but the argument can help others in future tests. xpizzy: Bro,
No need for specious argument, in maths if x is less than 1500 it is written as x<1500.
What I know is ; I couldn't have missed more than 1 question and all this argument will not increase crs or land an ITA |

thanks for sharing. this opened another pore in my brain. talk2jt: You know how they say one shouldn't be technical during ielts. I guess this is one of those cases. Mathematically $1500 wouldn't have been the answer. They say answers should only come from the text in the passage. I guess this will help other people trying to take the exam. |

look at it this way. if u hire someone to do a job for u and he says he can only do it for more than 200k,what's the minimum amount which he can take. Kontagious: Grammarians and mathematicians should comann put mouth in this matter o. If passage says less than X, then X should automatically be ruled out as maximum. My thought. |

yes we do learn everyday. when I was still on my Australia waka the certificate of good conduct is what u will be directed to on the immigration website and that means this is what is sufficient for Australia but please dont assume its what is also sufficient for Canada becos its clearly seen on CIC what is required and on CIC its not called certificate of good conduct but police clearance certificate becos certificate of good conduct is given by ministry of foreign affairs I think and the latter by the police which CIC is interested in. so please check again lets be sure we're on the same page. meanwhile I'll call the number u posted and confirm what the difference between CGC and PCC is. Fameli: @Chuckdee We learn every day but i can tell you categorically that a Malaysian police certificate also called a Certificate of good conduct can be applied for online at http://www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/home you do not need CIC to send any request. It is sent to their embassy in Abuja when its ready and you get a phone call from them to come and pick it up. You can reach the abuja embassy on +23492908488 to further educate yourself on how to go forward. |

I dunno if u have gotten an appropriate response but I dont really know how u got that PCC. I say this because I also did my masters in Malaysi and from CIC website u can only apply for a Malaysian PCC when CIC requests for it cos one of the required docs for the application is the CIC request letter so when ur filling the form post ITA in the PCC section u just state that and move on so when that time reaches they will request for it. Fameli: I have come again o. HELP!!! I lived in Malaysia for sometime (School) and left there in 2013 i have collected a PCC that will expire this October can i still use it to submit my PR application. i intend to submit in November. Please HELP!!!

yea. I guess for this reason they don't need to see ur visas and the rest because they will get the info from other embassies. true. thanks for this. just wanna be sure that not uploading it doesn't make things fuzzy for them. cochtrane: Ideally you should report your travel history. That will let them know. If you don't, they may find out cos they exchange info with other embassies and you sure know what that may earn anyone. |

OK thanks for the clarification. though I used US as an instance. mine is Malaysia and from CIC website to get a Malaysian PCC u need to get a request from CIC. so in the place holder I'll write that I need a request from them to get it (when I get to that bridge though). but irrespective of the country since they explicitly requested only the recent travel docs that's what I'm gonna do. closetextrovert: You will need to state your travel history and if US is one of the countries you have been to, they can easily find out because they share data for immigration purposes. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by chuckdee13(m): 7:33pm On Aug 27, 2017 |
going by this if someone stays for instance in the US for for 7 months and didn't upload a PCC...how will they know you need to upload one if u don't scan visas and stamps for them to scrutinize. boldinc: Uploading your valid passport is what is required... However, like 40man said, if you feel more comfortable adding others, you can do that. But have in mind that it could cause some confusion, depending on the VO that treats your file.
Remember, you would give details of your travel history in your e-APR form anyways... |

hello. you have 90 days to submit your application so hopefully u can sort out pof before then but as u were told initially, u need to do medicals before u submit and ur advised to do it just before submission. this is to avoid it from expiring before ur visa is ready in the event it takes too long. and usually once ur visa is ready u have until the expiration of ur medicals to leave nigeria. hope this clears it for u. kissoflife: Thank you, but is it wise to wait til few days to submission before I go for medicals? Reason being my pof is still pending |

Reading your post, I cant help but remember the evening of 8th February 2017....that day, CRS cut off dropped below 450 for the first time since onset of EE. The announced cut off was 447 and my crs was 446.....mehhhnnnn I felt terrible..especially because there wasnt much hope that it will remain low... @Esosa4real encouraged me to be hopeful...... I crosschecked ma profile and saw i made a 0.5 mistake in inputting my IELTS... I corrected d error and gbammmm......my crs score dropped to 443....just imagine my reaction..... The rest is history. So ma dear, keep the hope alive.....u shall also get past this stage....

Great job everyone. You wont believe that each day I come I see so many pages to catch up with and finally dont reach the end, go to bed and wake up to more pages and the cycle repeats itself. well now I'm done and will try not to fall behind again. I did my masters in Malaysia and just realized that I cant request for a PCC without IRCC requesting for one as the request from IRCC is one of the required documents. this is what I saw on cic for Malaysia PCC. Hope following it to the letter is the best because as much as I understand it, it still sounds/seems weird.

Haven't gotten to that stage yet I must confess but from what I've been reading its best to put work experience you're not claiming points for in personal history and not work history. I hope this helps. Please someone with more experience should add. kissoflife: Do you mean like I don't have to state all my work experience? is it best to only state experience one is claiming points for?
please I need answers cos I don't want to make any mistake that would delay me post ITA |

In my opinion adding more things that require verification (when they're not necessary) will only prolong your application. At least you know you have all that experience doesnt matter if they do too. The goal is to get PPR as quick as possible without delaying it when the delay could have been avoided. MRSDA: LOL....na real wahala...i just want to add at least one work experience now...abi. If i have worked almost 14 years and finding it hard to prove any, isn't that a shame? It's probably just self validation. I have taken out all other work experiences but since i have business registration certificate, i thought i could just add that one experience.
