Phobia for dark rooms, like they didn't grow up in a Nigeria where NEPA (PHCN) made sure darkness was no stranger |
Why are CBN pushing this initiative, shouldn't it be NLC. If its to collect bribe they will be first in the queue but they are not quick to protect the average Nigerian worker |

My broda the fact that u were even considering this after all the bomb the guy dey blow is a good reason why scammers are still in business, wise up people |
bebe2:What happened on that night? |
SisiNini:It sure was, it was, from mainland to the island, if i remember correctly, the guy got on at cms |
Look at this chronic liar (Person papa), this video made me so ashamed to be an Igbo man, see as the guy dey lie. When he goes back home now, he'll be claiming this and that, driving a flashy car and people will be tagging him a big boy. I hope they locked his lying ass up and throw the key away for a long time. IDIOT |
I remember when I moved houses to a new area, some black man came and rang the door bell, when I opened the door, the man said that he had just lost his wallet and that he had a child that needed milk urgently that if I had anything to give it would be much appreciated. I can't remember how much but I gave him something that day. 2 months later, as I was coming back from work, as I packed the car, someone knocked on my window, you guessed it, it was the same man, as he started off with his routine story I told him if he doesn't leave my front that moment that I would beat the living crap outta him, that man ran off and I've never seen him since. Makes me very sceptical about giving money to people who beg for it but I don't rule it out completely cos I remember being at the post office and being 50p short cos I miscalculated, I had to start begging for 50p o. That made me realise that not all beggars are scammers, I guess this is where your judgement comes into play. |
I remember a while back was on a bus to work when this guy started singing praises on the bus, after singing, he prayed then started with his story. 'He said that we should help him thank Fashola, that he was wrongfully imprisoned for 'God knows how many years' and that if it wasn't for his mother who kept on writing to Fashola and petitioning that he would have probably died in kiri kiri. He then said that he was on his way to Ogbomosho to visit his mum and that since he had only come out of prison he had nothing on him, he then proceeded to beg the fellow commuters to help him with whatever they had' The bastard touched people's hearts with his story and he looked the part too (All skinny n stuff), people started contributing and giving him money, I did as well. After the idiot had finished collecting, the driver then said 'How many times we go hear this your story?' ![]() The guy quickly got off the bus, ignoring the driver and thanking people, people now started asking the driver why he didn't say something sooner. Only in Lagos |
6 more dwarfs and they would have changed her name to snow white ![]() |
Same should be done to people who joke with sensitive issues like ebola and bh on Nairaland |
Lagosians and Nigerians should learn how to drive and respect other road users then the use of horns frequently will become a thing of the past |
But looking at that fence, how in the world did she think she would scale it? |
bebe2:Source the items from Nigeria, you could find good deals in places like OLX (You gotta be careful though) but if your not in Naija then i'll suggest you use places like jumia or konga |
Men, I would stay well clear of that lady, she reeks of DESPERATION, whatever happened to self pride |
bastien: yeah......that guy fit come him site wit range rover go back with porchOh boy i heard the rumours, even the snake story I heard that from his wife's mouth. He was a nice guy but had that dark side to how he got his money, he was one of those sort of guys you would meet and ask yourself 'How did he make his money?' I don't like to believe this blood money thing but with people like Odogwu who i met personally there it sure does exist |

Sounds like a man trying to get some attention, let the poor lady rest in peace |
The thing is that both Linda Ikeji's blog and Nairaland target a different sort of demographic. Therefore OP your comparison is a bit flawed |
