed your arguments with 4llerbuntu guy and I am glad finally you guys hv decided to leave the Fan Boy ish and get down to pointing functionalities of both Linux & Windows. Honestly I think its a matter of choice, alot of people think Benz is the best ride out there, while others wont buy anything that isn't made by BMW! lol! IMHO, Windows works right out of the box. I have used all versions of windows staring from Win95. I have run alot of Linux OS ranging from Live CDs of Knoppix, Ubuntu, Mandriva etc but that was back then when i was in school and had so much time to tinker around, right now i need what just works and I am sticking my guns with Windows. My Dell XPS M1530 machine is running a Windows Ultimate, and I am totally loving it. I think the OS has got the makeover eye-candy looks of Vista combined with the trusted workability of XP. Infact I am loving the smooth and fluid flow of the OS on my machine and I have got no issues whatsoever of usage for over 2 months now and i am a heavy user too! (making sure i get the updates from windows). I am not here to advocate for any body, i am just saying work works and makes me happy! Windows 7 just works for moi! Nb: Oyb, i think you should check out this little tool called connectify-me. What it does is literally Turn your Windows 7 laptop into a WiFi hotspot to share the Internet with friends, co-workers, and mobile devices. I mean real WIFi network and not AD-HOC like you had on prior OS, a lot of devices cannot connect to AD-HOC mode like a PS3, but win7 has the ability for you to do this, but its kinda hidden so this app makes it all possible. give it a shot: http://www.connectify.me/ I am in full support of constructive criticism, it always brings out the best in us, but let us always learn from each others here on forums like this. I hail. |

The boys are at it again! When will this madness stop?? Source: http://www.huhuonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=708:nkem-owoh-osuofia-kidnapped-abductors-demand-n15-million-naira-ransom&catid=103:more-news&Itemid=333 he menace of kidnapping in Nigeria has taken another surprising dimension as the initial attention focused on oil workers/expatriates and politicians for money making has now been shifted, as people in the entertainment industry are now considered as object of attack by the dreaded and faceless abductors. Report reaching huhuonline.com today revealed that Nkem Owoh Nigerian Popular actor/Comedian popularly known as Osuofia has been whisked away and kidnapped since Friday (Nov. 6) by unknown gunmen. The source through a phone call told huhuonline.com that Osuofia had earlier called to inform them that he has been kidnapped. He was kidnapped along Enugu-Port harcourt Express way. The kidnappers are reported to have demanded 15 million Naira ransom from the family of Nkem Owoh. Details are still foggy as at press time, as every attempt to reach out to stakeholders in Nollywood about this ugly developments have proved abortive. It would be recalled that sometime Mid-August this year, another veteran Nigerian actor, Chief Pete Edochie was also kidnapped in a similar manner at Nkpor, a suburb in the commercial town of Onitsha (Anambra State) by armed abductors. Huhuonline.com will keep the public informed as event unfolds. |
@ George, You couldn't have been more explicit in your explanations with those calculations! @ Obijack, You are welcome brother. One luv. |
obijack:Obijack, Even though your questions were directed to GeorgeD, I would like to chip in my 2 cents here. You see, when it comes to energy and power generation/distribution, there is no magic there, what you put in will definitely determine what you get. Its very important you are aware of the consequences of what our greedy Nigerian biznessmen hv used Chinese technology to do to us. Believe me, a 2KVA Inverter for 25k is rather suspicious to me when you consider quality. Again be informed that Inverters are of kinds, the best being the PURE SINE WAVE which is what you should go for if you want the best. For batteries, the best for inverters are the DEEP CYCLE batteries and they last longer and much more efficient than your regular motor batteries which are otherwise cheaper. As for total online hours you will get from your setup, it totally depends on the load you have on. Take for example you have a bucket full of water, it will take a longer time for you to empty the bucket if you are using a tea-cup than if you are using a bathing bowl! Therefore, you have to calculate your load and use only what is important, for the light points get ORIGINAL OSRAM ENERGY BULBS, its 11watt bulb= 75Watt filament based bulb!. There are quite expensive but have a 3yr guarantee! ( each bulb goes for about 500-700 naira.) Remember that your main aim of having an inverter is to save cost, that is when compared with running a generator, therefore, if you go for inferior and cheaper options, at the long run, you will end up spending more! I advice you start with quality inverters and even with just a single Deep cycle 100 Ah Battery cos you can easily increase your battery bank with time which will consequentially give you more online time. Good luck as you chart your way towards a cheaper and environmentally friendly way to power enjoyment! ![]() |
Yes, I think you can view CRTV (crown royal TV ) and LTM TV and also Ghana TV. |
Olayinkaoj:No, Multi TV transmits only on Mpeg4 so you need an MPEG4 decoder to be able to view it. You can use either a Daarsat Decoder which is an Mpeg4/HD decoder or you get the new strong Mpeg4 decoder or yet still go look for the MultiTV box in Alaba. Cheers. |
Hi Tex, Hope you are cool, check out this link, i think its what you are looking for. Its a little under 25k. You can contact them and order it. They are reliable. http://buyright.biz/productdetails.php?categoryid=c127&subcategoryid=c129&productid=p1108 Cheers. |
